Ch.1: World Beyond the Veil

32-year-old, Head of the Department of Magical Law Enfort (DMLE), Harry Proggily woke up. He realized that he was lying down on a bed made of the most unfortable material. He opened his eyes and looked around, found himself in a strange room built with stone walls illuminated with dles.

Well, this is certainly not what he thought would happen when he walked into the veil, tired from all the loneliness arayal over the years. And generally, just weary from life.

'Is this where everyone arrives when they jump into the Veil?' he wondered 'Or does the owner of the 3 deathly hallows get a special cession.'

A gside the window showed that it was nighttime, and annce upward showed him a surprisingly rge number of stars and a clear night sky. And he found out two things quite quickly by simply looking at the sky.

First, wherever he was, the air in this pce was without any trace of pollution in it.

Sed, this was not London, as the steltions in the sky were pletely unreizable to him. In fact, he doubted that he was even oh anymore.

'So, an alternate world.' He mused to himself before he tried to get up and suddenly found it a bit disorienting when he realized that the body he was in was not his owher.

In fact, this new body was a fair bit thinner and smaller than his own body. And he khat this was not his own body either. He would have reized it if that were the case.

  'So, someone else's body then.'

He felt strangely resigned about that fact, which he realized was rather unnatural. After all, he had just lost his own body. Shouldn't he feel… something about that?

A light pain in his head prompted him to touch his head and he found that it was covered with some kind h cloth. He grimaced when a prickle of pain from the back of his head hit him once again and the out a sigh.

His st body had been exposed to dark spells like the Cruciatus Curse frequently and was used to feeling pain. He would have never shown any outward sign even when he felt a pain that was ten times worse than this had this been his old body.

'Whoever this body beloo had lived a privileged life then.' He realized before he grunted and got out of the unfortable mattress with some difficulty.

  He felt weak and disoriented.

He wondered if he should be feeling a bit worried about this new and unknown situation, but he was so tired that he just couldn't bring himself to care about anything at this point.

Then he heard someone's soft footsteps from the outside the door before it opened and a young teenage girl ehe room.

And then she ran away shouting something like “My Lord, My Lady.”

For a moment, he wondered if all of this was a carefully crafted illusion. He had seen cleverly crafted illusions that befuddled your mind a you utterly fused on the deep crypts i, but it was nothing as eborate as this.

'Perhaps he really did e into a different world and took possession of someone else's body.'

He suddenly felt a burning pain from the back of his right hand. When he looked at it, he saw a symbol appeared on his skin.

  But not an ordinary symbol.

A symbol with a circle, line, and triangle bined.

A symbol that he knew very well from his past.

  Symbol of Deathly Hallows.

Represent the three Deathly Hallows: the circle is the Resurre Stohe line is the Elder Wand, and the triangle is the Cloak of Invisibility. Three legendary objects that were allegedly created by Death, and, if united, would supposedly make ohe “Master of Death”, also known as the “Vanquisher of Death” and the “queror of Death”.

When the burning pain faded Harry found an anomaly at symbol. ‘Why are the circle and line bck but the triangle is red? I have never seen this kind of representation of the symbol in the past.’

The symbol of Deathly Hallows slowly faded after a while. Harry looked at the back of his hand.

‘What does this mean? I feel a magical pulse from it. Did I beaster of Death as legend tells?’

He didn't have the ce to think anymore as a few distinct hurried footsteps came from outside the room and the door was suddenly flung open as a beautiful woman in medieval dies' clothing, a plump man in grey robes, and a man with cold eyes wearing a lordly outfit ehe room.

Then he was engulfed in a motherly hug by her. Aiffened in shock.

The only one who has ever hugged him like this was Molly Weasley.

‘This woman... Did I steal her son's body?’

He felt a bit of sympathy for the woman before he crushed that feeling and simply ehe hug filled with motherly affe.

When he walked into the veil, he didn't want to e here but now that he was here, in a new body, he had the ce to live a whole new life without any burdens.

A life that he would live without as.

After a long and tearful hug, the woman finally let go of the hug but held onto his shoulders as if he would run away if she didn't.

“Oh Dom… I'm so gd you're okay. I was worried you would never wake up.” She said as tears fell down her and he had a feeling that she wasn't a woman who cried a lot.

He felt the urge to move forward and wipe the tears from her face, but he held back his urges and simply asked “Five me… but who are you again?”
