Kototuri the Golem, fully awaken and brought to life, looks around to see who is in the room. The Golem looks down to see Shokei and her party being defensive as they are about to face against the monster. The Golem makes its first move by using one of his arms to ram a direct fist to the floor.

  "Watch out!" Shokei tells her party.

  The party jumps out of the way when the Golem's fist nds down on the ground. The party takes immediate action to fight the Golem.

  "Icicle Sorcery!" Sadako casts out.

  Sadako used her ice magic against the Golem. The monster felt the ice element damaging its body as the dagger-type icicles try to penetrate the Golem's defenses. The attack did slight damage as it was not effective.

  "No! My spell did nothing on this stoned creep!!" Sadako said.

  "Then we're going to put some muscle against this enemy." Rei said to her.

  Obsidian and Ferron are about to attack the Golem with their swords out. The Golem fought back against them and used an Occult Sandstorm by breathing out sand from his mouth. The two guys are caught by the monster's sand attack as they went off-guard into going the enemy. The sandy current made the pair blinded.

  "Ahhh! I can't see!" Obsidian cried out.

  "Tch! Me too." Ferron said, as he feels the sand going in his eyes.

  Rei and Lei are working on a strategy to take down the Golem. Seeing how tall the monster is, they look around for heavy objects that they can throw against the enemy. Rei looks at the piles of heavy rocks scattered around the big room that they are in.

  "Lei!" Rei calls out to her ally. "We can use these rocks to batter that golem."

  "Good idea Rei." Lei said, going along with her pn.

  Rei goes to where the nearest big rock is and she used her strength to lift up the rock. Lei used her telekinetic powers to lift up a pile of big rocks that are near her. With the projectile of rocks on them, both girls threw the rocks at the Golem. The monster sees the rocks are targeting directly to where it stands and he counters by using his fists to destroy the rocks. The girls can see that the Golem has defended itself from being harmed by the rocks.

  "Not good!" Rei said, disappointed that her pn failed on her.

  "We're going to need a better strategy." Lei said to her.

  Toyama makes his move and he charged towards the Golem. The monster can see him coming and tries to strike him with a fist. Toyama rolls out of the way and then attacks him with his sword. The Golem is hit by his sword as Toyama makes a two-way hit. The Golem counters back by using his other arm to knock him back to the floor.

  Shokei rushes up to the Golem to attempt on striking down the monster. The Golem looks to see that Shokei is charging right up to him. The enemy used his big heavy foot to kick Shokei. She dodged the attack as soon as she sees it coming, leaping backwards away from the attack. As soon as Shokei nds on her feet, she rushes forward to make another attempt to strike at the Golem. Suddenly, the Golem traps her by its hand, grabbing her whole body in a grip.

  "Ahhhh! Nooo!!" Shokei cries out as she felt her body being squeezed by the monster's grip. "Ugh!!"

  "Shokei!" Rei calls out to her.

  "Nnnngh!! Help me!" Shokei shouted to her party, feeling the monster trying to crush her. "I can't budge out from the Golem's grip!!"

  "Hang in there! We'll get you out of that Golem's grasp!!" Ferron said.

  Rei is trying to find some way to take down the Golem. Mizuki looks at the Golem with Shokei being captive by its grasp.

  Maybe if we go for the legs...that might do it! Mizuki thought to herself. Then she said to her party. "Everyone! Aim for its legs!"

  The party listened to Mizuki and then they target the monster's legs. Kototuri sees the party coming and the monster did something else. The monster charges energy from its hand and then he sms the ground with an open palm, using a terrain move, Tremor Quake. The party can see that the enemy's quake attack is causing a big reaction as they feel the ground shaking rapidly.

  "Woaaaaaaah, w-w-what t-the!!!" Mizuki said, losing her bance and falls over.

  "N-nooooo f-freaking waaaaaayyyy!!!" Lei shrieked as she felt the ground shaking beneath.

  "Huh?!" Ferron looks up at the ceiling. "L-look o-out!!"

  The party can see that there are rocks falling down below them. Everyone moves out of the way as soon as the big piles of rocks are about to touch the floor. The rocks crumbles into pieces as it breaks onto the floor. The quake sted for two minutes.

  After the enemy's quake has stopped, Shokei's party continues to rescue Shokei from being at the mercy of the Golem. Kototuri used its other hand to attack the party. Rei rushes up to the monster by pulling off a drill flying kick and aims her way toward the monster's chest. The Golem takes the hit in the chest as the force of the kick made him stumble backwards. The kick did enough force to hit its body.

  Obsidian and Ferron both went after the Golem's legs as they ssh the target with their weapons. The Golem felt his legs being under attack as it takes hit by the sharp bdes that is cutting its skin. The Golem was unable to grip onto Shokei for long and the monster loses its grip, letting Shokei break free from its hand. She nds on her feet and quickly regroups with her party.

  "Finally, I'm loose from that big creep!" Shokei said, feeling gd to move again.

