The three of them hung out for a little while at the observatory. The round ceiling was opened and the night sky was clear. Agnes became sleepy, told the boys goodnight and went to her room.

  Moses went to lie down on the floor beside Dave who was watching the night sky.

  “Feeling better?“ Dave asked like he was making fun of Moses.

  “I'll survive” Moses said with a smile.

  “Thought you finally have control over your anger issues”'

  “When it comes to daily life, I have most l control” Moses said, staring at the sky. “But when magic is involved, I lose control sometimes”

  “Look at the sky” Dave said sentimentally. “To think that all of this was made from just an entity, the supreme”

  “I have a question” Moses said, turning on his side to face Dave.

  “What is it?”

  “How are you able to blueprint this entire castle in your head” Moses asked. Staring at Dave wildly.

  “I don't know” Dave said in a gentle scoff. “Guess it's the powers that I have”

  “Having powers doesn't change your biology” Moses said accusingly.

  “What's up with you” Dave asked, sitting up.

  “You saw something didn't you?“ Moses said. “While connecting with the supreme”

  Dave sighed and looked away. “It's really bad”

  “Tell me” Moses said.

  “I saw the lives of eight powerful sorcerers, they are the owners of the powers in the pendant” He looked at Moses. “They killed a lot of witches and warlocks, and they plan to destroy humanity”

  “Really?“

  “I'm telling the truth” They want someone who will continue the job they never got to finish” He gave a heavy breath out. “That's why they put their powers in the pendant”

  “But you wouldn't do it, right?“ Moses asked.

  “No” Dave said defensively. “But what's to say others wouldn't. We have to destroy the pendant” He lied back down on the grass. “Before anyone gets to it”

  “So you didn't just gain their powers, you gained their knowledge” Moses said. “That's why you were able to build the castle cuz it took me five months to learn how to make objects float” Moses looked at Dave.

  “Let's not play the hero for once” Moses said.

  Dave sighed. “Don't know how long I'll be able to do that” Moses chuckled.

  “Explain to me about the crystals” Dave said. “I'm yet to understand what they actually do and add to the universe, and what we can use their powers for”

  “Okay” Moses points his hand at the sky. “The supreme. Comprising six crystals and four elements, which help build the world and everything in it” He said in his cool gentle voice. “Time of course, creates time. When one is using time, it can be used to reverse certain objects, but can never fast forward it”

  “Time can be used to freeze objects, and only objects in place” Moses continued. “When time is your power drive, you can see visions, tell what will happen in the future or what has happened in the past in a particular place. “You could literally pause time for an entire city and reverse time for the whole Earth” He took a deep breath in. “But that kind of power is dangerous, so the supreme only gives it to a worthy heart”

  “Wow!“ Dave exclaimed.

  “Space, the silver crystal. Literally the fabric of space. Can be used to move objects, like telekinesis. Can be used to teleport objects, hold things together. When it's your power drive, you can teleport or have the ability to move the sun itself”

  “Holy!!” Dave exclaimed.

  “Also sorta given to the worthy heart, but not as worthy as time” Moses sat up. “Soul, used by the supreme to create life itself. Can be used by humans to detect energy, a human could have a terrible energy or a great one. Can be used to cure a person's soul of darkness and diseases. Can be used to open, block, receive or take away energy. When it's your power drive you can create creatures, only non intelligent creatures, an animal or a Creature of your imagination. You can soul drift”

  “Soul drift?“ Dave asked.

  “Yes. Coming out of your body while still alive”

  “Learning magic is really hard, all this things I mentioned about the crystals take time, resilience and energy to learn. The more you are trying to do with your powers, the more energy it takes, soon it reaches a limit and only those with more powers, AKA power drive can do those things”

  “I wonder what my power drive is”

  “We wouldn't know for sure until you get rid of your excess power” He lied down. “Reality. This is the crystal that brings things to existence, the main building blocks of the multiverse. Stars and galaxies and black holes. Reality and power work hand in hand to build the universe. Reality can also be used to move objects, but not living things. You can use it to manipulate the structure of things, can be used to reshape matter, but when it's your power drive, only then can you create matter from thin air. You also have the ability to manipulate more things, except for living things, the supreme never gave that ability. But I guess you probably can”

  “Damn” Dave said. “I'm overwhelmed”

  “I was too when my parents were teaching me” Moses said with a smile.

