{Levi}
As I sat down on the couch in my living room when I got home from the Police Station my mind was reeling from the bombshell of information that was just dropped on me. Eve's father is the guy running the factions that want to rebel against the Organization. I can't even begin to fathom how Eve must be feeling right now. Of course Zoey's worried for her mother and I don't blame her. I'm worried about her too even though I have a feeling she'll be back home soon. Or at least that's what I hope.
No sooner had I sat down, my cell phone rang. "Hello?"
"Hello? Is this Levi?" A voice asked. I recognized that voice. It was the voice of Aaron, John's brother.
I groaned. "Look if you called me to ask me to change my mind about being friends with John again-"
"No, that's not what this is about," Aaron said. After taking a shaky breath he said, "John's dead."
I gasped. "What! What happened?"
"I don't know. His body was sent to us in a bodybag and there was a note saying that we won't be able to track down the killer," Aaron said. "The note also said that you weren't the killer."
"Of course I'm not the killer. Just because I ended our friendship doesn't mean that I want to kill him!" I said.
"I know that," Aaron said. "I just can't believe he's gone and I also saw on the news that your wife and brother were kidnapped. Do you think they were kidnapped by the same person who killed John?"
"I have no idea. At the moment I'm just waiting on information from Eve's Boss to track down her location. Eve does have a microchip on her but whoever kidnapped her knows about the microchips and knows how to disable them," I said.
Aaron sighed, "So we're dealing with a smart criminal then? Lovely."
"No kidding. So I think the only thing we can do right now is wait. It's only been two days since Eve was kidnapped and the Police called me down to the station again to see if the kidnappers contacted me for some sort of ransom. The kidnappers don't want her for ransom. They want her for something else and unfortunately I can't tell you what that is," I said.
"Alright well, we'll let you know when John's buried so you can go visit his grave later when everything has settled down," Aaron said.
It surprised me that John's family didn't want me at his funeral. "Why don't you want me at the funeral?"
"I mean you can come if you want? I just figured with everything going on with your wife and brother's kidnapping that you might not want to deal with it," Aaron answered.
"I'll at least go to the funeral. Just let me know when and where it is," I said.
"Okay then, I'm going to go lay down. Have a good night and hopefully your wife and brother will be home soon," Aaron said. He then hung up the phone.

I smiled as I watched Eve and George on the security footage from the training room as they took on my soldiers. They managed to kill a couple of my soldiers until Diego came in with a tranquilizer and knocked them out with it. I have a feeling that Eve's Demon Power will get to the point that she will be too strong for silver chains and tranquilizers won't work to calm her down anymore.
After that Diego sent Eve and George back to their rooms. A moment later Diego entered my office and he didn't look happy. "Did they really think they were going to just fight their way out?"
I snorted. "It looked like it."
"That's not funny Blade!" Diego said.
"Oh come on Diego," I said. "You had to know that they were going to try something sooner or later. Besides, I want Eve to be in tip top shape when we have our little showdown and I ultimately die by her hand."
Diego sighed, "You're seriously planning on going through with that idea? What am I going to do without you? Why do you have to abandon people like that? You could stay alive and make Eve bow to you."
I shook my head. "That's going to happen and besides, sooner or later an Enforcer will pop up and finish the job that Eve started if she fails to kill me. Then that very Enforcer will go after you. But there are two more things that need to be taken care of before that happens."
"And what might that be?" Diego asked.
"Well first of all, I need to pick a successor," I said,
"You have a successor right here," Diego said. "I'll do it."
I raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure?"
Diego nodded. "I'm sure I can do it." He paused. "But what happens if something happens to me?"
"Ronda's next in line then," I said. "Now that that's taken care of, the second thing I need to do is figure out when I'm going to challenge Eve."
"Why not challenge her today?" Diego suggested.
I shook my head. "Nope. I have my reasons for not wanting to challenge her today. But it's not happening."
Diego shrugged. "Alright then."
Diego had no idea why I was holding off fighting Eve. The main reason is because I'll admit that I'm afraid of her. Isn't that funny? I'm afraid of my own daughter. Her Demon Power is stronger and it's only getting stronger by the day. The reason I was able to break out of her hold was that her Demon Power isn't totally stable at the moment. No one else but another Agent who has Demon Power would be able to notice.
Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.
From what I know of there's very few people within the Organization that have the Demon Power ability, that includes Eve and I, then there's my brother Michael, and two other Agents who were Cadets at the time I left the Organization. I was able to find out that they barely graduated from boot camp even though they had Demon Power. Their Demon Power wasn't as strong as Eve's and their other abilities weren't as strong either. They got the short end of the stick somehow and Uncle 42 thought they were going to be Prodigy's too.
I also have a feeling that once every Agent who has Demon Power is dead then that ability will be no more. The other reason is because I want Eve and George in the training trying to kill as many soldiers that I have. Mostly because I want to kill off some of the weaker ones.
"Diego?" I said.
"Yes?" Diego replied.
"How many weak soldiers do we have?" I asked.
Diego scratched the back of his head. "I don't know. Maybe a couple dozen. Why?"
"Good put them in the training area with George and Eve," I said. "I'm pretty sure they'll try and fight their way out again."
Diego's eyes went wide. "But what if one of the supposed 'weaker ones' manages to kill Eve or George first?"
I shook my head. "If they are as weak as you say then they won't stand a chance."
"Why do you want the soldiers to fight George and Eve anyway?" Diego said.
I gave him a look and said, "Why do you think?"
"Seriously! Why can't I just kill them?" Diego said with a hint of annoyance in his voice.
"Because what's the fun in quick deaths like that when we have Eve and George to entertain?" I responded. "Any other day I would say go ahead and kill them but not this time. At least Eve and George won't be bored if I do it this way."
Diego rolled his eyes. "Of course they won't be bored."
"Right so pick out more soldiers for Eve and George to fight," I ordered.
Diego groaned. "Alright. I'll take care of it."
I nodded. "Good."
After Diego left I thought, Don't you worry Eve. We'll have our little showdown and I'm quite certain that you'll kill me. You'll kill me and then you'll be sent back home…

