  After witnessing firsthand the power of Vd and his almighty magid swordsmanship, alongside the power and magic of Chris, Gofumina and her gobbling squadron quickly realized this ehing was just hopeless.

  “Hahaha… yeah, let’s go back.” Gofumina ughed, quickly nodding after realizing there was simply no point in staying anymore.

  “T-This is too much… Even for us.”

  “Wait, what the hell? Is he really just a vampire?!”

  They quickly began moving without hesitation while Vd and his party wiped out the Dark Spirits that they themselves had drawn to this area to prey on them, whided up being a good hunting session for them instead.

  “I’m getting the hell out of here… What was I even thinking with trying this out anyway?” Gofumina thought.

  As they were about to run away, however, they bumped into something, hitting their faces headfirst into really hard… crystals. This happened often with goblins; ohey lost focus or paheir eyes often didn’t see where they were going.

  “Huh?!”

  In that moment, as they quickly looked up to who they bumped into, Gofumina aeam gasped in horror, realizing five huge knights, wearing armor made out of emerald jewels, stood before them, overflowing with a strange, venomous, and green-colored aura.

  Their breathing was also very heavy, as if they were being asphyxiated by their own armor, and they were eae at least the height and bulk of an Orc Warrior.

  And as their eyes glowed bright green… They started talking.

  “Intruders that dare interrupt our rituals must be eliminated…”

  “Prepare yourselves, heretics that don’t worship the Emerald Maiden…”

  “Your deaths shall not be swift, as these Swords of Corrosion shall offer your body to our Emerald Maiden!”

  “Melt to death!”

  “Die and bee oh her!”

  They charged forward, all five of them at once, swinging their emerald bdes against Gofumina and her goblin panions!

  “W-Wait a sed!”

  “They’re attag us?!”

  “Who are these guys?”

  “The hell is the Emerald Maiden?!”

  The goblins panicked, pulling out their ons and intercepting their blows, although most were blown away by the impact alone!

  Gofumina screamed as she realized her sword was beginning to melt; the emerald swords wielded by the knights were stantly exuding a strange, green-colored acid. Upon tact with her sword, it began to melt the metal while it released a disgusting-smelling smoke as it burned.

  “Fug hell… Ohing after anive me a break!”

  As she pihe knight in front of her charged forward, swinging their sword forward stantly; their teique was rather g, but they made up for it with their immense physical power and speed.

  CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

  Gofumina mao hold her own by using mostly every single Skill she had at her disposal. From [Goblin’s Light Footsteps] to move rapidly around uerrain, [Great Swords Mastery] to move her huge sword dexterously, [Green Skin’s Relentless Spirit] to decrease her Stamina ption and increase her Stats when ered, [Are Seo expand her Senses and mao prediing, devastating blows, and stly [Great Parry] to parry away blows occasionally and mao strike!

  CRAAASH!

  “G-Gugh?!”

  The knight groaned as he saw Gofumina’s mighty sword’s [Great Parry] finally mao ect, allowio not only reflect a deadly blow but strike back with full power.

  Not many ever expected a small goblin woman like her to swing such a huge sword, and this was due to Gofumina having trated and specialized purely on physical strength even as a goblin.

  She was a goblin girl fan and made her Avatar the goblin girl of her dreams and fully itted to it to the end!

  Her sword didn’t mao pierce through the emerald armor; despite being made of precious jewels, it was tougher than she imagined.

  The Emerald Knight screamed, suddenly feeling the sword pierce through his left ribs and tear down a rge piece of his bones and flesh.

  As Gofumina smiled and quickly pulled out her ko aim for the man’s neck, the man quickly swung his sword back at her, catg her off guard.

  She evaded a deadly cleaving blow as she quickly kicked the man’s head and pushed his body down, pointing her dagger at his neck.

  CLASH!

  The Emerald Knight screamed in agony as Gofumina’s cold dagger’s bde stabbed his ne between the crevices of his armor, easily pierg through his mail c his neck.

  However, even amidst his death, the Emerald Knight screamed, and as he still pointed his bde back at her, Gofumin was uo evade, quickly using her sed reserve dagger and attempting to parry the blow.

  As she became desperate, the sword was successfully parried, but its aura covered her gloves and her dagger, beginning to rapidly melt them.

  She threw away her gloves and her sed dagger after that, before quickly usiher dagger and stabbing the man’s neck several times; he finally died after the tenth stab.

  “Haahh… Hahhh… W-What a tough son of a bitch! I almost died there… And I don’t want to deal with a death penalty in this damned game…”

  As she quickly sighed in relief, she gnced around her, calling if the goblins were still alive or if they escaped…

  A, it was awfully silent.

  “Guys? Where are you guys- Ah!”

  She screamed the moment she ended up tumbling into one of her goblin panions; his body looked disfigured, as there was green, oozy acid stantly ing his flesh and bones.

  He was dead…

  “N-No, shit!”

  She ran around, looking for the rest, finding them in simir situations. Two others were dropped dead on the bck grass, and another was being carried, his body melting while an emerald knight brought him towards him, his body impaled into the bde.

  “Heretics are the luckiest of them all… You have the privilege of… dying by her graceful touch… by the Emerald Maiden’s lovely kiss!”

  He swung his bde, dropping the dismembered, melting body of his ally.

  She didn’t know any of these goblins for lohan a day, though, but they were still her team, and she was responsible for their well-being.

  Gofumina tried to remain calm, but the weight of despair and that she had failed these men and women made her quickly feel horrible.

  “N-No, no, no! Guys! Shit… fuck!”

  The four Emerald Knights slowly walked towards her, their swords overflowing with red auras. They didn’t even flinch after they saw one of their own dead.

  “You fuckers will pay for this!” Gofumina quickly ran away from there, rushing towards her victim’s body and st it inside her iory instantly.

  “I ’t outrun them for long! The only option is… Ugh! Do I have to?! Fug hell!”

  She ran towards the group of Dark Spirits, and the the Vampire Prince from below.

  “SOMEONE HELP! PLEASE! SOMEONE!”

  Vd, who was trating on training his swordsmanship, didn’t hear her at first, focused on his battle. But someone else did.

  “Huh? A goblin?”

  Emerlinda gnced down below, notig four emerald knights walking towards the goblin girl, carrying huge swords with them.
