Chapter 2: We Meet Again!

"Ah..." Diana sighed with relief as she closed her textbooks.

After a long time studying for the exams and finally, it's over. The weight of stress lifted off her shoulders, repced by the thrill of the upcoming holiday season. She decided it was time to seek out something thrilling and embrace the holiday season.

Diana received an invitation to a birthday dinner party from her best friend, Alice. Excited, she gnced at the watch and realized she needed to buy a gift. Thinking about what to buy for her, remembering Alice's admiration for a particur handbag at the corner shop, Diana knew exactly what to get.

As she made her way to the corner shop, suddenly a guy knocked her off and she lost bance.

  "Huh..." she muttered, steadying herself.

The man quickly grabbed her waist, concern on his face. "Sorry, are you okay?"

  Diana nodded, "Yes, I'm fine."

The man's gaze lingered on her, captivated by her beauty. He smiled, apologized once more, and walked away.

Diana continued to do her shopping, purchased the handbag, and eagerly anticipated the night's birthday party. She couldn't wait to celebrate with Alice.

Night fell, and Diana arrived at Alice's birthday party with a spring in her step. She wondered who she might encounter at Alice's birthday party.

As soon as she walked in, Alice greeted her warmly. "Diana! It's winter now, why are you dressed so lightly?" Alice teased, pulling out a coat from her bag and covering it over Diana's shoulders.

"I just wanted to look pretty," Diana replied with a shy smile.

Alice shook her head. "You'll catch a cold for looking good. Have you eaten? The party starts at 8 pm, and it's still early."

Diana shook her head. "Not yet."

Alice called her servant to prepare a meal for Diana, and they went to a room to do their makeup.

Time flew by, and soon the party was about to begin.

From a distance, a man named Conri spotted Diana and was instantly intrigued. He walked around, searching for an opportunity to approach her.

Alice noticed Conri, a handsome and tall man, walking around. She called out, "Conri, come over here!"

Seizing the moment, Conri walked charmingly toward Diana and Alice. His presence attracted attention, and the room seemed to pause.

Lowe, another guest, saw Conri and thought, 'You think you're the only handsome guy here?' (Lowe pouted.) Determined not to be outdone, he approached Diana and Alice as well.

Diana turned to see Lowe. In her mind, she thought he was incredibly cute; she had never seen someone so cute guy.

Alice noticed Lowe approaching and thought, 'Is there going to be a confrontation?' She knew she had to calm things before the storm began.

Alice thinks she isn't the target here and she knows.

Diana caught between two attractive men, felt her cheeks heat up.

Conri broke the ice. "Alice, who is this lovely dy?"

Alice smiled, "This is my best friend, Diana."

Diana smiled and introduced herself. "Hi, I'm Diana."

  "I'm Conri," he introduced himself.

Lowe then stepped forward. "Hi, I'm Lowe. Alice, is this your friend?"

Alice nodded. "Yes, this is my best friend Diana."

Conri quickly seized the moment. "Diana, may I have the honor of a dance?"

Diana accepted, and Conri led her to the dance floor. As they danced, Diana gnced out the window and noticed the moon glowing a deep red.

Suddenly, someone bumped into her, causing her to wobble. Conri caught her just in time. They continued dancing, unaware of the jealous gres from the other girls at the party.

Lowe, observing from a distance, noticed the purposeful bump and suspected foul py. He wondered if something had been done to Diana. 'Did she put something on Diana's body?' (In Lowe's mind.)

It seems no one else saw the accident except Lowe, including Conri, who thought it was accidental.

Diana felt a sharp pain in her arm. "Sorry, I don't think I can dance anymore," Diana said, bowing out gracefully.

Conri noticed Diana holding her arm. "Diana, wait! We can sit and eat. It's your best friend's birthday."

Diana turned back. "I just need to sit down because I don't feel well."

They made their way to a table.

Lowe saw Diana heading to a table and looked for a chance to approach her, but with Conri nearby, he had to wait.

Alice noticed Diana's unease and Conri's concern. She knew she had to keep an eye on the situation.

Meanwhile, Alice was asked to dance by another handsome guest, which made her happy.

She smiles and says, "Okay." (In Alice's mind finally, there is a guy who approaches her.)

Diana looked for Alice and saw her dancing. Diana sat at the table, feeling uneasy. Conri, noticing this, offered to get her some food. "What would you like?"

"Something without prawns and apple juice, please," Diana replied.

Conri smiled and walked away, going to take the food.

Lowe seized his chance and approached Diana. "Hello again. Why are you sitting alone?"

"I'm not feeling well," Diana answered.

"Would you like to go home? I can take you and inform Alice ter," Lowe offered.

  "Okay," Diana agreed.

Lowe, feeling happy, thought, 'Yes, I made it!'

When Conri returned, he found the table empty. "Where did she go?"

Conri cannot enter the dies. He asks the person coming out of the washroom. "Hold on, I want to ask do you see a dy this height, fair, long hair inside?" He asked around, but the dy answered, "There is no one else inside."

