Shiloh and his girls made another out of their bs and pillows in the middle of the living room, and he spent a fitful night trying to e up with an outfit that would hide Beck's fox traits. When daybreak crested through the window, they all rose and he went to the kit to see if he could make breakfast.
Luckily for him, they seemed to have been pced into the world right after he had gone shopping, as the fridge and pantry were both well-stocked. He let the girls explore the apartment, after fisg their ons, just in case. While they were distracted, he made scrambled eggs, pancakes, ba and toast. He brought the two chairs back to the dining room table and had just finished setting it when the smell of cooked meat led his lovers in.
He sat them all at the table and served their breakfast, standing against the wall to eat his own as his table only had four chairs. He poured them all e juice, which was as big of a hit as the ba had been. They all wolfed down the food with many thanks and appreciative moans. He couldn't help but smile, his worries momentarily alleviated at the pany he shared.
When breakfast was over, he took their measurements in preparation for his uping shopping trip befiving them some ground rules for the apartment. He felt like a stern parent, standing over them at the table and trying to impress upon them how serious this was.
"These rules are to keep you safe. If someoo see Elnor or Beck as they are right now, really terrible things could happen to them. I'm talking like, disseg them to see how they work kind of horrible. That, at least, had gotten Ara to stop goofing off and pay attention. "Don't open the door or windows. Keep the blinds shut. I don't care if you explore my apartment h my things, but please put them back where you found them if you do. Do not do any magic at all, besides going through your iories and deg what you absolutely need. Once we leave this apartment, we ot use iories anymore."
They all nodded solemnly, and Shiloh went to his bedroom to ge into a set of normal clothes; just a pair of jeans and a pin, bck t-shirt. He ged his boots out for his sneakers, and stuffed the cash into his pocket. He debated bringing his phone, which was sitting on the nightstand, plugged in, but there was no way to call the girls, so he decided against it. He did, however, teach Elnor how to a if it rang.
"Once you press your fio the green circle, hold it up to your head like this." He demonstrated, then handed her the phone. She copied him perfectly. "Good. Don't say anything until you hear my voice. If anyone else speaks, you pull it away from your head and press the red button." Elnor nodded and he handed her the device. "Don't lose it."
He walked out of the bedroom, elf in tow, and found the rest of them sitting on the couch again. "Okay, I'm leaving now. I should be ba a few hours. If you get hungry, eat some of the rations. I'll make food when I get back, but I don't want any of y to operate the stove. If you do it incorrectly, you could blow up the whole apartment."
They all rose and, one by one, gave him a huge and a kiss as well as their wishes for lud for him to be safe. Shiloh tried not to ugh as they did so; he was only going shopping, and they were the ones in danger here if they were found out. When they'd all said goodbye, Shiloh stepped out the front door and locked it behind him.
He walked down the hallway and made it down two flights of stairs before turning around. He went back to his door and, on a stroke of inspiration, knocked. He heard Ara's voice from inside.
"ing!" Then he heard her fumbling with the lotil she figured it out and opehe door.
"Why did you do that?" Shiloh hissed, stepping inside and shutting the dain.
"You knocked." Ara replied, but her face was beginning to redden.
"I told you to not open that door!" Shiloh said sternly. "I have a key. If I want to get in, I do it by myself. Now promise me, you will not open that door."
"I promise." Ara replied, looking at the floor.
"Okay, thank you. Now e with me." Shiloh gathered up the girls and took them to the bathroom, expined how the shower and toilet worked, then stopped dead as he looked in the mirror. He remembered that he looked nothing like his old self. He frantically ran to the bedroom, scooped up his wallet, and took his I.D. to the bathroom to see if there was enough of a resembo pass himself off as, well, himself.
To his utter shock, the I.D. in the wallet, which bore all the right information to be his, had a picture not of his old body, but of his new one. He grinned and stuffed the cash into the wallet and the wallet into his pocket. He hadn't pnned on using it, but he apparently would have access to his car.
He went to the bedroom once more and grabbed his keys, the with another round of goodbyes from his lovers. He went downstairs, walked out the back door of the building, and found his car parked right in his assigned spot. He hopped in and peeled out into town.