  The Golem is being damaged by Obsidian and Ferron as they both work together on attacking the monster's legs. The Golem is still unbanced as it feels its legs are taking damage. Lei looks around to find a big rock. The rock is ten times the size and is big enough to attack the monster. Using her telekinetic powers, Lei lifts and hurls the heavy rock towards the Golem.

  "Incoming!" Lei shouted.

  Obsidian and Ferron stopped attacking and turns to see a huge rock being aimed and they both moved out of the way. The Golem can see that the rock is aimed directly, but it failed to defend itself in time. The enormous rock hits the enemy with force and sends him back to the floor.

  The party can see that Kototuri the Golem is covered under a big rock that Lei had thrown at the enemy. The Golem breaks out from the rock and is trying to recover from the critical damage that the enemy was dealt with. The armor that the Golem had on its body has been broken. Seeing that the armor is battered and destroyed, the party can see the advantage as the enemy is weak from the attack.

  "Looks like the Golem's defenses is down." Shokei said. "We should be able to take care of this monster now."

  "Allow me!" Sadako said.

  Sadako gets herself in position. She builds up energy and then she charges for her next magic attack to take care of the Golem. She focuses her magic with fusion, and she combines two of her magic spells. Once she is fully charged with energy, Sadako is all set to pull off her combination attack in action.

  "Sharp Breeze Rock Assault!!"

  Sadako casts out her spell. The spell is combined into a hurricane effect, as it swirled with sharp rocks. The attack is heading straight towards the Golem. Shokei and her party watch as the Golem is unable to move and gets trapped by Sadako's fusion spell. The sharp rocks are mixing around with the breeze of the hurricane and the attack damages the Golem around its body. The Golem received enough damage after it takes the painful hits.

  "This is it!" Rei said. "We should be able to defeat this beast in no time."

  "Hmm?"

  Shokei looks down on her Mithrodin. Her sword feels a sense of spiritual energy building inside. She feels the grip of her bde as she sensed a sign of familiar energy flowing into her body. She senses the spirit, Beltine, inside and then the bde of her sword shines with white light.

  Emissary of Light...let us put away this hideous creature to rest with the power of light!

  Building enough energy inside, Shokei's sword shines brightly. Shokei opens her eyes and feels the flow of her sword with power. Then, she wields around the sword and then positions herself in a thrust position by holding her weapon back. She gets ready as she faces the Golem for the final blow.

  "Style...Execution!!"

  Shokei dashes right after the Golem. Then, she jumps and sshes her sword in a slicer fashion and sends out a shockwave against the monster. The Golem feels the wave of the ultimate attack and its body has been spilt in half. The body of the monster is destroyed by the white light and then it disintegrates, wiping the monster out of its misery. Shokei nded after she has pulled off her ultimate attack and sees that Kototuri the Golem is killed on the spot. The energy from the sword fades out as the Mithrodin sword returns back to its normal state.

  "All right!!" Lei said happily and cheered. "We did it!!"

  "Yes!" Rei said with gdness. "Good job, Shokei!"

  "Woah...what strength..." Toyama said, mindblown by Shokei's attack. "Where did that come from?"

  "At least we defeated the Golem." Sadako said. "But that light though..."

  "Impressive..." Ferron said.

  Shokei and her party can see that the Golem is no more, and they look at the spot to where it was st seen. Then, Shokei looks to see that there is something shining from the area to where the Golem was standing. There appears to be a yellowish shine that has a bright glow.

  "Hey, what's that?" Rei asked, pointing out.

  Shokei walks over to take a look. Her eyes became alert and then she sees the shining object that is on the ground. There lies the second gem to which the guardian held on to.

  "This...this is it..." Shokei said, holding the key item in her hands. "The Sand Gem."

  Holding the gem in her hand, the rest of the party goes over to take a closer look at the gem in Shokei's hands.

  "Wow...its beautiful..." Lei said, staring at the gem.

  "Amazing..." Mizuki said, seeing the gem up close. "I never seen anything unique like this before."

  "Finally..." Sadako said. "We got the most important item that we have been looking for."

  Shokei nodded. Then, her mind felt a sign of faint as she knees down.

  "S-Shokei?!" Rei calls out to her. "Shokei?!"

  "Uh...uhhhh..." Shokei feels her thoughts going bnk as she passes out.

  "Shokei!" Mizuki calls out to her. She held Shokei in her arms.

  "Oh no!!" Obsidian said, fearing the worst. "She fainted."

  "W-what's happening?!" Lei asked. "W-what is this?!"

  "Shokei!!!" Rei calls out to her.

  The party tries to call out to Shokei as they saw her passing out.

  Shokei is unconscious as she holds the gem in her hand. Through her mind, she is now in a trance as she finds herself in an unforeseen area where the clouds are yellow, and the floor is cloudy. Shokei looks around to see that it was her and her alone in the unparalleled world.

  "Shokei..." a voice calls out to her.

  Shokei pipes up to hear the spirit Beltine talking to her. She turns around and then sees the spirit present to her eyes.

  "You..." Shokei said.

  "Emissary...we meet again..." Beltine greets her. "It appears that fate has brought us here once again."