  “The mind crystal. The mind crystal is almost similar to the soul crystal. It's responsible for the existence of consciousness, though the supreme isn't conscious. One can basically use it to control the brain, to an extent. It can give calmness, relive stress, make one sleep. When it's your power drive you can read minds and really manipulate the brain, especially that of animals, you can give them consciousness of a particular thing or give them intelligence. Some Warlocks use it to train their pets”

  “Hope you haven't manipulated my mind before” Dave asked.

  “Not really, though there was a night you were freaking out about tomorrow's test and I used it to keep you calm”

  “Oh my gosh. I don't know if I should be angry or grateful” Moses chuckled.

  “Power, like I said, power works with reality to build the universe. It's literally energy. Like what I almost used to kill Agnes. I hope she can forgive me“ Moses said, his face turning remorseful as he looked down.

  “She will” Dave said.

  “Power helps build stars and galaxies and all the forms of energy we know, kinetic, heat, mechanical, chemical. It can also be used to move objects, create energy blasts, create electricity, basically create any form of energy. When it's your power drive you can literally create energy has much as a star, black hole, or pulsar”

  “A living atomic bomb” Dave said and they both give a small chuckle.

  “The elements are basically, you know, the elements. Controlling them is like being a bender from the Avatar series. Having anyone of them as your power drive enables you to create them out of thin air and gives you more power over them. Like me, wind being my power drive. I have the ability to create hurricanes the size of the solar system”

  Dave covered his mouth in shock. “No way”

  “Yes way” Moses said with a smile.

  “If you could do that what could I do”

  “I don't think we would want to find out” They chuckled.

  “And that's just point infinity zero nine, the supreme is really powerful”

  “More than the human mind can comprehend”

  “I also have another question”

  “I sorta heard you and Agnes say I can connect to all the crystals at once while I was connecting. Explain”

  “Oh... that. You see, sorcerers have the...“ He paused, thinking of a way to explain better. “Our hands and eyes are like a bridge between the supreme and us. Like wizards in movies, they have powers but still need a wand to actually use it. Same for us but it's our eyes and hands”

  “So?“

  “We hav our left eye, right eye, left hand, right hand. Making a total of four body parts. One body parts can connect to only one crystal or element. So one can only use up to four crystals and or elements at a time”

  “Ohh”

  “But you were able to connect to every single one at once, with your entire body glowing multicolored”

  “What if a magician doesn't have hands or eyes”

  “That's where saying if spells come in. Spells are basically just prayers, movies make it sound like a sacred language”

  “What if the magician also can't talk”

  “Okay that's just cruel” They laughed. “I don't think it's ever happened to anyone. And maybe we could also use other body parts who knows”

  “Hey” Dave asked, shifting the tone to a mildly tense one. “Do you like Agnes?“ He asked.

  Moses felt his heart beat faster, this isn't supposed to happen, did he like her or he was still scared of what he did to her. He sighed. “I mean...She's the most hottest-est woman ever” They chuckled. “But if you like her it's okay. I do want you to have a girlfriend”

  “What if she likes you” Dave said, even more serious.

  “Why don't you tell her you like her first, and we'll see. And let's not put ourselves into a love triangle” Dave smiled.

  “Love” Dave said with a sigh. “I've you ever just look at a friend or your family, and just be like...damn, I am a part of this. This is my friend right there. You literally feel just connected with everyone”

  “Awwn...“ Moses said, looking at Dave with a small blush. “Is that how you see me”

  “I mean.....yeah” Dave answered. “It's just phenomenal”

  “You're right” Moses said, staring back at the sky. “I feel love towards my family and you. The entire human species should be grateful they have each other, one to love and one who loves them”

  “It's getting late, we better have some sleep” Dave said.

  They stand up, Dave waved his hands and the ceiling closed. They went to their respective rooms and shut their eyes on their warm beds.

  Agnes was in her room, on her bed, staring at the ceiling. She was holding a purple magical orb of light in her hand, suddenly it turned multicolored. she gasped and immediately ended it.

  “Do I have more powers than normal too?“ She asked herself. She sighed and stared at the ceiling more before finally going back to sleep, late at night.
