(C3) Food for humans is hard.

Myra stares at the wolf for a few seconds, questioning if she just heard what it said correctly.

"Are... Are you sure?" She asks timidly.

[Of course, if you are fine with living in the forest.] The voice says.

"You... aren't going to eat me r-right?" She asks.

[No! I already told you I don't do that!] The voice excims, Causing the girl to shrink in fear, closing her eyes.

[Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you like that!] The voice panics. The wolf dropping its head down to the girls level.

[Really, I'm sorry!] The wolf looks at the girl with pleading eyes. [How do you deal with humans?!] It thinks to itself.

Myra opens her eyes and is surprised by how sad the rge wolf looks, she walks a little closer to it.

[Anyway...] The voice says as the wolf huffs, sitting up straight. [Do you want to come with me?]

"OK... I wont be any help though..." Myra says, fidgeting a little.

[Why does that matter?] The wolf tilts its head.

"Huh? I won't be able to do anything for you..." Myra says with a confused expression.

[There is no reason for you to do anything for me... How old are you?] The voice asks.

"Um, 7, I think..." Myra says putting her head down.

[So you are still a baby, right? Why would you need to help me?] The voice questions.

"Because that's what a sve does..." Myra says, her eyes watering.

The wolf stares at her for a moment, [You aren't a sve though?] The wolf tilts its head again.

Myra stares at the wolf with a shocked expression, "But that's what they told me I was..."

[Who?] The wolf questions, a slight anger in its voice.

"The people that had me... They said I was supposed to follow the orders of the person who buys me, if I didn't they would hurt me..." Her head drops even lower this time, tears falling to the grass once more.

[Hey hey hey, they can't do anything to you anymore. I'm not buying you and I won't make you do anything you don't want to do.] The wolf walks up and nudges her cheek. Its eyes soft and caring.

"Then why are you helping me?" Myra looks up, the wolfs nose pushing in her cheek.

[Why not?] The wolf says, nudging her cheek even more.

She giggles a little and moves her head away, "Your nose is cold!" She ughs a little more.

  [Oh, sorry!] The wolf says.

Myra's stomach growls, she blushes and looks towards the ground.

[You must be hungry... Lets get to my home and get you something to eat.] The voice says, Myra is suddenly lifted up by something she cant see and is put on the wolfs back, [Hold on tight.] She hears as the wolf starts walking further into the forest.

"Marcus, you need to stop bming yourself so much. They said they would look for her." Ina says, with her hand on Marcus's back. Sitting on the bed in the room they rented. Marcus tapping his leg.

"I know, but I should have stopped her. I shouldn't have let her go... She's probably-" Marcus gets cut off, his eyes tearing up.

"No! Stop thinking like that!" Ina yells, "They will find her, OK?" She says, hugging him.

Raul comes back into the room after buying 3 meat skewers, giving them their share. He takes off his helmet, revealing his shoulder length blonde hair that covers most of his face, and sits down with the other 2 and they start eating. Raul and Ina finish their skewers, Marcus is just staring at his not even attempting to take a bite out of it.

"Marcus," Raul speaks up, "not eating isn't going to help find her. You need food to be able to search for her right?" He says.

Marcus looks up at him for a moment then lets out a deep breath. "You're right..." He says, then takes a bite out of the skewer.

After he finishes the skewer, they all head down to the baths and wash up, then regroup in their room.

"Alright, in the morning we'll go check on the kids, then take an exploration job for the forest and go look for her, deal?" Raul asks.

"I'm fine with that." Ina says with a shrug, face pnting onto the bed she chose.

Marcus looks over a Raul with surprise and confusion, "What?" Raul asks, "Did you think you were the only one worried about her?"

Ina looks up at him from burying her face in the pillow, "We are a team Marcus, we aren't going to let you look for her alone."

"Right..." Marcus says, "Sorry guys, and thank you." They both nod at him.

"Now that we have a pn, lets get some sleep, we are going to have a long day tomorrow." Raul says.

"I second this pn." Ina says, before pnting her face back into her pillow.