{Eve}
We've been held captive for two more days. That means it's been about a week since George and I have been kidnapped by Blade.
It's been really annoying because we've been let into the training area with at least ten different people and every time that happens it always ends up in a bloodbath. After a bloodbath a man named Diego comes into the training area and escorts us out to get cleaned up and changed into a set of clean clothes. The clothes that he gives us always look a lot like our uniforms that we wear while on the job.
So far we've been let into the training area at least twice. It makes me wonder what Blade is up to. He's planning something and since he hasn't shown his face yet I'm going to assume that he's planning something big. But it doesn't matter because I'm going to kill him and go home.
When we were in the training area it gave me an opportunity to observe George's fighting style and what his abilities are. From what I've been able to observe he has Magnetic Abilities meaning he can turn anyone and anything into a magnet with just a touch of a finger. That ability can come in handy when you're disabling your opponent. He can also turn into a Puma, he has Matrix abilities just like I do and he can use the element of wind. He had many other abilities besides that that I was to figure out what they might be.
I guess Blade decided that I might be bored while I'm on my downtime when I'm not making a mess out of the training area. He had the man named Diego give me some books to read and pen and paper to write with. When Diego left after giving me a meal and the notebook and pen along with a book I started to use my Tracking Abilities to figure out how many people were left in the building where each hallway in the building lead to. I started with our route to the training area. That became the center point of my plan.
I had no doubt in my mind that since Diego was always sent in to calm things down after the bloodbath he would probably have tranquilizers on hand to knock me out if needed. So I had to keep that thought in mind for my plan of escaping and killing Blade to work. It also seemed that Blade knew what Agents can eat and what they can't. So I ate as I made my plan.

I chuckled as I watched the security cameras watching Eve plan her escape. I mean of course she would do that. Any good Agent would do that immediately if they could. She would've already been found and released if it weren't for me using my devices to jam the signal of the microchip she has in her. I'm going to take a guess and say that Levi had it done because he was worried about her while she's on her job.
The microchip is reserved for spouses or significant others of an Agent so that they could keep track of an Agent when they're out on a mission and when they're set to return for a peace of mind. However, the microchips can be abused in relationships by an abusive partner. It's happened before so if the abuse comes to light (and ninety percent of the time it does) the microchip is then removed. But in Levi's case I have a feeling he had the microchip done out of genuine concern for his wife.
That's comforting to me because it tells me that Eve married into a good family despite them being rich. Sometimes rich families can be abusive just because they have money and can pay people in power to look the other way.
The family Eve married into is kind and caring. It's a shame I won't be able to meet my granddaughter but that's just the way things are.
"What's so funny Blade?" Diego asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Eve," I answered. "She's smart because planning her escape. That's good because any good Agent would think to do the same thing. And I think George is trying to come up with something as well. I can tell just by watching the security cameras. I mean just look at the way she's drawing. Most are lines and some sort of symbols right out of the textbook about figuring out escape plans from boot camp!"
Diego took a look at the security cameras and laughed, "Well it's about damn time! But it makes me wonder if she has tracking abilities like you do? Because she's putting more than one symbol in certain spots of her map."
I thought about it. "It would make sense if she did because that would mean she got it from me. Just like she got her Demon Power from me. Children of Agents tend to inherit a lot of their abilities from their parents. Eve also has the ability to wield electricity just like her mother. I know because the doctor that handled her birth got shocked by her quite frequently. I always thought it was funny when that happened. Lauren on the other hand didn't. Although Eve never zapped Lauren when she held her. Probably because she knew Lauren would zap her back."
Diego chuckled. He composed himself and his gaze turned serious. "So what do we do about this?"
I shrugged. "Nothing. Because I'm going to face her very soon anyway. Oh and don't take any tranquilizers after you take them to the training area. I expect them to try and fight their way out again very soon. Have the soldiers fight back with all their strength just like you normally would. I know for a fact how strong George and Eve are."
"So when do you want me to take them to the training area?" Diego asked.
"Tomorrow and let them fight their way out this time. Don't step in to calm things down," I ordered.
Diego sighed. Without warning he pulled me into his arms and kissed me. When he let go he said, "Since that's the case can we have sex one last time?"
I nodded. "Sure."
We had sex and the passion that came with it was high. I didn't mind because this would be the last time we would be together like this. I'm pretty that once I die one of two things will happen. Either Diego will grieve for me for a period of time and find someone new or he'll kill himself because of not being able to go on without me. Either way it's his choice and not mine. That's exactly why I choose Ronda to lead if something happened to Diego.
Ronda will probably end up leading and I have no doubt that she'll be a damn good leader. Hopefully underneath her guidance my army will continue to grow even after I'm gone.
