Might of Mankind

Golden fme erupted, dyeing the grey world with brilliant light.

To'eva moved through the fme, marching toward Charlotte.

A Cerberus interrupted it, spewing out hellfire mixed with radiation waves.

  Retribution.

The Eldritch God delivered, shattering the beast in front of it. But Avalon decided to kill that body before Retribution could reach. Cerberus exploded, ending itself before shattering under Retribution.

Then a long and thin serpent got in, crawling into the hole in its chest— then fire erupted, burning the monster in hellfire and radiation.

Yet it kept on regenerating, fluttering its wings— and ripped them off. The wings began to distort, changing into two massive golden eyes.

Everyone here felt what it was.

The Eyes of Judgement. The oppressive eyes of an Eldritch God who peer through the very soul.

The others flinched, as if an infinite number of eyes were gazing at them, judging, scutinizing their every move. Like predators watching their prey, like the abyss staring back.

But to one person— it was nothing special.

Charlotte stepped forward as she smiled. She was someone who thrived under the spotlight, no matter if those gazes judged her as Guilty or Innocent.

In a fsh of lightning, when time seems to stop. Her halo shines the eight colors of humanity. To'eva dodged the Monarch by a hair's breadth. It instinctively knew that it could not let the golden bde touch it—for something else had blessed the sword.

But there is something else it did not account for—

Charlotte snapped her finger, "I call upon the Heroes of Mankind, to aid the safety of humanity. Open, Throne of Heroes."

  Then she whispered.

  "Gilgamesh (First Hero)"

The Construct of a hero wrapped in purple aura manifested— he punched the Eldritch God in the face mid-dodging before vanishing. Its face caved in, shattered by the First Hero and killed by him.

Before it could finish resurrecting, Charlotte spoke once again.

  "Pandora (Keeper of Hope)"

Pale bronze chains bind To'eva. Once it awakened, it saw thousands of chains wrapping around the entire Argent World of Chalk. Next to Charlotte, who was smiling, was a woman wrapped in a rusty orange aura.

This is what Charlotte got for offering the Utopic Dystopia. Until the total annihition of The Starlight Breaker— she can possess the power of Tiamat - summoning the greatest humans that had ever lived to aid her, even for a moment.

Charlotte thrust the sword forward, aiming straight for the monster's hollow chest. Fortunately, it exerted the power of Entropy and Void at the same time— shattering the chains and avoiding the effect of the sword.

Yet it left the fme touched its very existence, permanently scarring it to the very core.

  "Cyrus II (King of Kings)"

A knight wrapped in a golden aura swung his sword, cleaving To'eva in half.

Before death touched it again, the Eldritch God delivered Retribution upon Charlotte.

  CLANG!!!

The force of the sword and its fist cshed, recoiling both of them backward. It revived again, looking at its right arm, with pitch-bck spots on the fist that collided with the sword.

"Lu Bu (Unmatched across the Earth)"

A warrior wrapped in a crimson aura burst forth, his spear stabbed into its shoulder. And in a single motion, its left arm was sliced off.

Tendrils of cosmic energy reached out in an attempt to retrieve its lost limb. But that ultimately failed.

"Einstein (Architect of Retivity), Zeno of Elea (Questioner of Reality), Newton (Pioneer of Truth), Tes (God Buster)"

Its arms were pushed further away, the world beyond the calcution made the distance between To'eva and its arm infinite. Then lightning pierced through the monster, sending it back.

Standing behind Charlotte was the man who saw through the meaning of reality, the man who questioned the world around him in ancient times, the man who opened the path for understanding, and the man who brought the power of gods to humanity.

Each one brought forth a new age for humanity with their minds and inventions. Now they stand at the call of their Guardian.

"Oscar Wilde (Poet of Paradox), Van Gogh (Beauty in Madness), Shakespeare (Master of Tragedy)"

The artisans came forth and with each stroke of their pen and brushes, reality warped into madness and chaos. Yet before anything can happen, Void shatters and nullifies everything.

It quickly got its arm back, yet the left arm became undeniably weaker—

To'eva barely dodged the almost lightspeed attacks from Charlotte, who kept swinging her sword wildly - forming a web with no room to counter.

But with its Eyes of Judgement exerting their full power, Charlotte flinched at the sudden intensity. Creating a gap for it to deliver Retribution—

"Romulus (Progenitor of Civilization)", she whispered.

The form of a king wrapped in a bronze aura stood in its way.

  BOOM!!!

The Retribution of an Eldritch God cshed with the manifestation of civilization itself. Creating a deafening explosion.

