So, it is just another day of another hellish training. After I checked on my thoughtography style diaries that I took with me, I realized I burned through hundreds of 100 page diaries in the span of 5 days.
Well most of them are usually filled with me screaming for Isis-san to stop, me contempting as to why I even tried to train myself even more, or just me descending towards insanity.
Then, there’s the real world diary that I didn’t take with me, and I actually haven’t even read it due to me immediately going to sleep for a long time. I’m pretty surprised that it even registered whatever I was thinking because I certainly didn’t remember anything.
Anyway, as I took my diary and looked at what I wrote, I was beyond shocked.
Day 23 Month Water
I mean, how hard is it to cast causality intervention magic? It should’ve been easy! Yeah it should’ve been! I’m a magical prodigy! I will cast it tomorrow! In fact! I will be a causality intervention genius that even Isis-san was surprised with how good I am! I’m sure of it!
Day 24 Month Water
AAAAARRGHHH!!! WHY IS IT SO F*CKING HARD!? THE MOMENT I CAST IT, IT JUST RESULT IN THE SAME GODD*MN THING! THE MOMENT I FOUND A POSSIBILITY THAT I DODGE IT, I CAN'T CAST IT BECAUSE I LACKED MANA!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

Uuuugh, can we just, you know, learn something else? Like, I don’t know, annihition magic!? I heard those from Poris-san and it sounds just as strong, if not, stronger than causality intervention magic! We don't need to continue this hellish training and learn other things! …It seems that I was on a roller coaster of emotions in the past few days.

As I looked at the spot where the ice balls were concentrated, me and Kaori realized it.
We dodged it, we dodged the unstoppable onsught of ice balls! Without using any teleportation or Spatial Magic!
“W-We did it? We actually did it!? This is not a dream I had every night after the training started, right!?” Right!? (Kaori)
Kaori pinched her cheeks really hard to make sure she was not dreaming. I mean, I’m also just as surprised as she was.

As me and Kaori reminisced about our horrible days of weathering the neverending ice balls, we hugged and cheered with tears in our eyes that those days were over.
I hate to say it, but we definitely bonded over these st few days. Not only that, we need each other to cast causality intervention with Kaori mapping out the “possibilities” and me choosing it.
We definitely have bonded as the victims of Isis-san’s spartan training… and Kaori definitely thought the same.
Finally! No more ice balls! We can finally say goodbye to—

As we were still celebrating our milestone in reaching the strength we never reached before, suddenly we heard an ominous cp.
It was from our object of admiration and adoration, yet the source of our suffering and adversity.
It was Isis-san…
“Fufu… I know you both will figure it out… I’m proud of both of you.” (Isis)
Isis-san praises us with her usual gentle smile. On one hand, we were delighted, on the other hand, we were scared since she’s our sanity draining mentor that will keep on throwing endless spells towards us.
…Though it was because of this training that we were able to improve so we were very grateful.
“Now then… both of you are ready… for the next lesson…” (Isis)
A chill ran down Kaori’s and my spines, our hairs standing on end as if a cold wind had brushed past us. We both desperately hoped we had misheard, so I asked a question to confirm.
“...I-Isis-san, what do you mean for the next lesson?” (Yue)
“Unn… See, both of you managed to… change the cause and effect… but both of you still use the most basic form… of causality intervention… The next lesson… will be making “possibilities”…” (Isis)
“M-making possibilities?” (Kaori)

