Anton arrived at the Prancing Pony tavern that was copied from the Fellowship of The Rings film and there were a lot of cosplayers inside both from the Amelia and the locals of Norbuna. The tavern was brighter than the one in the movie and he thought that more than likely, Antonia and Lucia probably decided on that to make sure that the customers would be able to see the costumes that everyone had worn.
Torun, Blake, Andrea, and Soren were already waiting for him at one of the tables already drinking some mugs of ales or in Andrea’s case, some kind of fruit juice.
“Where are your gang?” Anton asked Soren.
“I told them to join their families. If we all gathered here, there would be too many of us and it might bother the other customers and everyone was grateful enough that we didn’t have to pay for the entrance ticket. It was ridiculously expensive by the way,” Soren said.
“A whole group of us shouldn’t bother the other customers and besides, my family owned the movies that allowed them to have this sort of event!” Anton said indignantly, thinking that if others really acted out because they were a large group, he might go on full Karen Mode.
“Besides, the main goal of a Cosplay Convention was for a group of friends that are similar-minded to enjoy themselves acting out their fantasies,” Anton added.
“No one is really complaining Anton. We just decided that it will be more convenient for everyone if our group is smaller,” Andrea said.
“That’s fine then. I just don’t want you all to think that I’m bothered by Soren’s friends.”
“We know you aren’t and we appreciate it. It’s just a smaller group is more convenient,” Blake said.
“What happened? Why did you leave earlier,” Soren asked impolitely but Anton almost expected something like that from the guy.
He had been with Torun’s group for a long time and Anton was already familiar with some of the behavior of his new friends. Torun was considered their leader even after Anton arrived since he mostly decided which activity they wanted to do for the day. Blake and Andrea just followed along and Soren was the leader of his own gang or maybe the better term was his group of friends since they mostly just did regular things and not any gang-like activities. Anton thought that they grouped because they were familiar with each other having been neighbors from where the city they came from and to avoid the boredom that consumed a youth that had nothing to do.
Anton liked it that way since he wanted a normal group that he could talk to about silly things. The fact that he didn’t have anything like that when he was on Earth added to his liking of being a part of Torun’s group.
Regarding Soren’s questions about what happened, Anton candidly told them since nothing about the issue needed to be kept secret and nobody warned him either way.
“The assassin group that was hiding in the ship engaged in battle with the ship’s wizards and as you may expect, the wizards won so we don’t have to worry about the assassins anymore.”

That announcement surprised everyone at the table and Anton could see their surprise gradually turning into joy.
“I’m so glad! A lot of our family members are so worried especially since we’re involved with you and some even suggested that we cut ties with you!” Soren said and the other three glared at him.
When Soren asked Torun, Blake, and Andrea “What?!” Torun answered him.
“You didn’t have to tell that to Anton! Besides, those people who made that comment were stupid!”
“It’s fine Torun. You don’t have to condemn those who suggested that you cut ties with me since I did capture some of them. If I were in their place, I might have said the same thing. The good thing is, we don’t have to worry about those assassins anymore, so let’s celebrate!” Anton announced.
Initially, Anton planned to spend the rest of the evening with Torun’s group roaming around and doing a lot of things in the Cosplay Event venue, just like the night before, but their celebration turned into a drinking party that made most of them fall into a drunken stupor.
At least Anton was spared turning into a drunken version of himself even though he thought that if he did get inebriated, it wouldn’t matter anyway since it was a celebration. But the fact was, due to his physical stats provided by his physical characters from his Diablo II system, even though he imbibed a huge amount of alcohol, it only made him a little dizzy that soon passed.
After paying off their bill, which was considerable since the prices were inflated due to the event, he was the only one remaining awake since even Andrea, surprisingly, got drunk as well, he was the one who handled bringing everyone home and it was still very early in the night at around nine in the evening.
Anton used his Telekinesis to carry the four youths home to the amusement of the onlookers. It wasn’t a rare sight since these kinds of things happened the night before to several groups as well, it was just that they were the youngest who became drunk, and the fact that it was early added to everyone’s amusement.
While carrying everyone out of the Cosplay Event venue, Anton encountered his father, Selena, and her two friends, Norma and Belue. They seemed to be in the process of being idle and he knew that everyone was doing their version of unwinding after weeks of worry from the attacks of the assassins. Based on Norma and Belue’s reaction, they appeared to have no intention of leaving the family which was fine with Anton but he knew that the two ladies were aware that Anton noticed due to the redness on their faces when they saw Anton’s scrutiny.
“What happened to them?” Anders asked his son while pointing at Torun and the others, and Anton simply answered that they were all drunk.
It was a bit funny since his friends were floating beside him.
“What about you?” Anton’s father asked.
“I drank the most alcohol but apparently my physique prevented me from becoming drunk. I did get a little dizzy but after several minutes, it passed off.”
Anders tapped his son’s shoulders as if saying that it was a pity that Anton wouldn’t experience the joy of imbibing enough alcohol to fall into a drunken stupor.
Honestly, Anton didn’t mind not having that experience because based on all the movies he had seen, being drunk, especially the hangover part was painful, and the fact that his physique cleared the alcohol in his system in just a few minutes that it would be very difficult to poison him was a great advantage.
Anton asked where the others at and after Anders told him, they talked for a few more minutes then he said his goodbye to everyone. He wanted to bring his friends home as soon as possible since even though it wasn’t an effort for him to carry them around using his spell, it was a bit embarrassing for them since everyone who saw him stared at his friends like they were some sort of spectacle being present by the event organizer.
He knew that Andrea particularly would be highly embarrassed if she ever learned of this situation but Anton didn’t intend to share it with his friends. Unfortunately, on the way out of the venue, he encountered Soren’s gang members.
The boys all laughed when they learned what happened to the group and followed Anton and his friends home. They wanted to see the reaction of the family when they learned what happened to Torun and the others.