  Shokei and Beltine stared at each other for a minute. Then, Shokei looks around the environment that she finds herself in and then looks back at the spirit.

  "I'm...I'm just the only one here..." Shokei said to her.

  "That is true..." Beltine said. "I know your allies are concerned, but I must thank you for finding the Sand Gem in your possession."

  Shokei hears this and nodded.

  "Listen carefully Emissary." Beltine said to her. "The dark forces are becoming serious in the way of your journey. Yes, you have encountered the vicious being's terrible trap that you and your allies have to go through. You must not let the Necromutants succeed in the way of stopping you."

  Shokei listened.

  "You are going through the same moments to which the Hero in the Dark Age era have gone through in finding the sacred gems." The spirit continued. "The Hero had more than just a battle against our enemies. The Necromutants have seen the Hero has a threat and are willing to prevent the Hero in pursuit for the gems. The Great War was one of the most reckless times that the Dark Age had to endure. The Hero fought against powerful beings that the dark forces brought to the devastating worlds. As your quest moves on, you must be fully aware of the dangers that are yet to come within your quest for peace."

  "Understandable." Shokei said to her, looking down on the important item she holds. "It was rough into finding the Sand Gem, but it was no easy task into obtaining this."

  "It was not just you that lead the way into finding the gem, but your allies have guided you the way to where you are." Beltine said. "Never forget that your allies are in your dilemma, and they will follow you into the fight against the dark forces."

  "Yes." Shokei said. "As long as they're with me, they won't let me down."

  "Now then..." Beltine said. "Emissary, look at your map."

  Shokei takes her map out and looks at it. Beltine lifts her hand and then a speed of light touches the map. Shokei feels the glow being put on the map and then she can see that a new location of the next gem is indicated.

  "You must journey further into the continent of Euna." Beltine tells her. "You need to find the Terrain Gem that is hidden within this forest. I know that you, Emissary, is able to find the gems hidden in this world. And you must never lose the gems to the dark forces at all costs."

  "Yes." Shokei nodded. "I understand."

  "It's time that we must depart from each other..." Beltine said. "Farewell, Emissary."

  Beltine leaves the scene as she vanishes. After she left, Shokei feels herself passing out as she fades into the darkness. Then, Shokei felt the disturbance of voices that are calling out her name and then she suddenly wakes up in surprise after being put out in a deep unconsciousness.

  "S-Shokei!!" Rei calls out to her.

  "Shokei! You're up!" Sadako said, feeling gd to see her up.

  "Uhhh..." Shokei rubs her eyes as she awakens. She gets up from the floor, regaining consciousness to see her party once again.

  "What happened?" Rei asked her.

  "I..." Shokei tries to say something but rubs her forehead as she felt her head hurting a little.

  "Take your time." Rei said to her. "I know that something must have happened to you when you passed out."

  "Was it the power of the gem too strong for her to hold on to?" Ferron asked.

  "I'm not so sure." Rei replied. "But she held the Sand Gem without any problems."

  "Maybe there was a force that caused her to pass out." Mizuki said.

  "Ok." Shokei said as she recovers her thoughts to see her party.

  "Tell us Shokei." Rei said to her and asked. "What just happened to you?"

  "I was in a trance." Shokei replied. "When I touched that gem, I passed out unexpectedly. Then, I saw Beltine the Spirit in my view."

  "Beltine?" Mizuki asked, hearing the name the first time.

  "You did?" Rei asked. "You saw her? But how?"

  "I felt I was in an unknown world, separated from here." Shokei said. "I had a talk with Beltine as she acknowledged our efforts in finding the Sand Gem...then, she left a mark on my map, indicating where I need to go for the next gem."

  "Really?" Lei asked. "You're not making all this up, aren't you?"

  "No...better yet..." Shokei takes her map out and inspects it.

  The party comes over to see Shokei with her map out.

  "There!" Shokei said, pointing out the location. "The spirit indicated the location of the next gem."

  "Hmmm..." Rei looks at the map and sees the location. "So, that's where it's found."

  "Yes." Shokei said. "Beltine said that our next gem is the Terrain gem found in a forest."

  "Then we have to head to that continent to find this gem." Obsidian said.

  "Looks like it." Rei said.

  "That reminds me..." Mizuki recalled. "We should return back to the statue where the true princess is held captive inside."

  "Right!!" Toyama said. "We must not wait long here! Let's head back while we can!"

  The party starts to leave the area as they have already accomplished their goal in retrieving the Sand Gem. As Shokei heads for the exit, Rei comes over and whispers to her.

  "Hey!" Rei whispered to her. "If I recall that location on the map looks familiar to us, don't you think?"

  "I know..." Shokei said, keeping her voice down in a personal matter.

  "I mean...we escaped this content a long time..." Rei whispered. "You don't think..."

  "I rather not." Shokei quickly interrupted. "It's been years and I think we left there for the right reasons."

  Rei hears her say this and then nodded slightly.

  "Anyways, let's get out of this pce." Rei said.

  The party makes their way for the exit as they are all leaving the Sacred Sanctuary.
