Harry and Daph at a secluded table in the Scarlet Devil Mansion’s grand library, surrounded by t bookshelves that stretched into the dimly lit expanse above. dles flickered softly, their golden glow casting long shadows across the aomes they had gathered. Both were deeply engrossed in their reading—Daphne flipping through a book on Underworld politics, while Harry studied a text on advanced magical theory.
Suddenly, the air around them shifted. A pulse of magic, subtle but undeniable, sent a shiver down their spines. Before either could react, a familiar voice rang out.
"There you are! No time to expin—we o go. Now."
Harry barely had time to look up before Luna materialized beside them, her presenmistakable even in her human form. Her expression was calm, but there was an urgen her eyes that left no room fument.
Daphne raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Luna, we just got fortable. Surely whatever it is wait—"
Luna didn’t give her a ce to finish. With a flick of her wrist, the books in their hands vanished, returning themselves ly to the shelves with a soft whoosh.
"ime’s up. I let you two have your fun, but ces to be, and I am not waiting for you to finish ‘just one more page.’ Daylight is burning and we only have a limited amount of summer vacation." Luna decred, pnting her hands on her hips.
Harry sighed, already used to Luna’s whims, and stood up. "Alright, alright. But we at least know where we’re going?"
"Away," she answered simply, before reality twisted, and the three of them vanished in a swirl of dreamlike silver light.==================
The silver light of Luna’s magic faded, and in an instant, Harry, Daphne, and Luna found themselves standing inside an ornate, warmly lit hall. Golden nterns hung from the ceiling, casting soft illuminatiohe polished wooden floors. The air was thick with the st of inse and foxfire magic, tinged with the faint hum of powerful wards woven into the very walls.
Harry blinked as he took in their sudden ge of surroundings. "You really o stop doing that without warning," he muttered, straightening his cloak.
Guards suddenly rush in as the wards trigger before shattering.
Before anyone could react, a deafening crack echoed through the hall as the pace’s protective wards shattered like brittle gss. A pulse of raw energy rippled through the air, sending a flicker of uhrough even the most seasoned of warriors.
The guards, ornate armor infused with foxfire magic, stormed into the chamber, their ons drawn and eyes bzing with suspi. The golden fmes lig at their bdes made it abundantly clear—they were prepared to fight.
"Intruders!" one of them barked, tails bristling as he leveled a spear at them.
Luna held up her hands, a calm but firm presen the midst of chaos. "Now, now, let's not jump to clusions. The wards shattered because of a happy little act?”
Daphne instinctively stepped in front of Harry, one hand ghosting toward her wand. Harry, meanwhile, tensed, his fiwitg near his own hidden on.
The lead guard narrowed his eyes. "No one bypasses Lady Yasaka’s wards without permission. Expin yourselves—now!"
Before Luna could reply, a voice cut through the tension like a bde through silk.
"Stand down."
The air itself seemed to bow as Yasaka ehe hall, her golden kimono catg the light, her tails fanning out behind her like a divine halo. She walked with the grace of a ruler who did not o demand authority—it was simply hers.
The guards immediately stepped back, though they did not lower their ons pletely. Their eyes flickered between Yasaka and the ued visitors.
Yasaka’s gaze swept over them, lingering on Luna. "You disrupted my home why are you here?”
Luna lowered her hands, Yasaka a disarming smile. "Apologies for the mess, Lady Yasaka. We meant no harm—your wards simply weren’t designed for someone of my po… nature." She gestured vaguely at herself, as if that alone expined everything. "As for why we’re here, well, we need proper supernatural travel dotation, and who better to hahat than the Queen of Kyoto herself?"
Daphill tense from the enter, gnced warily at the guards, who hadn’t fully lowered their ons. "And given how strict the supernatural world is with borders, we figured it was best to gh the proper els rather than, say… actally breaking more things."
Harry sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I told you we should’ve sent a owl first."
Yasaka studied them for a long moment before letting out a soft chuckle, “ A Owl are you from one of those backwards wizard encves? Would you send it on an part drawn with a quill?” before the golden haired fox woman breakout into full belly ughter.
“Yes! You get it!” Luna cheers.
Yasaka pauses as she looks at the three intruders. “No, there is no possible way the three of you are too powerful to be ordinary witches and a wizard.”
Luna took a step forward, a pyful smirk dang on her lips as she dramatically flourished her hand. "Hello, allow me to introduce myself, some say I am a Mare of wealth and taste," she purred, her voice carrying an almost musical lilt. "I've been around for a long, long year, stole many a soul to waste... though, I assure you, only the particurly deserving ones."
Harry groaned, rubbing his temples. "Luna, please—this is not the time for musical references."
Daphne just sighed. "You’re enjoying this way too much."
The blond girl pouts before looking up at Yasaka “I am princess Luna of Equestria.” Luna states introdug herself causing the entier room to bee erriely silent.
“Impossible no one has heard from Equestria since before the Fae withdrew from the world!” Yaska shouts.
Harry and Daphne exged gnces, sensing that this was quickly being something bigger than just supernatural travel dotation.
Yasaka took a step forward, her golden eyes narrowing. "You cim to be Princess Luna, but the Equestrian realm has been silent for turies. The Fae gates closed, and none who remained in this world ever spoke of it again."
Luna crossed her arms, her expression turning serious. "Equestria still exists, but I… am uo return. The magic of Harmony locked me out." Her gaze sharpened. "But you—you know something about what happened, don’t you?"
Yasaka hesitated, her tails flickering. The guards in the room seemed uain now, their priression giving way to curiosity and apprehension.
Finally, Yasaka let out a slow breath. "Prove you are who you say you are first.”