And ultimately, Romulus was stronger. Shattering the left arm of The Starlight Breaker.

And before vanishing, the King of Emperor gave it a Curse. A Curse named Futility, shows that it cannot defy humanity - thus, its left arm cannot regenerate anymore after cshing with an existence as firm and solid as the man who brought forth civilization.

Before vanishing, he looked back at Charlotte with a smile, nodding. She chuckled lightly, waving his Construct goodbye.

"Escation Level Maximum: Requiem of Humanity."

The Argent World of Chalk burst into fme for a moment— then all was absorbed by her sword. A shining golden bde, burning hot with the evil of mankind.

  Charlotte swung it lightly—

  BOOM!!!

In an instant, a canyon was left where To'eva once stood. In quick succession, she swung her sword horizontally, slicing apart the chalk buildings in the distance. To'eva dodged once again, jumping into the air far from her reach.

The wyverns in the sky roared, firing beams of atomic energy. Knocking the monster down.

Charlotte's swung her sword again. This time—

  To'eva was sliced in half.

The fme of Malice and the Fire of the World seared through its existence. Then it felt the touch— the power of something ancient and foreign.

Darkness began to cover its body. The Starlight Breaker desperately tried to engulf itself in Void, fighting against the fire that burned its very existence.

  It remembered.

It was a tool of the World, a camity that guaranteed destruction so that Life could flourish and strengthen.

Over three billion years of defeat after defeat, death after death. The mindless monster yearned for an escape, to get away from this cycle of death.

Yet the very Sun of this system denied it, refusing to do anything about its plights. Because to the Sun, it was a foreign being who was left behind.

Then it met that human, one who spoke to it about life and living, yet she denied its very existence. A contradiction, a human.

Not because The Starlight Breaker is a profane being outside of the ws of the universe— because it annoyed Charlotte. A simple reason, one filled with pettiness.

How it wishes to strangle her and snap that thin and perfect neck.

Despite its existence burning away, it pieces itself back together. the Master of Mankind awaited it.

  "Scathách (God Syer)"

The Construct of a woman in a deep magenta aura appeared, she engaged in close combat, fighting To'eva with a longsword bearing the Celtic knot. The master swordsman who was known widely as the origin of the term God Syer. She skillfully deflected and redirected the punches coming her way.

  All to create a path.

"Remus (Twilight of the Divine).", Charlotte pointed forward.

In an instant, before it can even notice— the golden light of the divine sughterer tore it apart. It struggled, but it pieced itself back together again.

"Catherine II (Ruler of Iron Frost), Olga of Kiyv (Avenger Saint), Ada Lovece (Mother of Machine), Marie Curie (Alchemist of the Atom)"

The light of the women who made their mark on history showed themselves. The Tsarina of Russia rushed forward with a smile, swinging a rapier, and stabbed right through To'eva's shoulder. The Avenger let loose birds made of fme, incinerating its limbs. The First Coder finished her calcution, dispying a path that surpassed Charlotte's own calcutions. And the one who found radiation stepped forward, hugging the struggling monster, and exploded.

Charlotte snapped her finger, opening the Book of Akasha. She plunged Marmyadose into the book, quenching the burning bde in the thick oil of imagination.

Despite being extremely wounded, To'eva still charged at Charlotte.

  "Bruce Lee (Peak of Humanity)"

The Construct of a martial artist appeared, delivering nine punches in a single second. Each blow was like a truck hitting it, sending it back.

  Charlotte did not stop there.

  "Andrew Jackson (Bloodsoaked Ruler)"

Just as it nded, the Construct of a bloody president appeared, swinging his axe with a trail of crimson aura following behind. To'eva stopped the axe with a growl, the Eyes of Judgement gred at the Construct, exerting their power and shattering his form. Then it turned its gaze at Charlotte.

  "El Cid (King of Knights)"

The King of knights and the greatest knight in history appeared before Charlotte, expertly deflecting the incoming fist. Stopping it momentarily.

  "Vd III (Lord Impaler)"

In a single second, To'eva was impaled by hundreds of rusted pikes, rising into the sky. The Construct of the Protector of Romania tipped his hat to her before vanishing.

  "Morgan Pendragon (Dragon Queen)"

A mage calling upon the power of the world cast her spells, sending a wave of blue fme at the monster. Yet it dashed right through—

Kalpas appeared, blocking the incoming attack. Retribution descended, shattering their form. It still has that much power left...

Though Kalpas reappeared right behind it, "World Authority: Indraitra."

