The cssroom was noisy as Collin poured saline solution into a silver bowl infront of him. He had on bck pid pants, a white church shirt with the school crest, timbernd boots, a purple tie, b coat, gloves, and safety goggles.Walking around and observing them was their chemistry teacher Mrs. Avery. Next to Collin was Elmer's glue and baking soda as he dumped the chemicals into the bowl.
"Slime is a cross-linked polymer made of long chains of molecules that are held together by weak bonds," Mrs. Avery expined.
He gnced at his teacher and realized she looked normal. Nothing stood out here as he thought about Ms. Wrangler, she was a hybrid living peacefully in the mortal world. All this fantasy stuff was still pretty confusing for Collin as he poured and stirred blue food coloring into the bowl. Sci-fi makes more sense to him.
1 hour ter, Collin visited the hospital with his mom, dad, and boyfriend. He had on sport shorts, a striped long-sleeve graphic-t, and Converse sneakers. After talking with the receptionist they head towards the elevators and go to the 7th floor. Collin's brother and sister were in the recreational room as two doctors followed them around, since their illness was a mystery they were tested a lot and had to do physical therapy.
"Mom, dad, Collin!" Inaya dropped the wooden puzzle piece in her hand and stood up.
Ezra was holding a medicine ball as he gently sat it on the ground and took a deep breath. "Hey."
"We wanted to see how you were doing," his dad said.
One of the doctors walked over to them. "Hello, Mrs. and Mr. Rex. Your children are doing great and we concluded their sudden illness was due to stress."
They gnced at each other as his mom spoke. "I see, thank you for all your help."
"Of course! It's our job to make sure our patients are taken care of," the doctor expined. Inaya and Ezra should be released from the hospital within 5 days."
The other doctor smiled. "We'll let you catch up."
After the doctors left the room Rafhael spoke. "I'm gd you guys are feeling better."
"Same," Collin agreed.
Ezra gave Collin a friendly punch on the arm and sat on the couch. "We heard you won another football game."
"Yeah," he answered. "Mom video taped it."
"So, how long have you two been dating?" Inaya asked Rafhael.
His boyfriend guessed with a smile. "2 years?"
"Okay, whats the first thing your gonna do once you leave the hospital?" Collin asked as he pulled up his stats. "University?"

While everybody else talked Collin gazed at his stats and thought. 49 points to Endurance, 46 points to Strength, and the rest can evenly go into special abilities. After confirming his choice all his stats lit up as his level changed from D to C and he unlocked two more techniques.

Later that night, the gym was decorated as music pyed. Collin was dressed in bck scks and a checkered church shirt with checkered sneakers. The song that pyed was Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado as students danced. At the DJ stand was his friend Lucan and dancing with Helena was Hero.
While his other friend Grace was dancing with someone from the basketball team. Rafhael had on bck scks, a floral church shirt with skulls, and bck boots. After 30 minutes they took pictures and got sodas from the vending machine. Right now, a country song was pying as Collin talked with his friends.
"Hey Helena, are you coming to Grace's Halloween party?" someone asked.
"If I'm invited," Helena answered.
Grace smiled and waved. "Sure, no problem."
"What about you, Collin?" said his childhood friend.
Collin replied. " I guess a skeleton. Yo Hero, what you gonna be?
"Someone from Mortal Kombat," Hero grinned.
15 minutes ter, the song changed to Bad by Michael Jackson as a circle formed on the dance floor. Collin and his friends went over and saw a guy krump. Next, a girl belly-danced and a guy popped and locked. Grace joined and showed off her dance moves which were pretty versatile. That's when Helena jumped in and did some breakdancing, everyone was shocked she achieved that in an old-fashioned dress.