As Isis-san tried to expin the advanced version of causality intervention, she created a bunch of strings and then bundled them into a rope.
“Imagine this rope… as “time and space”... and imagine the strings… that are bundled and tangled together… as “Events”... these strings connect… to each other… and create the present reality… then…” (Isis)
As Isis-san continued her expnation, she unraveled the ropes and showed strings with splits connecting to each other, endlessly branching out towards different strings and splits.
“As time goes on, the “possibilities” emerges… and some cease, dissolved into nothingness… However, those who can manipute causality… are capable of discerning the “possibilities”... and even create one like this…” (Isis)
As Isis-san demonstrated, she created her own tiny string and attached it to one of the bigger strings, signifying that the “possibilities” she created has connected to the past reality.
“...Erm, Isis-san, does this mean that whoever could make more “possibilities” or make them faster is the better causality intervention user?” (Yue)
“Unn… It’s usually the case… However…” (Isis)
As Isis-san was still demonstrating, she suddenly grabbed the bigger string, detached it from the main string and then made it disappear entirely.
“If you are strong enough… you can also forcefully make a “possibility”... vanish.” (Isis)
“V-vanish? Do you mean we can completely erase a certain event?!” (Kaori)
“Unn… for example… let’s say the big string here is “me casting magic”... and all of the strings after are “me successfully cast them”... and let’s say I can also add more “possibility”... of me “successfully casting magic”... the real answer to this predicament… is just erase the possibility of “me casting magic” entirely… This phenomenon is called “causality colpse”... and only very few beings in Trinia can do this.” (Isis)

Well, I was dreading that we’re gonna continue our training for the next level of causality intervention magic but unexpectedly Alice-san gave us the saving fg for only Shallow Vernal-sama knows what she’s pnning.
I don’t know how, I don’t know if Shallow Vernal-sama gave her the go or what, but thank you Alice-san…

…I don't know what just happened or why it happened, but all of the sudden I can hear Shallow Vernal-sama’s voice inside my head. It appears that I screamed so loud that Kaori was shocked with how sudden it was and Isis-san approached me with a worried gaze.
Am I going crazy after all?

Today is finally the day off I’ve been waiting for, and to start, I did not wake up until almost noon.

Of course, my beauty sleep time was interrupted by someone much more energetic than a tornado, Myuu.

As soon as I told Myuu to eat breakfast first, she stormed out of the room sprinting with glee.

Also, for some reason Hajime was not here yesterday, did something happen to him? We called him using our smartphone and he said he’ll sleep in another pce so he told us to not wait for him and go to sleep.
This is strange… I had a hunch that he’s doing an all nighter making something or pnning something again like st time he did it back in our homeworld.

After I told Kaori and Shizuku that we would gather in Kuro-san’s back yard, we walked to the open space behind Kuro-san’s castle. From afar, we can see Shia and Tio were present while Hajime is crouching on the grass.
I don’t know what happened or what Hajime's deal is but one thing is certain.
The atmosphere is heavy, for some reason. Like they were preparing to go to war or something.
In fact, when we were closer to them, I could see Shia and Tio’s exasperated expression looking at Hajime’s reaaaaaally creepy grin.
Strange, really strange.
Anyway, since we have no idea what’s going on, we might as well greet Shia and Tio first.
“...Good morning, Shia, Tio.” (Yue)
“Oh! Good morning Yue-san! Kaori-san! Shizuku-san desu!” (Shia)

As I approach Hajime to talk to him, I can slowly hear his whispers saying “Fufufu, I pced it perfectly in line with the vision I had, she will definitely fall to this.” or “I’ll show her why I was called the Godsying Demon King.” or something simir.
…And then a sudden realization hit me.
“...We need to snap him out of it quickly.” (Yue)

As soon as I said my prediction on what Hajime was doing, all of the people present except for Hajime suddenly turned their head towards me with extreme speed and an astonished face.
“Ha-hahahaha!? That’s a really funny joke Yue-san! I mean, who in their right mind wants to fight against one of the Six Kings desu!” (Shia)
“T-that is true Yue! I even heard from Magnawell-dono that they once fought against Alice-dono and they could only stall for time until Kuromu-dono came! There’s no way Goshujin-sama wants to fight someone who can outmatch 4 members of the Six Kings at once! Right!?” (Tio)
“Y-yeah! There’s no way Hajime-kun is pnning on fighting someone who Isis-san said that she’s practically expert in every field, right!? Right!?” (Kaori)

