Chapter 91: Kyrios, Kyrios, Kyrios...

The hunting range circled out is not too wide, she won't get lost even if she's stupid, and Kael's horse will absolutely not have a problem with getting lost.

She was led into a deep forest and walked around in circles for three rounds without being able to get out, this is undoubtedly a trap.

Cynthia knew that she couldn't run away with her own strength, so she stopped the two horses and tied them to a larger oak tree, leaning against the big tree and sitting down.

Sitting in a heap of ferns, the half-person-high grass almost submerged her body.

She gazed at the black horse beside her, which was lowering its head to graze, and looked up at the sky divided by the leafy seams.

Today is a heavily overcast day, there's no sun, so the light in the forest isn't very good.

If Kya could resolve the issue in time and find her missing, she would be able to return home that afternoon; if not, she would have to consider staying until evening, also being cautious of wild beasts.

She slightly furrowed her brow, thinking that the girl was too foolish and bold, so openly setting a trap for her, wondering if she really thought she wouldn't make it out alive or if she thought Khaos wouldn't come to manage herself.

She sat silently under the oak tree in contemplation until the two horses beside her began to get restless and pace back and forth.

Cynthia raised her head vigilantly and picked up the bow and arrow that had been placed aside.

Some faint rustling sounds crept into my ears without being too jarring.

  Accompanied by faint gasps.

Like some kind of large carnivorous beast.

Cynthia hid herself behind a large tree and stretched out her hands to carefully untie the ropes that tied two horses.

A massive brown male lion emerged from the heap of grass, slowly walking towards its own direction.

She didn't know whether it was her own good luck or another one of that girl's schemes, but in any case she had already come close to death.

Cynthia touched the whip, looked at the horse in front of her that had already untied the rope but still didn't run, narrowed her eyes and fiercely whipped one of them on the buttocks.

With a loud crack of the whip on its flesh, the horse let out a mournful cry and took off at a rapid gallop.

One ran away and another one followed quickly.

But what made Cynthia extremely disappointed was that the lion didn't even glance at the two horses.

There is only one reason left.

That cruel girl quickly found a powerful hunter to shelter the little white rabbit trapped in the trap.

Cynthia knew that hiding was not a solution. She couldn't run fast, didn't have any magic or strength, and was simply a mediocre fighter.

The only thing that can be done.

She looked up at the top of the giant tree above her head.

He slung his bow and arrow on his back, using both hands and feet to start climbing up from behind.

  Kairos, Kairos, Kairos

She was calling out his name repeatedly in her heart, while accelerating her climbing speed.

The lion quickly circled around the back of the giant tree, and with a fierce roar, it leapt up from the ground and pounced upwards.

Cynthia was quick-witted and one of her hands fell empty, fortunately the palm of her hand barely supported a piece of raised tree bark, preventing herself from slipping down.

She gritted her teeth and glanced down at the male lion, which was only about two meters away from her. She could almost smell the stench in its mouth.

She struggled to climb up, and the male lion at the foot of the tree also kept trying to climb up with its hands and feet.

Until Cynthia's palms were worn out, she found a very thick branch to sit down. She bowed her head and saw a male lion hugging the tree trunk and climbing halfway up.

It has a large volume and is not light in weight.

It's too high, can't climb up anymore.

She took down the bow and arrow from her back, pulled out a copper arrow from the quiver, placed it on the bowstring, swiftly drew it open, and aimed at the lion's brow.

The bow was drawn to its limits and shot out.

The arrow shot by Cynthia, imagining it would be a fatal hit, did not happen. Without any magic or power, the arrow softly veered off and only grazed the lion's face as it passed by.

But at least this warning made it return to the ground, and she temporarily escaped danger.

Cynthia licked her lips again, drew back the bow and arrow, and took aim at the lion once more.

There were still four arrows left in her quiver, but she hesitated and didn't shoot them out. In the end, she even put them down.

She can't shoot at will anymore, as long as this male lion doesn't climb trees, she'll save a bit.

Although she thought so, Angela, who had a mind to torment Cynthia, did not want her to sit comfortably on the tree.

She plucked a leaf from her fingers as a medium, murmured a few words in her mouth, and before she finished speaking, the young man beside her immediately interrupted her.

"Halt! You know you can't kill her! Lord Caius would never be pleased that you killed his pet!"

Angela was interrupted in the middle of her spell, and she wasn't pleased. She turned around and glared at him, "Don't worry, I won't kill her, just make her suffer a little."

The young man beside him, however, began to feel a sense of trepidation. His rational mind told him that the way the adult looked at his pet was clearly very focused, and he hadn't wasted any extra emotions on Angela, which only proved that this pet had some weight to it.

He started to back away, "I'll only help you this far, the formation will be lifted in two hours, I'm leaving first."

Angela watched him run away, muttering a curse under her breath: "Coward".

Cynthia's foot was suddenly wrapped up by a vine that came alive from the tree.

She let out a cry and her body fell freely, bringing the bow and arrow in her hand down with her, smashing to the ground.

And she just managed to grab one copper arrow.

The vines binding her feet hung her upside down from a tree.

But the lion below suddenly became active, and it jumped up at once.

This time, the lion's sharp claws barely caught her dangling hand.

Cynthia's veins on her forehead all burst out, she shouted, "Caesar!"

She used her loudest voice to call out to the Dark God who was somewhere in the forest.

Kairos stood up straight, seemingly aware of something, his scarlet eyes narrowing as he stepped on the corpse of a magical creature.

Hanging upside down and getting a headache is very uncomfortable. Cynthia would either die or suffer severe brain damage if she didn't.

Angela, hiding in the dark, had already calculated the distance and knew that the male lion couldn't catch Cynthia, but hearing her call out to Kayus still made a faint unease rise up in her heart.

The next scene was something she never could have imagined.

Cynthia's face had turned bright red, she knew that before she completely fainted from cerebral congestion, she had to make a final resistance.

She concentrated her mind and took a look at the wisteria above her head and the male lion under her feet.

Finally gritting her teeth, she relied on her soft body to suddenly prop herself up halfway, using the copper arrow to cut off the vines.

Angela, hiding in the dark, suddenly opened her eyes wide and stared at Cynthia's straight fall, only then did she realize that something was terribly wrong.

  Roughly, possibly, with added more
