Chapter 19: The Frenzied Elixir

The ret transformations in Mo Yang had been nothing short of astonishing, leaving the elders of Lingxu Sect feeling deeply perplexed.

The Grand Elder, in particur, had been unusually frustrated over the past few days. The more he observed Mo Yang, the less he seemed to uand him. It was as though Mo Yang had bee pletely unreadable.

Having lived for so many years, the Grand Elder khat Mo Yang’s sudden ges had to have a reason. Especially his mastery of alchemy—it was likely that Mo Yang had entered a highly skilled master. Without such guidahese developments would be impossible to expin.

In the days that followed, the entire Lingxu Sect buzzed with activity. Many disciples were talking about Mo Yang, speg that his impressive cultivation might be lio a particur elixir.

Even Mo Yang himself found the situation troublesome. The pea Wood Peak had been pletely shattered, as tless disciples came flog to him, begging for medie.

What was worse, many of the female disciples came with "other iions."

Su Feier, for instance, had retly undergone an astonishing transformation. Not only had her cultivation advanced signifitly, but she now exuded a certain spiritual charm. Her figure had beore slender and graceful, and her skin was as smooth and delicate as that of a newborn.

It was evident that Mo Yang's medie didn’t just enhane's cultivation—it had beautifying effects as well.

In the sed yer of the Star Sn Tower, Mo Yang sat cross-legged in front of his Creation Cauldron, speaking to himself:

"It seems the matter of the elixirs o longer be hidden. Sihat’s the case, why not take it a step further?"

The saying "A man must a his own i, or else heaven ah will destroy him" guided Mo Yang’s thinking. There was no way he would simply give away his elixirs for free. Now that his alchemy skills had reached new heights, his demand for medial ingredients had grown as well.

The best solution was to exge elixirs for herbs.

On the Xuantian ti, while elixirs were extremely expensive, ordinary herbs were retively cheap and affordable for most disciples.

More importantly, Mo Yang had his eyes on the elders of Lingxu Sect. If he didn’t squeeze some "oil" out of them, he felt he would be letting himself down.

"Just as well, my cultivation has retly broken through to the Tianxuan Realm. I should take some time to solidate my foundation. Pursuing speed too aggressively might backfire."

That very day, a message from Mo Yang spread like wildfire throughout the Lingxu Sect:

Any disciple of the sect could bring herbs to Wood Peak to exge for elixirs.

Alongside the annou, a list began cirg among the disciples. The list detailed three types of elixirs avaible for exge:

  Essehering Pill

  Marrow sing Pill

  Youth Preservation Pill

The list also clearly described the effects of each elixir, as well as the types and quantities of herbs required for the exge.

The entire Lingxu Sect erupted into chaos.

Although some details about Mo Yang’s medies had been iionally withheld by the elders, disciples now realized that he wasn’t dealing in ordinary medie—he rodug elixirs. The revetion hit like a thunderbolt.

"Exge herbs for elixirs? Could Mo Yang actually be an alchemist?"

"The Marrow sing Pill alone is priceless on the market. Where is he getting so many of them? Did he stumble upon some heaven-defying opportunity?"

"Who cares? I’m going to gather herbs and exge for one before it’s too te. If I wait, there might not even be scraps left!"

Within moments, tless disciples left Lingxu Se search of herbs.

Though they couldn’t simply raid the sect’s treasure vault as Mo Yang had, they headed to nearby cities to purchase herbs from apothecaries.

Meanwhile, Mo Yang had opehe gates of his courtyard on Wood Peak.

He set up a table and chair in the small courtyard, filling the table with bottles of elixirs. Seated like a physi treating patients, he looked every bit the part.

Wood Peak quickly became the liveliest p the sect.

Disciples streamed toward the peak, herbs in hand, hoping to exge for elixirs. Eve night, the stoh leading to Wood Peak was crowded with disciples ing and going.

Some female disciples even sold their jade hairpins and other jewelry to raise funds for herbs, just so they could get their hands on an elixir.

In the Main Hall on the sect’s tral peak, a group of elders exged gnces with each other.

"What in the world is going on? Mo Yang has actually set up a shop on Wood Peak, and within a single day, his business has boomed. The sect feels like a marketpow!" pihe Sed Elder, clearly upset.

The First Elder also spoke gravely:

"Lingxu Sect is a cultivatio, not a pharmacy or a market. With this otion, how is anyone supposed to focus oraining?"

He tinued, "Mo Yang took so many herbs from the sect’s treasure vault, and now he’s turhem into elixirs and is selling them within the sect! I believe those elixirs should be fiscated for the be of the sect!"

The Third Elder chuckled. "You two old foxes just want the elixirs for yourselves. Why make so many excuses? Sure, the herbs came from the sect’s vault, but that’s not the point. The point is that Mo Yang has turhem into elixirs, and it’s the disciples who are being. Personally, I find this kid rather iing."

The Grand Elder stroked his beard and added, "The annual Martial Arts Tour of the Four Sects is approag. If our disciples all advan cultivation, we might avoid the embarrassment of pg st again. It’s been five years since Lingxu Sect has held anything but the bottom spot. If we win this time, it would mean a great deal for the sect."

At this, the elders fell silent.

The tour was just a month away. For the past five years, Lingxu Sect had been stu a seemingly cursed state, with no promising talents rising among the younger geion. Every tour had ended with the se st pce.

"If Mo Yang participates, we might actually have a ce at winning this year…" the sect master mused after a moment of thought.

Currently, Mo Yang was already the most powerful disciple in the sect. With his strength, he stood a good ce against the stro disciples from the other three sects.

Of course, not even the Grand Elder khat Mo Yang had already reached the Tianxuan Realm. Among the disciples of the other three sects, no one had achieved that level of cultivation in prior years.

Ba Wood Peak, Mo Yang had closed his doors for the night.

The herbs he had received in exge for elixirs had been moved into the Star Sn Tower, piled into a small mountain.

Walking around the piles of herbs, Mo Yang couldn’t help but rub his hands together iement. "I’m a genius! I even mao gather materials for other elixirs."

At this rate, he would never have to worry about a she of medial ingredients again.

In the following days, Wood Peak grew even livelier.

The efficao Yang’s elixirs had been firmed.

Disciples who had taken the Marrow sing Pill or the Youth Preservation Pill reported dramatic improvements, describing the experience as "rebirth."

Meanwhile, several disciples who had used the Essehering Pill successfully broke through bottlenecks in their cultivation, shog and delighting the elders of Lingxu Sect.

Even the Grand Elder hadn’t anticipated such results. In the sect’s cultivation chambers, dozens of disciples advaheir realms ht. Nearly ten new sed-tier Transdent Realm disciples emerged in a single evening.

Both Qi Heng and Xu Xin, two promi figures among the sect’s disciples, couldn’t resist heading to Wood Peak after hearing that someone had advawo minor realms after taking the Marrow sing Pill.

The allure of such a miraculous elixir was too great for ao ignore.