Midnd was not a rge town, but it was rge enough to have a small mall with a few clothing outlets, a food court, and some other specialty shops. He wasn't heading for the mall, though. Nothing stood out quite like feous women in brand-new clothes following around some guy in a t-shirt and faded jeans.
He went to several different thrift stores, whided up taking far lohan he had anticipated. He was at the third one aing close to noon when he preteo have "fotten" his cell phone, and asked the cashier if she had a phone he could use. She took him back to an office, where he dialed his own number and waited. It only rang once before he heard it ect.
"Elnor? It's me, Shiloh."
He heard her sigh of relief. "Where are you? I thought you said it would only be a few hours."
"I know, I'm sorry. I'm having trouble finding clothes in all of your sizes. I've got outfits for you and Ara, and some for Twil. I should only be another hour or so. If I take lohan that, I'll call you again. Whatever you do, do not e looking for me. I am not in any danger, and I promise I will be back soon."
She didn't say anything for a while, then he heard her sigh again. "Okay. Be safe. We love you."
"I love you too."
Whe off the phoh her, he left the store and headed to the fourth one. If he struck out here, he'd o go to the mall or a standaloailer. He finally mao round out Twil's wardrobe; she ended up with a mostly tween outfit, si was all they had in her size. He already had a top and shoes that would fit Beck well, but he just didn't know what to do about her tail or her ears.
He was walking back up the aisles when the door chimed and he looked up. A petite girl wearing mostly bck clothing walked in. She was definitely some kind of emo rocker chick with her tight pants, spiked bracelets, bck lipstid thick eyeshadow. What caught his eye, however, was the purple fox's tail she had clipped to the back of her pants. He grinned and threw the top he had picked out for Beck ba the rack.
When Shiloh had finished his shopping, he decided to blow the girls' minds aopped to get lun the way home. He didn't want to give them iion, as he was sure most fast food would, so he went to a little roadside taco truck that he loved and ordered a family ptter. They loaded him up and he sped back to his apartment as quickly as he could. The real challenge was getting inside while carrying several rge bags of clothing and shoes as well as the precariously-packaged lunch. He ma, however, and was able to let himself bato his apartment without i.
He leasantly surprised to find that his lovers hadn't destroyed his apartment while he was out. Ara was ying on the couch, looking bored out of her mind. Twil was sitting on the floor in front of her, apparently meditating. Elnor was at the table, his cell photing in front of her with an anxious expression on her face. All three of them looked up as he entered, and Beck strolled out of his bedroom, her witg aail wagging.
"Do you guys smell food?" She asked before seeing Shiloh at the door. She smiled widely. "Shiloh! Let me help you with that." She hurried over and took the food from him, letting him carry the e bags.
"Thanks." He said dryly, smiling all the same. "Set it oable, Beck."
She gnced back at him and stuck her to, but followed his instrus. Shiloh dumped all the bags just ihe door and beed for Twil and Ara to join them. With all his girls seated at the table, Shiloh uned the food and began spreading it out for everyone.
"These are called street tacos." He expined as mouths began to water. "You take one of these tortils, like so, and you fill it with whichever meats and veggies you want. Then you pour some of this sau it and..." Shiloh stuffed the entire miniature tato his mouth ie, then smiled widely around it.
Ara and Beck burst out ughing at once, wheezing at his overstuffed cheeks and ical grin. Even Elnor snorted and covered her mouth as she chuckled at him. He only got a tiny turn up at the er of Twil's lips, though, but he would take whatever win he could get. At his insistehe girls dug in.
The room quickly sounded like he was gobbling down all of their cocks simultaneously. Between the moans, groans, a sounds, he'd be surprised if aside thought they were doing anything eveely det. Ara was the only oo try and imitate his oe method, but she made such a mess that she realized it was a maneuver best left to the professionals.
"That was the most delicious thing I have ever had." Beck groaned, sitting bad rubbing her full stomach whe taco had been ed.
"You have got to make that for us again sometime." Ara agreed.
"Well, I 't." Shiloh admitted ruefully. "I don't know the recipe, and I'm not even sure if the ingredie on Glitnir, outside of this dungeon."
The two of them pouted, but Elnor raised an excellent question.
"Where do you suppose the boss of this dungeon is?"