Conri thinks maybe Diana wasn't well and she goes home.

Realizing she wasn't coming back, he worried and decided to find Alice for Diana's contact number.

As Conri stands at the main entrance, he finally spots Diana getting into a car with Lowe and decides to follow them. Furious, he clenched his fists. "That fellow!"

Lowe noticed Conri's car in the rearview mirror and realized he was being chased. Determined not to lose Diana, Lowe sped up. Conri, equally determined, kept up the pursuit.

Lowe never thinks that Conri would be serious with Diana. Lowe knows he has no choice but to quickly get rid of him. Lowe knows his power isn't strong but he is not giving up. Lowe speeds up his car.

"Lowe, I'm not in a hurry," Diana said, concerned. She feels uncomfortable, "Why are you speeding?" Diana asked.

"Someone is following us," Lowe replied, gncing in the mirror.

Diana turned to look. "Who is it? Why is the person chasing you?"

  "A pest," Lowe muttered.

Conri noticed Lowe speeding his car. Conri says, "You think you can win me!"

Diana, sensing danger, grew anxious. "Did you offend someone?"

Lowe stayed silent and drove faster. "We need to lose him," Lowe insisted.

Conri, determined, sped up as well. "You think you can outrun me?" Conri, frustrated, gave chase.

Diana, caught in the middle, pleaded, "What are you guys doing? Please don't get me involved in your fight!"

  Ignoring her, Lowe kept driving.

Conri, pushing his car to the limit, managed to get ahead and block Lowe's path.

Lowe quickly reversed and turned the car around, driving off in a different direction.

Conri, relentless, threw a pen at Lowe's car tire, causing it to blow out. Lowe notices there is something wrong with his car tire. He tries to jam on the brakes. Lowe was forced to stop.

Lowe's car stops in the middle of the road.

Diana saw Conri approaching. "What does he want?"

Conri smirked and walked up to Lowe's car. "Get out." Conri is very angry. Conri points at Lowe and asks him to come out of the car.

Lowe quickly locks the car door.

Conri wants to open the car door and realizes it is locked.

Lowe rolls down the windows, hands up. "Diana wasn't feeling well, so I offered to take her home. You can ask her." Lowe defended himself, expining that Diana had willingly come with him.

Diana nods. Diana touches her head. "What are you guys doing? Please don't get me involved in your fights!"

Lowe walks out of his car. Lowe's hands are up. But he isn't giving up this easily. Lowe sees what's next move of Conri.

Conri says, "How dare you take away Diana."

As Diana walked out of the car. After a few minutes, she encountered a man walking towards her rapidly. Lowe, seeing this, rushed to protect her.

The man's appearance changed—he was a werewolf. Lowe transformed into his werewolf form to fight. Diana, shocked, watched in horror.

Lowe, realizing the danger, ran to her side just as the figure revealed its true form—a werewolf. Lowe transformed into his werewolf form to protect Diana, shocking her. "Hey, you little fellow!"

Lowe is taking a risk. Lowe punches the person.

The person's appearance changes. It turns out that person is a werewolf.

  Diana is shocked.

Conri didn't see because his back was facing them.

When Conri turns around he sees Diana is in danger he runs to Diana and pulls her into his car, "Let's go." Conri sped away from the scene. Diana, shaken, couldn't believe what she had witnessed. Diana knows what she sees just now isn't a dream. She is thinking deeply.

"Where do you live?" Conri asked.

Diana, lost in thought, gave him her address. "Mont-Saint-Aignan, Haute-Normandie," she replied, distracted.

"Are you okay?" Conri asked, noticing her distress.

"What was that just now?" Diana asked.

  "Werewolves," Conri answered calmly.

"They exist in this world?" Diana was incredulous.

"Yes, they do, Where do you stay?" Conri confirmed.

  Diana says, "It's at Mont-Saint-Aignan, Haute-Normandie(HN), 76130."

  Conri says, "Okay."

As they drove, Diana's stomach growled.

Conri smiled, driving them to a beautiful seaside restaurant. "Let's eat before I take you home."

Diana stepped out of the car and was captivated by the magnificent scenery beauty of the seaside. "This pce is beautiful," Diana said.

"If you like it, I can bring you here again," Conri said.

Diana smiles. Diana never comes to this pce and she never knows it exists.

Conri led her to a table outside, and they ordered dinner.

Diana says, "This pce is beautiful I never know it exists."

The waitress brought the menu, and Diana hesitated at the prices.

Conri reassured her, "It's my treat. Order anything you want."

"What would you recommend? I can't eat prawns," Diana mentioned.

"How about chili salmon with lemon sauce?" Conri suggested.

"Okay," Diana agreed, ordering hot green tea as well.

Conri orders 2 sets of chilli salmon with lemon sauce and 2 hot green tea.

Conri asks, "What do you like to do when you're free?"

