With a Kekkei Genkai foundation, prehensive knowledge of this world, and his owhinking, it was only natural that Habara could rapidly increase his strength. In particur, "Mercury Lamp," which could instantly dense a mass of mercury into tless metallic threads possessing bidity and resilience, owerful ninjutsu that posed a life-threatening dao the vast majority of ninjas.
The dual bdes, geireme cold areme heat by altering atomic vibration frequencies, were also highly threatening.
"Mag Release," as a retively on Kekkei Genkai in the ninja world, each Mag Release user had their own different way of using it. Limited by his chakra amount, Habara's attack style was actually closer to "pinpoint damage." It was also for this reason that, when defending, he always used fluid defeher than direct full-body defense... A poor man had to live frugally.
In essence, Habara cked the ability to engage in sustained bat, which was one of the reasons he had chosen to flee earlier.
However, through this battle, he had also learned something from the enemy's Mag Release ninja...
As he walked through the Konoha camp, his left index and middle fingers each maed a ball of noal chakra. These two balls sometimes attracted each other and merged, and sometimes repelled each other and separated... With his mind opened, he could even give the chakra more intuitive trolbility.
Arriving at the aer and being announced, Habara once agai Orochimaru.
"Habara, you returned much soohan I expected. With the current sudden ge in the war situation, I thought you might never e back," Orochimaru expressed surprise at Habara's quick return, and even at his return at all.
Habara didn't waste any words. He directly took out two scrolls from the ninja tool bag on his back. "This one is Kinkaku, and this one is the Sed Hokage and Ginkaku... I found them all."
"Excellent."
Given how quickly Habara had returned, Orochimaru had subsciously assumed the mission had failed. He hadn't expected him to succeed.
Then Orochimaru paused, subsciously voig the question in his mind, "Why this grouping?"
Habara had taken quite a few sealing ste scrolls. Having found all three, he could have put eae in a separate scroll, or put the Kinkaku and Ginkaku brothers together and the Sed Hokage separately, or even stuffed all three together. So why was Kinkaku alone, and the Sed Hokage and Ginkaku together?
"I was in a hurry, so I just stuffed them into bags. I didn't look closely at the time."
Habara really hadn't do on purpose, but he had made a mistake, making him seem somewhat disrespectful to the Sed Hokage. Fortunately, the Sed was dead and shouldn't care about such trivial matters.
Orochimaru was slightly speechless. After a moment, he took out a scroll from his pocket and ha to Habara. "Your mission reward."
Although he couldn't check it immediately, Orochimaru believed that Habara wouldn't dare lie about this.
"For a Mag Release ninja, I think this should be a pretty good reward."
Habara took the scroll, ope, and found that it tained an A-rank advaninjutsu... the Shuriken Shadow e Teique. It could instantly turn one shuriken into thousands, raining down on the enemy in a wide area. This was a ninjutsu developed by the Third Hokage.
It was indeed a good jutsu. The problem, however, was that such a jutsu ed a siderable amount of chakra. If Habara had that much chakra, he could actually py around with iron sand like the Third Kazekage, and he could even do it more creatively.
"It's a good jutsu, but it's not something I use right now... Lord Orochimaru, could you throw in a more practical little ninjutsu, like the B-rank Shadow e Teique?" As he spoke, Habara had already stuffed the scroll into his ninja tool bag. Although he felt the jutsu was impractical, he hadn't said he wouldn't accept it.
The Sed Hokage's remains in exge for an A-rank ninjutsu, it was hard to say who was losing out. But given that Habara had thrown in two "cabbages," did Orochimaru have the to give him a little somethira? (The "cabbages" refer to Kinkaku and Ginkaku, implying they are extra/bonus finds.)
Shadow e - Multi-Shadow e - Shuriken Shadow e, these were all part of the same system of jutsu. There was no reason for Orochimaru not to know the Shadow e Teique.
Orochimaru was almost taken aback by Habara. It was the first time he'd seen a ninja haggle over mission rewards. And given that Habara had done a pretty good job, Orochimaru couldn't say much, or he'd seem petty.
For a moment, Orochimaru even had a strahought... Could the sudden shift in the Cloud's strategy be reted to this kid?
"The Shadow e Teique? I give it to you, but... iure, try not to refer to a high-level B-rank ninjutsu as a 'little ninjutsu.'"
Orochimaru immediately took out a scroll and recorded the formu and key points of the Shadow e Teique.
Strictly speaking, B-rank ninjutsu were advaeiques that only jonin could use. How could it be a "little ninjutsu" in Habara's eyes? You couldn't disregard facts when haggling. It was like someone buying a 100-square-meter house; he could ask the seller to throw in a refrigerator, but he couldn't ask them to give him the 60-square-meter house door, too, could he?
But regardless, it was a successful iation.
No one dared to haggle with Orochimaru, but that didn't mean Orochimaru couldn't haggle. For the high and mighty Sannin, haggling over minor details was beh them. Having obtained what he wanted, Orochimaru didn't mind fulfilling Habara's small request.
Of course, Habara wouldn't dare to be too excessive. After receiving this freshly handwritten reward, he felt he should disappear from Orochimaru's sight, as he khat people who overstayed their wele were proo bad luck.
But just as Habara was about to reach the door, Orochimaru suddenly spoke from behind him, "Habara, rompted you to, knowing full well that what you were looking for was nothing but a few corpses, so obediently cross enemy lines and plete this high-difficulty mission?"
Orochimaru khat Habara had seen the missioails in advance.
Those missioails, in fact, had further prompted Habara to gh this mission.
Habara paused. His mind raced while he slowly turned his head.
When Orochimaru could see the Konoha symbol on his forehead protector, he spoke, "Lord Orochimaru, I don't have the right to refuse a mission, do I?"
"You do not."
Orochimaru waved his hand, and this time Habara really did step out and leave.
And even after Habara's figure disappeared, Orochimaru's gaze remained fixed orance of the tent. Then, a smile of unclear meaning appeared on his face.
