I take out a random item from my bag and show Lin how to place a simple lock. Then I explain how to break it and let her try it for herself until she manages to succeed. Each time she breaks the lock, I put a slightly more complex one in place and let her break it.

  I keep it up until we get to a lock that she can’t break even after trying for a half of an hour. At this point, she understands everything about the process and just needs to keep practicing. Since that is the case, I take the new spell pages out of my bag and hand them to her.

  Lin says “What’s this? It is like a completely different spell?!”

  “It is. I realized that I was going about it the wrong way. This is the proper way to do it and I started with it as an enchantment so there won’t be any need to convert it. I just wanted you to look it over and check for mistakes or improvements that I missed. Please?”

  Lin says “Do you mean to tell me that all the time I spent going through that mess of a spell was wasted?!”

  “I’m sorry! I will make it up to you?”

  Lin says “You had better! Alright, I will take a look, but this is the last time!”

  “Don’t worry, I got it right this time.”

  Lin says “Go away, let me concentrate!”

  “Yes, ma’am!”

  I can hear the other girls chuckling behind me as I head downstairs to my workshop. However, it doesn’t bother me since I know that Lin loves me and was only teasing me. Once I am downstairs I start making a pair of gates to connect the bedroom in the palace.

  This pair is much smaller than the other one, only about the size of a normal door. That means I won’t be able to use it in my normal form, but I don’t use that form much in the bedroom. Even if I do want to, I can simply shrink to go through the gate, but it is mainly for the girls.

  As the queens, they will probably be spending more time in the capital than I will. This will allow them to come visit the castle easily, or at least that is the idea behind it. Lin is the only one who can gate around by herself, so it should prove useful for the others.

  When the gates are done I put them in my ring and then head upstairs to the bedroom. As I am installing the gate in the bedroom, Lin, Mercy, and Brightfire come in to see what I am doing. When they see me installing the gate, they immediately question me about it.

  So, I explain to them my thoughts about the gate as I finish setting up this side of it. At their insistence, I immediately gate to the palace to set up the other end of the gate. As soon as it is done the three of them come through to take a look at the new bedroom.

  However, when they change their outfits in front of me it quickly becomes apparent they have other ideas. Even though I have been with each of them, the idea of being with all three at once makes me a little nervous. Lin, as if she knows exactly what I am thinking, takes the initiative and doesn’t give me time to overthink things.

  Once Lin gets things started I don’t have any time to think, at least not with the big head. Probably the most surprising thing is just how willing Mercy and Brightfire are to be adventurous. I was expecting them to be a lot more reserved, at least for a while until they got used to things.

  I have no idea what Lin has told them, but I am pretty sure that she is the one behind this. Not that I am complaining, I have more fun with them than I was expecting to. It is enough that by the time we are done, I am exhausted and fall straight to sleep.

  When I wake up, hours later, I just lay there for a while trying to come to grips with what happened. It is bad enough that I know I should get up and do something, but I can’t remember what. Not that I could get up easily, I am currently pinned in place fairly thoroughly.

  However, there are definitely worse things than being pinned in place by naked beauties. To distract myself, I try going through my to-do list to try and figure out what I am forgetting. However, the only thing I can think of that I didn’t finish is the enchantment for seeing potential.

  The problem is that I gave it to Lin and I have no idea if she finished it before all this happened. Even if she did, I am still going to have to wait for her to wake up so that I can ask. Considering how things went, I get the feeling that waking her up too soon would be a very bad idea.

  With no other real choice, I cuddle the two on either side of me closer and try to go back to sleep. When that doesn’t work, I enter into my soul palace to take a look and see how things are going. While the change isn’t huge, the growth of the area is easily noticeable as soon as I enter.

  Maximus is apparently in a really deep sleep, but I do my best not to disturb him. His sleeping is probably how he deals with the boredom when I am not doing anything. Still, it is a relief that my soul palace will continue to grow even when I don’t have time to work on it.

  Since I am here anyway, I store the memory of last night since that is something I don’t ever want to forget. The only regret that I have is that Myria wasn’t able to join us, but there will be another time. In fact, I am sure that she will insist on it just as soon as she gets back from the land bridge.

  After storing the memory I exit the soul palace, but the three of them are still asleep. Although, I do now remember something else that I wanted to do, use the T.V. to check on my world. However, that isn’t something that I need to do, I am just curious about a few things.

  If zombies haven’t overrun my world, I will probably not pay much attention to it. If they have, then I am going to treat it like a T.V. show and just watch when I have free time. Although, not that I think about it, if there are different earths, does that mean they have different anime?

  Or maybe certain anime series didn’t get cancelled and left hanging in other earths. That is definitely something that I have to check on now that I have thought of it. With the T.V. to act as a guide, I bet that Lin could target specific worlds to summon things from.

  The only downside is that I didn’t think about this before the rest of the summoned returned home. Having more earths to target would have increased the chances of finding what I am looking for. I really want to get up, go to the castle, and use the T.V. to check now that I have had the idea.