Unfortunately, I can only give them the silent treatment, because I was certain that Hajime had sworn that she will give Alice-san a piece of his mind to make sure she won't look down on us and told her to stop messing with us if he wins.
Cold sweat is pouring out from all of the Wifie-s faces when reality has sunken in.
“HAJIMEEEEEEEEE!!! STOP!!! WHATEVER YOU’RE DOING!!! STOP RIGHT NOW!” (Shizuku)
To our surprise, Shizuku showed the most reaction from the fact that Hajime was seriously gonna fight Alice-san, and tried to stop him by grabbing onto his shoulders while violently shaking it.
“Let me go Shizuku! If I don’t properly show that chartan I won’t be sleeping tonight! Who cares if she can fight the f*cking God herself I will make sure she won’t look down on me ever again!” (Hajime)
“Are you out of your mind!? Do you even know what she’s capable of!? She can pn all of your movement, counter it, and make sure you regret every decision you make! Stop right now before your pride gets obliterated into pieces!” (Shizuku)
Whoa… Shizuku was practically demanding Hajime to stop with those bloodshot eyes of hers. It makes me a little bit afraid. Even Kaori was getting afraid and worried about Shizuku’s mental wellbeing.
“Erm… Shizuku-chan? Are you okay?” (Kaori)
“...Kaori?” (Shizuku)
“Y-yes?” (Kaori)
“You can only say that because you have no clue just how terrifying Alice-san is, she memorized my habit, how I walk, where I will go if I need to run, how I react and move or attack if I was threatened, and that’s just the basic things that she can do while she’s asleep. I literally had to change my habit just to make her lose track of me, and she was still able to predict that! How are we supposed to beat her when she can see the future just from prediction!? Uuuuuuuugh…” (Shizuku)
T-to think that Shizuku had undergone such training, isn’t that just pin bullying at this point!? I mean, Shizuku was crying just from her telling us her experience under Alice-san’s training. We were shocked at just how much Shizuku has gone through.
…Maybe Isis-san’s training wasn’t so bad after all…
“Anyway! Hajime! Stop now while your sanity is still intact!” (Shizuku)
“I won’t! Who cares if I lose!? I’ll make sure she has the fight of her life if I do!” (Hajime)
“This is for your own good! Just stop!” (Shizuku)
This… has turned into an ugly scuffle, of course we all are on Shizuku’s side here since we all know how terrifying Alice-san is. I would know, because I once saw her at Lilia-san’s mansion, and she’s no joke. Hajime on the other hand… was extremely stubborn and wouldn't change his mind like an immovable mountain.
As we’re still begging Hajime to rethink his life choices, suddenly we heard voices.
“Oya? They all gathered here just like you said Shalltear.” (Kuro)
“Of course they are. I asked Magnawell-san, Isis-san and that goril to lend them to me for one day after all~ Well there’s also the fact that I hijacked their phone and called the zy vampire princess so she won’t oversleep.” (Alice)
Jolts ran through our spine as we heard a very familiar sound behind us. As we slowly turn our gaze towards the source of the sounds, we can see Kuro-san and Alice-san walking towards us.
… I also heard from Alice-san that she basically called me in Hajime’s voice, with a smartphone this morning…
…I need to be more careful next time.
As they got closer though, I immediately realized something was off.
Rather, Alice-san was not in her usual tight fit clothes. Instead, she’s wearing a bck coat with a gray shirt underneath it, she is also wearing bck pants with a gun holster attached to it and bck boots. Not only that, she also has an eyepatch and even a metallic arm with revolvers in each of her hands…
…Everyone who looks at what Alice-san’s wearing will instantly figure out what she’s trying to do.
“Yahooo~ Good morning everyone~” (Alice)
Of course, without any shame, Alice-san waves her arms and greets us as if our complicated gaze was nothing but passing wind. Or rather, I think she was only focusing on Hajime, who was shaking violently after he saw what she’s wearing.
“A-Alice-san? What are you wearing desu?” (Shia)
“You’re shocked, right? Can’t bme you, after all I had a sudden urge to do cospy today! I’m cospying as a deranged chuunibyou, how do I look?” (Alice)
Uwaaaa… such is the only word we can utter when we hear Alice-san’s expnation. I mean, she’s clearly cospying as Hajime! This is the level of messing with us that even Miledi f*cking Reisen can never reach.