Shiloh shrugged. "This is my first time being in a dungeon and, from what we've seen so far, it's nothing even close to what it ought to be."
"I'm sure we'll find a way out soon." Twil reassured her elven friend, reag over and squeezing Elnor's hand. Shiloh immediately felt like a piece of shit. Here he was, shopping aing street tacos, when they'd just been trapped inside a hostile entity known for killing trespassers, and he hadn't even begun thinking about how to get out.
"I'm sure the boss will be somewhere signifit to Shiloh." Beck sighed, still rubbiummy. "The dungeon built this biome around him, so it would make sehat the boss follows the same pattern."
Shiloh sidered that for a moment. What was signifit to him in Midtown? His parents lived there. He'd goo school there. He'd lost his virginity there. He'd lived there his entire life. There were so many important moments, but hat sounded like they'd be worthy of being a "boss" for him to overe.
Thehought about Kim. She hadn't been his first girlfriend. She hadn't been his st girlfriend. Hell, she hadn't been the lo or the most serious girlfrieher, but she was still the ohat had shattered his heart. The simple fact that she had sprung to mind after all this time, after he'd finally met four women reciated him for who he was, and who would literally fight moo keep him safe, spoke volumes about the psychological impact she'd had on him.
He and Kim got together while he was taking online csses for college. It was a far cheaper alternative to obtaining his prerequisite courses befoing to a "real college", and it gave him a lot more free time. Free time that he spent trying to meet someohat he could fall in love with. He'd thought he found that in Kim, the brue girl--door type he'd mao work up the ce to buy a drink for at a bar one night.
They got along like oil and water; their personalities were so different and so opposed that they were fighting as often as they weren't, but the chemistry between them was absolutely electric. He was on his way back from the jeweler's, ring in his pocket, when he found her in his apartment, in his bed, with another maook away her key and told her he never wao see her again.
Kim didn't let up, though. She barraged him with texts, emails, and calls trying to apologize, to get ba his good graces. He had eventually relented, reminisg of the good times they'd had together and reasoning that, if she was this desperate to reect, the spark must still be there. It was, but it wasn't like it had been.
Their fights went on longer and grew more serious than before. The moments of pead moments of passion were shorter and farther apart. The chemistry had fallen apart, and she mao vince Shiloh that it was his fault for not really fiving her. If he had just let the iy go, they would be able to move past it. They'd be able to heal and work through things.
So, he sought a therapist. Wheherapist told him she was maniputing him and that their retionship had all the hallmarks of abuse, he'd sought a pastor. Then a life-coach. Then a supproup. He was floundering in a sea of his own inadequacy while everyone around him told him that he was being abused and that the girl he loved didn't love him iurn.
That's when he caught her the sed time. She said she was at work, and he decided to surprise her for her lunch break. He showed up at the retailer she worked at, carrying a pte of her favorite sushi, where the maold him that she'd called in sick that day. Supposing that she lied simply because she didn't want him to gh all the effort of f her, he'd goo her house. He heard screaming when he opened his car door, and he immediately ran up to the door a himself in.
She was bent in half against the kit ter, telling the faceless bastard behio fuck her harder. When Shiloh crashed through the front door, the two of them looked up and froze, thearted moving her hips bad forth, fug herself on another man's cock while staring directly at him. When the guy asked her who he was, she ughed.
"Don't worry, he's just a reinfort."
Reinfort. He'd looked it up ter that night and found that it was a term for a man that a woman would keep around, usually uhe guise of a retionship, so that she could berate ale him in order to "help herself submit to men worth submitting to". Someoo keep her own self-fidence high so she didn't feel bad about being a gigantic whore all over town. The only thing that kept him from killing himself that night was a timely call from his mother. He finally left Kim food, and it took him two entire years to even think about talking to anirl again.
"Shiloh?" Elnor asked nervously, taking his hands in her own. "Are you okay?"
He was snapped out of the past and away from the ghosts which hau. He refocused his eyes and found them to be full of tears, which he furiously blinked and rubbed away. A warm, sticky feeling from his hand made him stop. He had been g his fists so hard, his fingernails had drawn blood from his palms. He felt like he was going to be sick, a his hands down again before finally daring to look the girls in their eyes. He gnced around and saw nothing but care and love in each of their faces, and he broke down g.
