Chapter 38: “Dreams Come True…” – Part 3.

“That’s all I am to you, Sylvie. A pretty face and a sex object.” Casey jokingly grumbled, “Here I am encouraging this behavior by spreading myself…” She ughed, “...all over your cutely dimpled lips.” Casey felt an unnatural loving shiver sparkle down her spine, “Oh, that was really unfair…” Casey dipped her long hair into the stream of steamy hot water. “...you can’t use that all night. I was only being pyful, cheater. It felt lovely all the same.” Casey purred and trailed off.

Anticipating that Casey would make a small yet half-serious comment about her sensuality and sexuality, Sylvie used her master’s connection to the young vampress in order to dissipate any question of how Sylvie truly felt about her wife. “I did cheat, and I am proud of it.” Sylvie ughed and pressed out her cobalt colored dress. Admiring the embroidery that came with a little gold butterfly on the right side, Sylvie used her undead fingers to ftten out the long shirt colr. Once satisfied, Sylvie unzipped the dress and stepped into it, pulling the tight fitting mermaid dress over her frame that outlined what few curves the vampire had. Sylvie spun once and giggled as the gown portion of her dress gave the formal garment a hint of an ‘A’ frame that broke up the tight image. Quickly pulling the three-quarter sleeves into pce Sylvie opened her shoe closet and picked a set of gold-bck sparkling heeled shoes and one at a time, wiggled her stockinged feet into the leather shoes. “I proved for close to a year that I wanted to be close to you, know you…” Sylvie walked over to their dresser and began pulling the cute blue bows that she’d left in her hair since her race around the huge department store months before. “I don’t let anyone just put baby blue bows in my hair.”

“I can’t be too upset, Taini.” Casey offered lightly, “I am the one that said I wanted to stay naked all night and then …” She cleared her throat with a little ‘ahem’ then finished her banter, “...enhanced your lips.” There were many things that Casest disliked about her beauty and how guys and girls alike fawned over her, but Sylvie had never once looked at her like she was just a little trophy woman.

-Beauty can be both a curse and joy. How the hell does Vivienne live with it?-

Tonight was not one of self-reflection Casey quickly told herself and sent the thought and question to the recesses of her mind. “Vanil and honey was it?” Casey pyed. “I have cucumber and jasmine. I have citrus and almond…” Casey trailed off and then ughed, “...you know we have lots of almond things in here, it’s strange…”

Laughing when Casey found herself swapping from her little tease into an errant thought, Sylvie knew that her youngling was in fact adapting to her unlife better than she’d ever hoped. “Lost your train of thought did you? Over an almond?” Sylvie snickered and walked around the room without making a sound and nodded to herself when she saw the glittery reflections of her shoes stick to the wall like the sun were passing across the sky. “Okay fairy princess the room is all yours. I know how you spread your beauty care like a butterfly opening its wings.” Sylvie ughed and delicately made her way into the living room and turned on the television.

“Oh look at that. I found the scents you wanted, vanil and honey.” Casey snickered and she walked through the living room in a fluffy white towel and still mostly dripping wet. “You…” Casey’s breath caught as she stared at the combo form fitting and flowing gown. “...and the gloss..” She purred and stepped closer to her wife and whispered close enough to her ear that Casey knew it would tickle Sylvie alluringly. “Honey-bee reporting for…mmmm…” Casey took a step back and raised her well-groomed eyebrows. “Well?”

Even though most of her request for Casey to be stunning hadn’t been accomplished, it took all the strength she had to not tackle her spouse and turn that towel and her own formal gown to little pieces and forgo the events that had been pnned. “I…” Sylvie stammered backward and almost snapped the heel off her glittery shoes. “D-didn’t you just say that y-you didn’t want to be a sex object?” Sylvie held her breath and stumbled her way to the bubble bar and pulled out a bottle of blood, taking a quick and soothing sip.

“I feel your excitement, and it’s split. Anticipation and hormonal, they are in a little battle with one another.” Casey walked over to Sylvie and grabbed the bottle of blood and took a few sips as well. “Taini.” Casey winked and handed her partner back the blood, “I know you, hell I feel you both physically and emotionally.” Casey pushed the towel down to reveal her own tattoo of her third eye. Mimicking the same eye of Horus, Casey had kept as close as possible to Sylvie’s look, and rather than using gold rays, Casey asked Jason to put in soft white streaks in the effort to make her tattoo to appear like a lunar eclipse. “I don’t question you, my Taini.” Casey nibbled on Sylvie’s ear then spun off to their room. “However, I will gdly tease and leave you wanting.”

A quick look over her dress, Sylvie shook off the water that had been lightly sprayed in Casey’s flourished exit, “You better hope this dries without a stain, girlie.” Sylvie finished the bottle and held the image of Casey’s tattoo in her mind, imagining them atop one another, perfect complements of one another. “I still love how long your hair has gotten, you look amazing.”

  “I know.” Casey quipped.

Content to leave her wife alone to get dressed, Sylvie flipped the channels until she found the news cast she was looking for and smiled when she saw Cisco’s face on screen. “...The people of Colonial Heights have little to worry about, Twilight Construction has already been granted the permits to rebuild and because of the tragic breakdown in infrastructure, we will be working closely with Commonwealth Gas to ensure that nothing like this can happen again.” Sylvie nodded and set the remote on the table and silently mouthed the words as Cisco did them on screen. “We’ve been working diligently to get homes rebuilt and have completed most of the north end of the city.” Cisco then revealed his project boards. “That is just the homes, city infrastructure and businesses are already open in some spots. City Hall, the Courthouses, Two Elementary schools and the High school were priority and have been approved to reopen by the end of January.” When the clip cut back to the station and switched to the weather, Sylvie turned off the television.

“I heard.” Casey offered while sounding a bit muffled. “Cisco said that word for word. I assume that was with a little help from you, my darling?” Casey threw her hair towel on the bed and grabbed her solid silver brush and began working out the knots. “I still can’t believe that you are having a ballroom dance for the grand reopening of After Dark.”

Padding her way back into their bedroom, Sylvie took the brush from Casey and began working it through her strawberry locks. “I thought the concept was fun and by Cassiopeia’s stars, we needed a break for a little fun.” Sylvie stopped brushing. “Braid or no?”

“Let the curls run free, Sylvie.” Casey ughed and leaned back into Sylvie’s arms. “You know I like it up when hunting or just messing around here. You have made this formal thing like prom night, so I have little accents on the dresser for the occasion.”
