Chapter 1: Izayoi, the Talent Trait System

  The Ninja Academy has three terms per year: the first term runs from April 1st to mid-July, the second term from early September to the end of December, and the third term from early January to the end of March.

  Konoha Year 54, April 1st.

  The Ninja Academy welcomed the first term of the new school year.

  The sixth-year students had already graduated at the end of March. They either became official Genin, returned to repeat the year, were specially recruited by certain departments, or dropped out and gave up on being ninjas.

  Students in other grades officially moved up to the next level today.

  The vacated first-year cssrooms were about to welcome the new students who had passed the entrance examination.

  Izayoi was one of them.

  Yet, when he first obtained the Talent Trait System, he only had a single trait: Chunin Aptitude (Green).

  But at the age of three, Izayoi achieved a heaven-defying change of fate, becoming the most talented prodigy of this era since then.

  In terms of talent, in this era, there were only those as strong as him, none stronger.

  The ranking of Talent Traits: White, Green, Blue, Purple, Gold, Red.

  This ranking wasn't provided by the system but was figured out by Izayoi himself through exploration. He was quite certain that ranks existed above Red. As for what color they might be, Izayoi didn't know yet.

  The function of the Talent Trait System is to allow the Host to acquire the talent traits of others.

  The methods of acquisition, also discovered through exploration, were currently known to be two:

  One: Defeating an opponent. In an equal match-up, there's a high probability of obtaining a low-tier trait and a very small probability of obtaining a high-tier trait. If defeating someone stronger (subordinate overcoming superior), there's a very high probability of obtaining a high-tier trait and a 100% chance of obtaining a low-tier trait. In a crushing victory (overwhelming the opponent), there's a very small probability of obtaining either a low-tier or high-tier trait.

  Two: The second acquisition method was the Starter Pack from the Talent Trait System, which granted a one-time free opportunity for Izayoi to copy a specific talent trait from someone else.

  Upon learning he had transmigrated into the Naruto world – a world he was obsessed with during his student days – and was born on June 16th, Konoha Year 48, making him the same age as the Konoha 9, Izayoi had almost unhesitatingly pnned to use this Starter Pack opportunity on Naruto Uzumaki.

  After all, Naruto was the protagonist of this world and this era.

  As long as Naruto possessed a trait reted to Ashura or the Sage Body, Izayoi just needed to copy it to immediately gain immense potential.

  Besides Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha was also an excellent choice. Also a reincarnation of a Son of the Sage (Indra), inheriting the Sage Eyes from Hagoromo ōtsutsuki.

  As long as they realized their potential, they were bound to become Beyond Kage level powerhouses. Once they received the power transmitted by the Sage of Six Paths, they could even break through the limits that Hashirama and Madara never reached, becoming Six Paths level beings.

  On Earth, in this era, no one had stronger potential than them.

  But... what about outside of Earth?
