The system is telling me to kill this thing. I find an unnatural motivation to do it. I would kill it nonetheless because it's kinda goofy but still.
Now, how do I get there? Stepping out of the bed, I now had to find a way to get out of the hospital. I swiftly left the hospital room which put me in a new corridor. I saw no one so without hesitation, I dashed out of there. Reaching the elevator, I spammed the button, my foot tapping anxiously. The elevator took three minutes and 28 seconds to reach my floor, the 19th floor 300 meters up in the air. I rushed inside the elevator. If I looked more carefully before entering though, I know I would've ran away.
Inside the elevator I saw him. The man with blonde hair, brown eyes and pink lips. The man who saved me. When he saw me, he pushed me into the elevator wall making it shake. It was a cssic Kabedon, very shocking for me. He touched my lips, licked his own lips and then said:
"I'll win you over."
I was so shocked that my fist smashed into the elevator wall, and in the next second, I was airborne—plummeting from the 19th floor. It was here I learnt I could survive a 200 meter fall. Instead of falling to my death, I glided. The city blurred beneath me as I drifted, wind whipping past my face. This didn't lead me all the way to the portal though, so I entered a near taxi. Jazz music pyed softly. The driver gnced at me through the rearview mirror. The driver asked me "Where to?" and I answered "To the portal!". The driver didn't hesitate to kick me out of the cab. Back on foot, I sprinted toward the massive glowing portal. At least I was getting some cardio in.
When I reached the portal, three demons had escaped. The military stood no chance so I started my quest. I dashed up the first demon’s leg, gripping onto its rough skin. My fists hitting its body. I saw hit points saying 3, 2, 4, 2, 4, 1, 0. Damage numbers fshed above its head. It had 2,000 HP. This was going to take a while. The demon swung back, its massive fist colliding with me.
-1100 HP, my HP had dropped from 10000 to 8900.
I continued hitting the demon. 3, 1, 2, 4, 5, 3...
CRITICAL HIT
That critical hit dealt only fifteen damage. Pathetic. But then, another number appeared beneath it.
1.
I had no idea what that meant, but I kept hitting. The battle actually became fun. The demon was helpless against me. I got another critical hit in. Yet another fifteen damage but this time,
2.
Strange. But I didn’t have time to think about it because someone else arrived. A figure soared through the air, nding effortlessly on one of the demons. He looked about twenty, bck hair slightly tousled by the wind. Blue eyes, mewing ahh chin, and—was that designer clothing? AND THAT FROM GANT!!! He nded on one of the demons.
One. Two. Three. Four.
He then jumped to the next one and four hits ter, it died. Meanwhile, I kept punching, the single digits numbers floated around me, making me think my efforts were in vain, but…
CRITICAL HIT
When I nded my third critical hit, the demon surprisingly crumbled. As soon as it died, the portal reacted. A deafening hum filled the air as it began to close. A shockwave exploded outward, hitting me like a freight train. The force sent me flying straight through the hospital window. Gss shattered around me, and I crashed back into my hospital bed.
Perfect Landing.
The door creaked open and my doctor walked in. “I have some bad news about your state—”. Before he could finish, he saw the state of the room...
To be continued.