Diana says, "I like to watch movies and shopping."

Conri asks, "Are you studying in the same school as Alice?"

  Diana says, "Yes."

The waitress serves the 2 hot green tea. "Sir, would you like some desserts after your meals?"

Conri asks Diana, "Do you want some desserts?"

  Diana says, "Tiramisu?"

  Conri orders 2 Tiramisu.

Diana looks at the sea it's very beautiful. If she has a pencil and paper she will draw the scenery. Diana thinks supper under the moonlight is beautiful and romantic.

As they ate, Conri asked for a pencil and paper, handing them to Diana. "You can draw the scenery."

Diana drew the beautiful scenery. Diana was surprised. "How did you know I wanted to draw this?"

  Conri smiled. "Let's eat."

Diana eats the chilli salmon with lemon sauce, "It's very nice."

They ate their meal, and Conri noticed sauce on Diana's lips. He gently wiped it away, making Diana blush.

Conri says, "Let's come here again."

  Diana nods.

Diana asks Conri, "Just now back there on the road, you mentioned it was werewolves. But why werewolf attacking me in the middle of the road? I saw Lowe turn into a werewolf too."

Conri says, "Werewolf will hunt at night, so he is just hungry that's why he wanted to attack you. As for Lowe, he should be able to fight with that werewolf nothing to worry for him."

Diana didn't think about why Conri had so much information and knowledge about werewolves.

After eating the main course, Conri asks to serve the Tiramisu desserts.

They enjoyed their meal, and Diana started drawing beautiful moonlight sea scenery. Conri admired her beauty and talent, thinking of how to ask her out again. "Are you free next week?"

"Next week there are projects," Diana replied.

Conri says, "We can exchange contact numbers and you can send me the drawing after your painting is finished."

"I will send it to you but I'd like to keep the original," Diana said.

  "Sure, no problem," Conri agreed.

After dinner, Conri smelled blood nearby. He sensed danger but didn't want to arm Diana. He decided they needed to leave quickly. There might be a fight or something and it may not be safe to stay here.

Conri quickly paid the bill and hurried Diana to the car.

Conri didn't see it because his back was facing away from Diana. When Conri turns around, he sees Diana is in danger.

Suddenly, someone stopped the car. It was Lowe; he punched the person who was approaching Diana.

The person's appearance changes. It turns out that person is a werewolf.

  "He seems hurt," Diana said.

  "Help me..."

Diana says, "We're not going to help him? He needs medical attention or else he will die."

Lowe says, "No, it's too te he won't die but turns into a werewolf."

Diana looks at Conri with her eyes wide open. Diana thinks maybe the person won't die but turning into a werewolf will be even scarier.

Lowe quickly grabs Diana's hand and shoves her into his car.

Conri approached Lowe's car, and this time, he kicked Lowe's car and forced Diana out. "How dare you take Diana away!" he shouted.

  "We should go," Conri said.

  "Alright," Diana agreed.

  Suddenly someone stops Conri's car.

  Conri pull the car. Eeeeezzz...

  Conri looks at the person.

  "It's Lowe!"

Lowe's body is covered with some blood on him.

Diana looked, "He seems injured, but I am scared of him. We better go."

  Conri smiles, "Alright my dear."

  Conri drives through Lowe.

Lowe looks at Conri's car. "Ooiii, stop the car!"

They drive past Lowe, who looks sad and angry at the same time. "Diana I will make you mine."

Diana was shocked as Conri drove off. "Werewolves hunt at night, especially when they're hungry," he expined.

"Why did that one attack me?" Diana asked.

"They won't hurt humans unless desperate," Conri said.

Conri says, "Don't let these werewolves bite you or else you will hurt others as they do. Hunting at night usually werewolves won't hurt humans unless they are extremely hungry. They will lose their sense."

After hearing these things, Diana says, "So far I have never encountered werewolves except today."

Conri says, "Are you sure? It seems that the werewolf back there Lowe fought is following you. I am sure he isn't following you for the first time and he was extremely hungry just now that's why he attacked you."

As they neared Diana's home, Diana, still wary, urged Conri to drive fast. Conri complied, promising to protect her.

The car stops at Mont-Saint-Aignan, Haute-Normandie (HN), 76130.

Diana opened the car door and stepped out. She kept quiet and looked at the sky.

Conri is captivated by Diana's beauty under the moonlight. "Let me send you up."

Diana looks at Conri and the wind blows Diana's hair.

Conri touches Diana's hair. It's soft and wavily. Conri kissed Diana's hair.

Diana looks at Conri. His face is very close to her face. Conri looks handsome this makes Diana blush.

Conri walks Diana up to her apartment. Conri notices someone is looking at them, hidden in one corner.

Diana didn't know that someone was following her.

As they reached her door, Conri noticed someone hiding nearby.

After Diana went inside, Conri confronted the stalker. "Why are you following her?"

The person tried to attack Conri, but he was already pinned down by Cronri.