“Hajime! Stay! Shia! Help me!” (Shizuku)

I’m honestly so shocked that I didn’t realize Hajime was sprinting towards Alice-san with bloodshot eyes. Luckily, Shizuku and Shia pinned Hajime down and tried to calm him.
“Oya~, look who it is~! If it isn't Southcloud the First~, I’m a big fan!” (Alice)
“Shalltear, Kaito-kun asked me to keep you in check, so if you’re going overboard I’ll tell Kaito-kun~.” (Kuro)
“Okay okay I’ll stop, I’ll stop! I really don’t want to be hit by that nonsensical paper fan…” (Alice)
Fortunately, Kaito-san asked Kuro-san to put her on a leash in case things like this happened and thankfully, Alice-san backed off and behaved.
Kaito-san’s name is truly a wonder cure for all of our problems…As expected of Kaito-san…
Luckily for us, Hajime also calmed down after he realized Kuro-san is here to make sure Alice-san won’t go too far with her pranks so Shizuku and Shia let him go.
“Alright~ I know all of you figured out what happened here but I’ll expin for those who don’t~. Basically Shalltear wants to show you all how powerful you all can be while also fighting against Hajime-chan. Meanwhile, Hajime-chan wants to fight against Shalltear but since the gap between them are pretty rge, I decided to make some handicap for Hajime-chan~” (Kuro)
O-ooh! So there’s a handicap in their fight, I thought Hajime will have to fight Alice-san in her full power.
I mean, it was so obvious that there will be handicaps but I had a hunch that Hajime did not accept this at first…
“...If it’s not for Ein-sensei’s promise to send me an invitation for the Maid Olympia, I would never accept this condition…” (Hajime)
…Did I just hear something completely insane like “Maid Olympia” from the sulking Hajime’s mouth?
Y’know what? Not my problem.
Or rather, Alice-san was pnning on showing us our power when we arrived at our peak or something? That seems really suspicious.
As we are still hearing Kuro-san’s expnation regarding Hajime and Alice-san’s spar (while ignoring Hajime’s babble about Maid Olympia), the rules are made to ensure that Hajime has a chance at winning.
The rules are the followings:
Alice-san’s stat will be downgraded to Hajime’s base stat, any form of amplification will not be allowed while Hajime is allowed any form of amplification.Alice-san cannot use any of her advanced magics, and only uses magic that we learned or we could learn.Hajime is allowed, at maximum, three separate help from Kuro-san herself in anything as long as it doesn’t hinder Alice-san directly.This is a really eborate and distinctive handicap, and not only that, three separate helping hands from Kuro-san? That’s an overkill in my opinion.
…Although Kuro-san probably added in that rule to make it fair, which makes Alice-san an even bigger monster than I thought.
“Alright! That's the basic rule! I’ll make the barrier okay~?” (Kuro)
After Kuro-san finished speaking about the rules, she cpped her hands then proceeded to make a Large Scale Spatial Barrier and enclose a rge space where we’re standing.
Naturally, since things were going to get heated, we all got out from the barrier except for Hajime, Alice-san and Kuro-san.
“Alright~ before we start, do you both have anything to say?” (Kuro)
“...Prepare to meet your maker because I’m gonna make sure you remember this fight for your entire life.” (Hajime)
“Eh? What’s that? Is that the sound of a wingless fly speaking? Meh, anyway Kuro-san, how about you add more to that rule of yours? I’m just so scared that I’ll accidently blow away such a precious life!” (Alice)
“Ah? Maybe you’re way too soft hearted to even face me. Phantasmal King? More like Softy King.” (Hajime)
“Oya? Is that a baby’s first word!? Oh how precious!” (Alice)
Both Hajime and Alice-san started staring daggers at each other like sparks about to go off while trash talking for odd reasons.
But Hajime when he does it looks so cool though! So can’t compin!
“Alright! Both sides ready?” (Kuro)
“I’m itching to pull the trigger already.” (Hajime)
“I’m ready~” (Alice)
Hajime replied to Kuro-san’s question like he really can’t hold back on shooting his guns towards Alice-san while she just nonchantly answered Kuro-san…
…For some reason I had a hunch that this is not going to be pretty, and I can feel the Wifie~s felt the same, especially Shizuku who already experienced first hand how terrifying Alice-san is.
I’m just hoping Hajime won’t get hurt too badly…