"Alright." Marcus ys down in his bed.

They make it to a clearing with a tree with glowing white flowers in the center. Myra still confused and dazed from being picked up and put on the wolfs back. The wolf walks passed it and into a hole on the other side, walking down a few meters into a big open area dug out. Roots from the tree winding through the ceiling with little flowers sporadically spaced out, lighting the whole pce in a soft white glow.

Myra gets picked up again and floats off the wolf, being pced on a small bed of dull white petals and grass. She looks around a little then at the wolf, it looks down at her. [Stay here, I will go get you some food.] The voice says, the wolf turning around and leaving the den.

She looks around in a small panic when the wolf leaves her sight, there is not much else in the pce except the bed she is sitting on. A small shelf lies in one of the corners, a few random trinkets that she doesn't recognize lines the shelf. Some with small arching metal pieces, some cubes of stone and metal.

She looks around the room for a few minutes, her heart beating hard and her mind racing. The wolf walks back into the room, a dead dear with a pair of horns that is twisted and curved in unnatural ways, floating next to the wolf. A few carrots in the wolfs mouth, it walks over and pces all of it near her. She stares at the deer and carrots for a moment, then looks at the wolf confused.

[What's wrong?] The wolf tilts its head.

"I can't eat it raw... I was told never to serve someone something without cooking it because it could kill them..." Myra says.

[Oh...] The wolf stares for a moment. [Wait, how would I even cook this?]

"Oh, I can eat the carrots raw, but they are a little dirty..." She says.

[Oh OK!] The voice says, the wolf perking up. A blue light washes over the carrots, a few moments ter and they are clean. Myra reaches over and starts eating them, while the wolf moves the deer away. It stares at the deer for a moment. [I guess I could just set it on fire, that's how you cook stuff right?] The deer lifts a little higher then is engulfed in fmes, after a few minutes the fire is put out, leaving a charred mess. It floats over and nds in front of the girl and she looks at it even more confused then before.

"I... don't think I can eat that either..." Myra says quietly.

[What!?] The wolf looks at her completely dumbfounded. [What did I do wrong?] The wolf thinks to itself. It looks back down at the burnt deer and in the next moment there is only a few specks of ash floating into the air.

[I will go get you more pnts to eat then...] The wolf turns with it's head down and walks out. A few minutes ter it comes back with a few potatoes, carrots, and wild onions. It pces them down in front of Myra and cleans them. She eats them and then lets out a long yawn.

[Go ahead and get some sleep.] The wolf says, walking over to her and ying on the bed behind her. Myra looks at the wolf for a second then looks to the bedding. The wolf uses its tail to nudge the girl closer, she snuggles up to the wolf before drifting off to sleep.

"This is a lot..." Leon says, rubbing his forehead in annoyance. Looking at the destruction that the adventurers told him about lit by ntern light. The darkness threatening to take their vision from what's inside the forest. He was alerted by the scout team that he would have to come take look himself.

"What would you like for us to do about this, sir?" One of the members of the scout team asks. "The public isn't going to take this lightly."

"I know, but they must know what this man did, he betrayed the trust of everyone." Leon says, "Was his body found?" He asks.

"Negative, we checked every body we found and so far, none of them were Wesker." The scout team member replies.

"Alright, we'll put a bounty on him dead or alive, look into his whereabouts as well." Leon says. "Any sign of the girl?"

  "Same deal, nothing so far."

"Alright, I'll take a quick look through the forest, they said she ran in the direction the hobgoblin came from..." Leon says, turning and looking down the line of trees that are bent or snapped.

"Copy, good luck sir!" The scout member turns back to his group and and they start to walk around inspecting more of the carnage.

Leon starts walking down the line of trees, finding nothing but destruction from the hobgoblin. After walking for 15 minutes, he spots something reflect the light from his ntern through the trees. He makes his way through the brush and finds multiple bodies, some missing heads, other missing almost half of their torso, most missing one of their limbs. He inspects a few of the bodies, unable to find the girl or any sign of Wesker.

"What the hell could have done this..?" He says, looking out into the forest.
