Chapter 30: Really Cant Guess

"Adults, that's not control." Anthony shrank his head and said somewhat awkwardly: "This is just the desire produced by every normal man when attracted to a woman."

  "Don't you like it?"

Caius's firm and cold response was "I don't like it."

"It's better to see her less, perhaps it's her body or perhaps it's her gentle words, anyway women always like to use some part of their body to attract men." Anthony said: "The usual tricks used to seduce people will make men feel even more enchanted."

"So you're saying she's flirting with me?" Kaelus sneered.

Anthony recalled that beautiful face and said with his rich experience: "Women only love to do this kind of thing with people they like."

"Like me?" Kael's incredulous mockery, "No one likes the Dark God."

"You may be underestimating the women of Tamerlane, and you are certainly underestimating your own appearance." Antony replied sulkily.

Anyway, the brief conversation between the two gave Kael a clear mind, he knew what to do and stopped smashing things, even raised his hand to repair all the shattered stone statues and decorations.

Cynthia, who was drowsy in bed, was disturbed by the sound of rain outside the window and had a headache. The progress bar also appeared again in front of her eyes.

  Divine Light Progress: 12%

She glanced at the progress bar, closed her eyes and sighed inwardly.

It's really impossible to guess what he is thinking about now, that guy is hiding somewhere again.

The sound of the heavy rain at night was very noisy, especially when it splashed on the stones. It was so loud that Cynthia covered her head with a quilt and even pressed a pillow on top, but she still couldn't fall asleep.

A strange and inexplicable chill rose from her heart, making her feel even more annoyed.

There's still Curtis' matter that hasn't been resolved, which has always left a knot in her heart.

It wasn't until the sunlight outside had filtered through the curtains and spread a thin layer over her bed that Cynthia finally opened her eyes in a daze.

  Kaius didn't come today.

She waited in the room until noon but still didn't see him.

Cynthia sighed, washed up and put on a black puffy skirt.

Can't help but say that these fallen angels have a good aesthetic, or maybe she's particularly suitable for black. Anyway, this round-necked dress with small pearls inlaid on it looks great on her.

Cynthia observed her blonde hair for a moment, coiling this thick head of hair on top of her head, leaving only a few short, curly strands framing her face.

She looked at herself in the mirror with satisfaction, seeing no ornament but a surprisingly beautiful self, and turned out of the room.

Today's Cynthia didn't wear a cloak, and her appearance has already been seen by people, so wearing a cloak to cover up is completely meaningless.

She intended to go into the kitchen of Dune's restaurant and ask them how to use these outdated cooking tools, so that next time Khaos came, she could cook food to win his favor.

Down the creaky wooden stairs, Cynthia stepped onto the wet stone floor, the fresh scent of rain entering her nostrils. Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the clouds, warming the daytime temperature to just right, neither cold nor hot.

She walked with a light step and returned polite greetings to every person she didn't know but who was friendly.

  Soon, Cynthia discovered some abnormalities.

There were more women and their clothes had undergone a strange transformation.

Each of their chests was exceptionally full, wrapped in a thin gauze of five colors and six colors, but only wrapped half of it.

They actively went forward to greet Cynthia while staring at her slightly bulging chest with a disdainful gaze.

Alright, she knows what's going on now.

Last time she lied to that woman in the black market saying Kael likes big breasts, their drawing style collectively mutated.

Cynthia was completely indifferent to those disdainful glances, walking elegantly and trying her best to straighten the corners of her mouth, pretending that she wasn't stifling a laugh but rather seething with anger.

To some extent, she is also getting some benefits for single men like Duane.

Although Kael also wouldn't care about such a boring thing, everyone knows that he has been appearing in this area very frequently recently. Cynthia thought that for a long time to come, the women here would probably keep walking around her house nonstop.

She soon arrived at the restaurant where Duane worked. Although there was a celebrity effect, the food here was really bad in taste and today's business was also continuously sluggish.

"Cynthia!" Dawn exclaimed as Cynthia floated over like a sprite. "Are you coming to dinner?"

"Uh-huh." Cynthia smiled and nodded, "I'd like to take a look at your kitchen while I'm here, may I?"

"Of course." Duoen smiled wryly and looked around, saying: "Anyway, there are no customers anymore. Once you spend that one gold coin, I'll be out of a job too."

The restaurant across from them was still booming with business.

Cynthia nodded, "Actually, I wanted to ask you about how to use the kitchen, Lord Kael hopes I can cook for him."

"He's given up on abandoning you! That's really great!" Duo En was genuinely delighted for her.

"There isn't." Cynthia lowered her head, somewhat disheartened. "He just despises me for not knowing this; I probably still can't escape the fate of being abandoned."

Duo En thought for a moment, and then comforted her with some embarrassment, "The aesthetics of Lord Kaelus are the same as most normal men, but don't be discouraged, your pretty face can make up for some shortcomings."

The more tactfully Duane spoke, the more speechless Cynthia became. She could be 100% certain that once this body grew up a bit and was able to defeat most women, she just hadn't grown up yet.

Cynthia tossed these strange ideas out of her mind and followed Dawn into the back kitchen.

The cook was lazily dozing off on a wooden bench, the whole kitchen was quiet as there were no customers.

Dorne didn't plan on waking anyone up either; he personally introduced Cynthia to some of the tools.

The way that stove is used is also very simple, it's a bit like a fireplace, with charcoal burning below and the cooking surface above, and there are many tools hanging on the wall.

Duane demonstrated it on the spot for Cynthia, "Mutton soup is also a classic in our store, I'll make some for you to try."

She watched Duoen directly wash a piece of mutton that had been cut into small pieces, and then threw it into the boiling water. A question mark slowly appeared above her head.

Even she, who isn't particularly skilled in cooking, knows that doing it this way will make it taste especially fishy.

"That Maotai...," Cynthia couldn't help but remind him, "shouldn't you heat up some water?"
