Tanya looked on at her father as he danced around the blows of the rge war troll. He was powerful, that much she could tell. He wasn’t nearly as strong as many of those within the tomb, yet it was enough for the rest of the world. She would say he was as strong as the average aerial mage.
Well, the average aerial mage in her group that she had trained herself, but that was getting pedantic. Her father was, of course, much stronger than her mages or even herself in her past life. There was so much more magic in this world, this pce.
As she watched him, she thought back to the promise and the guarantee that her father had made. When she was ten, she would be allowed to learn magic. Of course, it was ter than when she had learned most of her basic magic in her past life, but it was a nice even number that her father undoubtedly thought was a good time to teach her at.
Her father rushed forward with his staff, the tip raised and reared back to his shoulder with one hand. His other hand was held open near one of his stiletto knives. He rushed forward once more.
The war troll was tired, that was pin to see. The emperor was still rooting him on though, with Visha waving tiny fgs in her small hands and cheering on their father as well. Tanya knew that her father was going to win, after all he was one of the most powerful entities on this pnet.
That much she had gathered from the video of his battle with Shalltear. He made a pn and executed it with the smallest margin of error possible. He would win this fight without any problem.
The war troll rolled to the side, using several different, “Martial arts,” in the process. Her father had seemed to anticipate this as kept going forward as the war troll swung his club where her father would have been if he had stopped.
Her father then stopped and turned to the war troll. He wasn’t tired at all, he was undead and couldn’t tire. They then began to talk, about what? Tanya thought she had an idea. After all, the wat troll had shouted out about challenges and what have you, so it was probably something to do with that.
Her father then stabbed his staff into the dirt, and reached behind his back for the stiletto knives. He pulled them free, shouted, “I borrowed these from Momon!” and ran toward the other man.
The troll swung his club to the side and whipped it around and down when her father ducked past it. Yet he missed the second time, and her father jumped up and stabbed both of his knives into the troll.
Go Gin cried out in pain as he caught fire, the war crime knife was then withdrew. The Martial Lord tried to swat Ainz Ooal Gown away, yet her father simply leapt up and summersaulted in the air.
He nded on his feet in a smoothly transitioned crouch, and looked up at the slightly burnt face of the Warrior King. Go Gin had seen better days. A smile still pyed across the face of the Martial Lord.
They spoke some more, in tones that Tanya couldn’t hear. Not because she had bad hearing, but because she was so far away, and she was young. The war troll then shouted for all to hear.
“Show me what rue strength is! Show me what y beyond my power!” he said, and hefted with massive war club.
Her father simply shrugged and walked forward, a passive ability coating him in light for but a splint second before the war club came down on him. Then, it bounced off, like a pebble thrown at a brick wall.
The mighty Go Gin kept throwing attack after attack at her father, the king of all undeath. Yet, it accomplished nothing. Her father pierced his heart with his stiletto, and the war troll fell to the ground, dead.
Her father looked at the corpse for a minute, waiting for the silence to set in. that was why he had done what he had done, wasn’t it? he wanted to make an entrance, to make a name for himself as a powerful undead, as a powerful king.
She smiled a devilish smile at that, her pointed teeth that had grown it showing. He wanted to show everyone his power, to make them submit to the idea that he didn’t need them for what they were unfortunately going to think when he brought up his idea. Genius, her father’s mind knew no bounds.
Then, he looked up and turned to face the silent spectators. Everyone had been rooting for the Warrior king, the Martial Lord, Go Gin the war troll. They hadn’t truly wanted him to lose, to believe that he couldn’t win.
Then her father pulled a magic item from his inventory and put it to his mouth. He spoke in that powerful Baritone of his. It had grown on Tanya this past year.
“People of the Baharuth Empire! I am the sorcerer King Ainz Ooal Gown!” he let the stating of his name wash over them all; then he continued, “I am nationalizing the Adventures’ guild in my own kingdom,” another pause, “as you can see, I don’t need soldiers. I want to make the adventures’ guild what it truly should be! What it truly needs to be! A pce, a people that explore the unknown, seek out and explore new and uncharted civilizations! To boldly go where no man has gone before!” he shouted.
This was why she had come here. to see her father in his natural pce. He was a mediator, she had seen it the first time the NPCs had gotten into a true argument. He set a scene for everyone, and set up a idea for everyone to follow so that they may py equally with each other. He let them all speak their minds.
That was why he was growing on her as an actual dads, as a father for her person. She was starting to like him, as a person.
“I wish for a pce, a culture where people’s talents can grow! Where tales of old and new can be spun! Where average person has an equal chance at life and a desire to explore the world!” he caste the idea into the crowd, and people were hearing him, “That is why I am here! I wish for you, both old and new adventurer’s to come to my nation! To come and help me build this pce together!” warmth spread through his words.
He was starting to get into this speech, this idea that had undoubtedly been at the back of his mind since before she was reborn in this pce, in her new home.
“Join me! Create a better world, a better dream!” he finished, and the crowd went wild.
…
“I wish to become a vassal state of the Sorcerer Kingdom,” announced Jircniv.
“Wah?” Ainz made a noise of confusion as that hadn’t been his pn.
He had just come up with this pn on the fly, and he had actually gotten really into it. Then, after all the talking and the speech giving, he had come up to the VIP area to take his kids home and most definitely bang hid three hot wives in celebration. Not that that would be his idea that night though.
When Jircniv had sprung this pn on him. Tanya was also confused. The idea was to make the investment of the adventures’ guild worth it. A vassal state wasn’t the pn.
“Well, send it to me in writing so we can finalize it and make sure we don’t mess anything up in misinterpretations,” Ainz said, and Jircniv nodded his head, “other than that, I accept.”
Erika looked at this all, and walked over to the emperor. He looked down at the small child, and he wondered what his demon child would do. She simply looked up at him, and hugged his leg.
Her cheeks were flushed with embarrassment, yet she felt only Wictoria giggling in humor. Tanya was looking on at this all with confusion, and Ainz looked on with good natured warmth.
“Please don’t panic. My father means well enough. He’s just scary,” she whispered to him so that only he could hear her.
Then, after a couple of second of that, Ainz spoke.
“Well, Jircniv, this has been a wonderful day,” he said and beckoned her over with a wave of his hand, “I must be off.”
With that statement, all of his entourage, including the maid, vanished in a puff of blue smoke. Jircniv then colpsed from exhaustion.