A gaping maw made of earth and vines snapped at To'eva, swallowing it whole— then a burst of purple energy destroyed the attack.

Charlotte follows up with the pressure, "Ivan IV (Iron Frost Tyrant)"

Like thunder, the cane of the tyrant struck, To'eva narrowly dodged the ground-shattering attack.

"Cyrus II (King of Kings), Romulus (Progenitor of Civilization), Charlemagne (Inheritor of Civilization)", she snapped her finger again.

Constructs of the three men who made human civilization, who defined what civilization is, the fathers of mankind themselves showed up and surrounded Charlotte, in an instant, they cut To'eva apart. The weight of human civilization, from the king who was Titled the First Great, the king who created the Eternal Empire of Humanity, whom echoes can still be felt to this day, and the man who saved civilization from the brink of colpse and set forth to another era of prosperity, everything was too much for To'eva.

It let out a defiant roar, tearing up the Inner World, heading toward Charlotte.

  "Baldwin IV (Indomitable Spirit)"

The masked king wearing white robe whose willpower was stronger than any in history appeared before her, with his hands csped in a prayer— a barrier was erected in front, cshing against the waves of Entropy and Retribution.

  "Paracelsus (Sage of Revetion)"

A giant Alchemical circle appeared in front of Charlotte and the robed figure next to her. The Father of Chemistry and Master of Alchemy, the one who id out the groundwork for modern Alchemy as well as Chemistry.

With his assistance, and with the calcutions given by Ada Lovece. Charlotte's final move began.

  "Deconstruct."

The buildings around her colpsed, turning into a sea of True Blood, yet they all swirl toward a single destination—

  "Reconstruct."

Charlotte and the Construct of Paracelsus grasped the air, condensing the Rubedo in front— and created a blood-red stone - the Philosopher's Stone.

"Come at me.", Charlotte provoked it as she took the stone.

To'eva moved, lunging at Charlotte like a wild beast.

"I offer to Humanity.", she crushed the Philosopher's Stone, unleashing the power of the object akin to a wish-granting device.

Alchemy is all about exchange, offering something to gain something with the same value. So Charlotte offered a miracle to her very own Soul, the amalgamation of humanity.

Charlotte and the Akasha are the same beings, but at the same time, different. Akasha is the name of the protector of humanity, Charlotte is simply Charlotte. The proofs are the beings residing in Akasha, how can such vastly different people share the same Soul?

Because a human is made up of three parts, not just the Soul.

As the blood exploded out, Charlotte thrust through the cloud of True Blood - coating the sword - and reached To'eva.

The Sword of Heroes pierced through the Eldritch God. All the power built up inside the sword exploded out.

With one final strike, she burned through the monster. No st words, no triumphant decration. Charlotte was just fulfilling her duty.

The stars in her eyes returned to their silver color. And most of all... Marmyadose began to vanish. Charlotte was reminded of Excalibur, which had vanished because it did not choose her. The same was happening.

  But she did not mind.

The sword had judged its purpose was fulfilled. It simply left and returned to the temple where Cadmus stayed.

"Fu...", Charlotte let out a deep breath.

The Argent World of Chalk crumbled and she returned to her normal state. Though she left unfortunate that she could not kept the power of Memory. To be able to summon Constructs of the heroes in the past, even the previous holders of Akasha. It was simply awesome.

She spammed it as much as she could, knowing it would not st. With a chuckle, Charlotte summoned Quirinus to support herself.

  "Ah... finally."

Once and for all, the Fragment of the Universe was deleted from existence.

But to Charlotte... as well as the ones surrounding her... it was not over yet.

So Charlotte went around and picked up her weapons, her senses keeping track of the beasts and the sitting Lord of Samsara.

She picked up War Symphony, and... Carnwennan— she vanished.

Using the brief second, she pulled the trigger on Avalon— and she shattered the skull of Ramses.

"Come forth, my World of Chalk."

As the beasts shrieked, they were about to attack Kalpas, they turned around to find Charlotte smiling. The golden sands of a beautiful oasis scattered, and they were dragged into her Inner World, inside the space of her Soul.

Sand and chalk intertwined, buildings and monoliths erected from the ground.

"Welcome to our final stage.", Charlotte smiled as she let go of the knife.

The majority of the hivemind is here, Kalpas cannot switch bodies in this world. And best of all, they cannot escape.

"Shar, Pan... I am Charlotte Silvi, the Akasha...", with a wide crazed smile on her face, she decred.

  "Let us kill each other."
