The town of N?rsēville gleamed with bright colors, the lights from its buildings casting a soft glow over the cobblestoreets. The mix of old and new architecture made the town unique—sleek metal and gss stood alongside rustic wooden structures. The air buzzed with quiet energy, and uhe barren nds they had passed through, this pce was full of life.

Marvin and William walked into the heart of town, taking in their surroundings. B-Bots of different shapes and sizes moved through the streets, their expressions bnk but their movements full of purpose.

Marvin’s sharp eyes nded on a female B-Bot standing near a small shop. She had long brown hair, a white cap, and a calm presence. He approached her, William close behind.

“Excuse me,” Marvin said, his voice firm yet polite.

The woman turned slowly, sing their faces before responding in a soft, ral tone. “Hello. What do you need?”

“We’re looking for a warrior,” William said before Marvin could speak.

“A warrior?” she repeated, tilting her head. “What is a warrior?”

William frowned. “Someone who fought to protect this Module many times.”

She shook her head. “I don’t know of such a figure. There hasn’t been any sight of one.”

Marvin sighed. “Let’s go. She doesn’t even know what a warrior is. That means she’s no help.”

As they walked away, William murmured, “So, everyohinks the warrior died during the battle. Maybe he was erased from history?”

Marvin gnced around. “Or someone wants us to believe that.”

Before they could tihe sound of heavy footsteps echoed through the alley.

A group of five B-Bots blocked their path. These ones were bulkier, their glowing red optics hinting at trouble.

“Hey! What are you doing in our area?” one of them barked.

“We were just leaving,” Marvin replied ftly.

“Nah,” the leader sneered. “We got a rule. Number one rule.”

  The other B-Bots shifted, f a semi-circle.

“If a stranger enters our area,” the leader tinued, drawing a jagged khey don’t leave...” His optics fred red. “Alive.”

Without hesitation, Marvin reached for his on. William ched his fists.

  The gang rushed forward.

Marvin ducked uhe first swing and tered with a sharp elbow to the B-Bot’s ribs, sending sparks flying. He spun, smming the hilt of his on into another’s head, denting its metallic skull. A third attacker leaped at him, but Marvin sidestepped and sshed in one fluid motion, cutting deep into its shoulder.

Meanwhile, William faced two oppos. Ohreunch, but William caught it mid-air and twisted, snapping the B-Bot’s arm off. Using the momentum, he drove his ko its chest, sending it crashing into a wall. The sed attacker lunged, but William dodged and delivered a devastating uppercut, sending the B-Bot flying backward.

Marvin turned in time to see the gang leader charging, his knife raised high. Marvin parried the bde, the csh ringing through the alley. With a quick twist, he disarmed his oppo and smmed the on’s pommel into the B-Bot’s head, crag its optics.

  But the B-Bot wasn’t done.

With surprising speed, it tackled Marvin, pinning him against the wall. Its metal fingers ched around his throat.

Marvin’s vision blurred. He struggled, trying to lift his on, but his grip weakened.

William saw the danger aed instantly. He grabbed the fallen B-Bot’s severed arm and hurled it like a spear. It struck the gang leader in the back, making him loosen his grip for a fra of a sed—just enough for Marvin to break free.

Marvin didn’t hesitate. He summoned every ounce of strength and drove his on straight through the gang leader’s chest. The red glow in its optics faded, and its body slumped to the ground.

The remaining B-Bots, seeing their leader destroyed, hesitated before fleeing into the shadows.

Marvin exhaled, lifting his hand. His on obeyed, returning to his grasp. The fight was over.

  Marvin turo William. “You okay?”

William nodded, staring at his hands. “I killed one of them without your help.”

  Marvin smirked. “Well done.”

He looked toward the open street ahead.

  “Let’s go.”
