Cynthia slightly tilted her head, looking at Kaylus with an expressionless face, and was the first to concede defeat. "Alright, Kaylus."
"I just wanted to roast some meat with my own hands and share it with you, to thank you for hearing my cry and rescuing me from the lion's mouth in time."
"Calling out?" His expressionless face showed confusion again, looking like he had no idea what her shouting was about.
Cynthia pursed her lips and grasped his hand tightly. "Before I died, I was thinking of you all the time, and I even called out to you loudly."
She swiftly planted a kiss on the base of his throat, her face flushing as she exclaimed, "You can never imagine how thrilled I was the moment I saw you."

Kairos' body stiffened inexplicably, and his large hand suddenly clenched.
A storm brewed in his eyes, but he gritted his teeth and suppressed it fiercely.
He dragged Cynthia towards the door, and she stumbled unprepared, almost throwing out the thin blanket in her hand.
"Kairos! Where are you taking me?!"
His hand gripped hers tightly, the force almost crushing her fingers into his interlocking ones.
"He replied in a cold tone, 'Barbecue!'"
Cynthia:
Does he deserve to use a tone of killing people to talk about such an entertaining thing?
Cynthia was dragged all the way to the bonfire behind the house before that big hand finally let go.
The meat is all ready, two wooden chairs and a round table are placed on one side, they can string up the meat to barbecue at any time.
Cynthia turned her sore wrist and looked at Kael, who sat down on a wooden chair like an old man, his red eyes staring fixedly at the pile of bright red meat with a hint of disgust.
She came to herself and became laughable and tearful.
Sitting beside him, Cynthia picked up a marinated wild rabbit and strung it onto the wooden frame over the fire to roast.
Fat drips into the fire, making a crackling sound.
Cynthia turned her head, thought for a moment and said: "When are you planning to go to Riedonia?"
Caius's gaze swept over, his tone dangerously opening, "Do you want to go back?"
"I know more about Rhedynia than you do and I can help you get your Song back as soon as possible." Cynthia said softly, "You know I'm willing to help you unconditionally."
Kairos' gloomy eyes softened, "It's still early."
The two fell silent for a while, until the rabbit meat was cooked. Cynthia got up and fetched two sets of tableware, cut the meat into slices with a knife, and handed them to Kael.
This guy is someone who even eats elegantly, it's impossible for him to directly stuff his mouth with greasy rabbit legs.
Although barbecue is only enjoyable when eaten with hands, Cynthia restrained herself from directly tearing the rabbit leg apart after seeing that he had already taken the plate, and instead picked up a fork and knife to eat.
She managed to be elegant in form, but watching Kyrios eat under the firelight was a visual pleasure.
Every move he made seemed carefully designed, yet carried a hint of casualness.
A whole rabbit, more than half of it was sent into Cynthia's mouth. Caius didn't like to eat this greasy thing that easily stained clothes.
The water flows gently at night, and the moonlight shines with a silver glow.
The night view is still pretty good tonight, Cynthia wrapped in a blanket sits quietly with Kayus to enjoy the view.
Although there was no conversation, the atmosphere was also very harmonious.
Looking at the stream not far away, she suddenly curled up her lips and broke the silence, "Were you bathing here last night?"
Kairos narrowed his red eyes, gazing at Cynthia dangerously. "What do you want to say?"
Cynthia's heart skipped a beat as she gazed at him, handsome in the firelight. She coughed lightly and said, "The water is quite clear."
Finally, Kayus stood up first and went back into the house.
She talked nonsense all day long.
Cynthia cooked some more wild boar meat by herself, cleaned up the remaining dishes, and then walked to the sheepdog Ted who was lying at the door with a plate of meat, putting the full plate of wild boar meat beside him.
She wanted to reach out and touch Ted's fluffy red fur, but thinking that Kaylus might notice and make her sleep on the floor, she ended up just squatting beside him and saying softly, "You'd better stay in this form for now, I'll turn you back later."
Tad's doggy eyes welled up with tears, and Cynthia ignored the repentant little eyes.
Let him live as a dog for a long time, I believe this punishment will be more unbearable than death.
Back in the bedroom, Kael had changed into a velvet robe and was lying on the bed, his outer robe crossed over his chest with a V-shaped collar, revealing part of his clavicle and a glimpse of his pale chest.
Her figure almost drew away Cynthia's attention, she really wanted to undo his clothes and take a look at his body.
If there were more expressions on that face, it would be perfect.
Suppressing her own evil thoughts, Cynthia changed into her nightgown and came out of the bathroom, staring at his motionless body for a while before walking over to lie down on one side.
It started raining in the middle of the night, pattering down on the lawn. The window wasn't closed tightly and was blown open by the wind, causing the curtains to billow outwards and raindrops to splash onto the floor.
Cynthia was extremely uneasy and curled up in a corner.
She fell into a terrible nightmare.
A huge brown male lion was chasing after her, with heavy and swift footsteps, the beast's roar, getting closer and closer.
She was running hastily with short breaths, but when she turned her head back, she tripped and fell.
The feeling of weightlessness like stepping on an empty staircase made her start a straight fall, the ground turned into clouds, she pierced through the roof and heavily fell onto a big bed.
Cynthia struggled up from bed, though her head was spinning, she knew at a glance that this was her home, her bed.
The sound of footsteps that seemed to be urging her towards death echoed in her ears again, and she didn't know why she started panicking. She wanted to get out of bed and run away, but a hand suddenly wrapped tightly around her waist.
Her back was stuck with a half-naked sturdy body, and a crisp sound came from her ankle. Cynthia lowered her head to find that a pair of golden shackles suddenly appeared and locked firmly on top.
She hastily turned back, facing those scarlet eyes filled with pain, let out a shrill cry, and broke free from the nightmare.
Caius forcibly wrapped Cynthia, who was fluttering about restlessly, in his arms and frowned, calling out: "Cynthia!"
At midnight, she had an unbelievable nightmare.
She was pressed tightly in Kael's arms and woke up with a cold sweat.
Why can I still dream of such a terrible imprisonment script!
The faint scent of mint in the air calmed her down gradually, she tightly hugged Kael's waist and stuttered: "I dreamed of that lion."
She was scared stiff.
Kairos pursed his lips, hesitated for a moment, then reached out to gently pat her back, saying in a low voice, "No one can hurt you."
Cynthia silently buried her face in his chest and didn't say a word.
Those terrifying eyes were etched in her mind and couldn't be shaken off.
