The neural trol system transferred Zack’s ands to the massive Titan armor, and in an instant, the eight Singuilum reactors roared to life. A fra of a sed ter, the suit’s right hand ched into a devastating fist and uoward the charging Sara.
BAM! The collisio a deafening shockwave across the battlefield. The hulking bck figure of the Sara was flung like a onball, hurtling hundreds of meters before smming into a distant hillside.
CRASH! The impact carved a massive crater into the hillside, throwing dirt and debris high into the air. Back where Zack stood, the shockwave rippled outward, creating a hurrie-like bst that fttened every zombie within dozens of meters. Dust and smoke swirled, momentarily obsg everything.
When the dust cleared, Zack’s full form was revealed—a t six-meter-tall metal giant dark bck armor that gleamed with a etallic sheen. The Titan was a walking fortress, powered by eight reactors, its bulky frame bristling with ons and armor. “Ah, it feels like putting on a brand-new suit…” Zack muttered, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. The faint, cold st of metal and maery sent a thrill down his spine. When he opened his eyes again, a smirk spread across his face. “Let’s see how it handles,” he said, raising one massive arm.
On the distant hillside, the Sara cwed its way out of the crater, but before it could fully recover, a sharp crack split the air. A brilliant white fsh streaked across the battlefield—a tungsteal kiic warhead fired from the Titan’s arm-mounted railgun. Traveling at Mach 10, the projectile was a blur, visible only as a fsh of light.
The Sara, hit squarely in the chest, was thrown back with incredible force. A gaping hole, the size of a onball, unched through its torso. The projectile didn’t stop there. It tore through the zombies behind the Sara, smashed through trees and buildings, and finally embedded itself in a tree trunk several kilometers away, setting it abze with the heat it carried.
The Sara roared in defiance, bck virus-like fibers writhing us skin. Within seds, the hole in its chest closed, the fibers f a crocodile-skin-like armor across its body. “Roar—!” Its eyes, now glowing red, locked onto Zack, seething with fury.
“The target’s vitality has decreased by 15%,” Ego reported, its voice calm despite the lord’s apparent regeion.
“Energy servation. Makes sense,” Zack said coldly, watg the creature carefully.
The eleagic railguracted into Zack’s arm as he cracked his massive fists, his heavy footfalls crushing any zombies in his path. “Let’s try something new.”
The Sara roared again, bck fibers twisting into massive, oer-long bdes that jutted from its hands. The creature charged, its speed defying its hulking form, and swung one of the glowing bck bdes toward Zack. “Let’s test the Rocket Punch!” Zack’s voice was filled with barely-taiement.
“Activating elbow thrusters,” Ego announced. Zack ched his right fist, and the armor at his elbow slid open, revealing a pact Mark booster jet.
WHOOSH!
A bzing impact beam erupted from the thruster, propelling Zack’s punch with terrifying speed and force. The punch collided with the Sara’s bde.
BOOM! The impact sent out a massive shockwave, shattering the bck bde into tless fragments. The force tinued into the Sara’s arm, obliterating the entire limb in a bloody explosion. Bone, muscle, and virus fibers disied, leaving only a shattered upper arm bone dangling from its shoulder.
The lord’s massive body was unched like a missile, crashing into the ground and killing dozens of zombies as it bounced, skipping across the battlefield like a stone on water before nding in a bloody heap. “Ego, who said Rocket Punch wasn’t practical?” Zack said, his tone a mix of awe and smug satisfa as he admired the aftermath.
Even he was surprised by the sheer power of the attack. The Titan, with its six-meter-tall frame and 11-ton mass, was already a heavyweight, but the Rocket Punch had taken things to another level entirely. “The target’s vitality has decreased by 39%,” Ego reported, skillfully avoiding Zack’s teasing.
The Sara, missing an arm and battered from Zack’s assault, slowly rose from the ground. This time, its red eyes held less fury and more calcution—a chillingly human-like expression of fear. “Roar…” It let out a guttural sound but didn’t charge. Instead, it turned and bolted, tearing through the tide of zombies in a desperate attempt to flee.
“Smart. Even zombies are afraid of death ohey gain some intelligence,” Zack said coldly, watg it retreat.
Without hesitatioivated the Titan’s thrusters. The main boosters under his feet ignited alongside the sedary thrusters on his waist, back, and sides. The bined propulsion lifted the eleven-ton armor effortlessly into the sky. While it cked speed, the Titan's rapid ast was astonishing for its massive size. “Flight pos are stable,” Ego reported, monit the armor’s performance.
“Good. Now, let’s test the buffer system,” Zack said, his tone filled with reckless excitement.
The armor shot up to a height of 2,000 feet before Zack abruptly shifted position. Turning headfirst, he ahe armor into a dive, plummeting straight toward the fleeing Sara. “Sir, this maneuver is highly dangerous. The buffer system remains ued,” Ego cautioned.
“Well, sider this the test!” Zack shouted, fists raised above his head as he hurtled toward the ground at full speed. The Sara stopped abruptly, sensing the impending threat. Its body torted as writhing bck fibers emerged, f a dense, armor-like carapace over its frame. The new yer resembled tank armor, plete with diamond-shaped patterns.
BOOM!
The collision was cataclysmi explosion of light and sound radiated from the impact point, followed by a shockwave that swept away all nearby zombies. When the dust cleared, a crater over teers wide and as deep as a basketball court scarred the battlefield. The ground around it was littered with bck fragments of the Sara’s shell.
At the ter of the crater, the Titan stood slowly, its hulking form emerging unscathed. Despite the incredible force of the impact, the armor’s damage was less than 5%. Protected by two yers of advaing, Zack felt nothing more than a slight jolt. “Well, that works. I’m calling this move the ‘Rocket Headbutt,’” Zack said, brushing debris off the armor’s facepte with a metallid.
“Sir, your naming ventions remain… unique,” Ego replied, its toinged with resignation.
“Ha!” Zack chuckled, his eyes sing the bed fragments scattered across the ground. “Ego, any signs of life?”
“What do you think?” Ego retorted, seizing its ock Zack for once.
While Zack dealt with the Sara, the situation on the front lines grew dire. Without the Fearless Warriors to hold the line, Erza and the depleted meical army faced the full brunt of the zombie tide. Even so, Erza refused to retreat. She trolled two massive fire dragons, one rampaging through the horde to clear paths while the other coiled defensively around her and the remaining soldiers. Despite Zack’s specially designed heat-resistant suit, sweat dripped from her forehead as the mental strain took its toll.
“Hey! You oversized tiger! What are you made of, steel?” Erza shouted, her voice strained as she tried to distract herself from the throbbing pain in her head.
