“I am ready.” Bke stood with a determined expression, eyebrows ected. He was strapped in mail beh his attire and had numerous hidden on around his body. Simirly, Bke had a bag, full of tents needed for survival. Shurikens, kunais, some explosive papers, a water fsh, bandages and a few poison bombs. He repared as he could be. Initially, Bke wao wait a few more weeks, at least after he mao perfect his ice pistol, but he had to aow.
Yahiko, Nagato and Konan stood behind him, worried expressions on their faces.
Bke looked around. After Bke’s warning, Yahiko acted fast, colleg all of the essential and anything that could give the enemy any intel about them. Theold everyone what was happening, excluding Bke’s story, as the shinobi began to move with some mesmerizing efficy.
They gathered all the food that they could carry, some crops that they have been growihe building and promptly disappeared through the underground tunnels. Now, they were hiding in some artificial hole that they have made within the ground. It was dark and smelled of shit, but it was not a bad hiding spot.
“As I have mentioned, If I don’t e back within a month, then assume I am dead and a your own. If I do e back though, there is one issue. I have no idea where I will pop out from.” Bke said the st part with a little giggle, letting the serious atmosphere disperse.
“What do you mean you don’t where you will pop out from?” Yahiko raised an eyebrow, turning to Konan. “I am telling you, Konan. These st few days Bke has been ag like a plete psyaybe the food from this area is not doing him any good?”
Konan shrugged, an amused smile on her face.
Nagato scratched his head, the only who remained serious, yet obviously fused. “Do you mean that you will…teleport?”
“Yeah, something like that. Wait a sed, I will show you.” Bke closed his eyes as the trio stared with i. As Bke kept his eyes closed, he raised his hand towards on the walls and a pristinely white door rose up from the underground. Opening his eyes, Bke looked to see a horrified expression on Nagato’s eyes.
“What is this? The chakra flow in this…is this even chakra?” Nagato was mumbling.
Yahiko was no less shook despite not seeing whatever Nagato was seeing, whilst Konan just stared at Bke like he was some exotic creature. Yahiko took a deep breath. “You are full of surprises. Maybe we should have a more ih versation about your ce you e back.”
“I won’t reveal the secret of my .” Bke said jokingly, imitating those members. Yahiko ughed and Konan giggled. Nagato, oher hand, was already o the door, reag out to open it. Bke caught his hand.
“Hey, hey, Nagato. What are y to do?”
Nagato returned a bnk look. “This thing is toe. I have never seen anything like that.”
“The world is big.” Bke shrugged, reag out with another hand and twisting the doorknob. Nagato kept looking, though he took a little step back. In Bke’s vision, he was simply seeing darkness. The door literally led into the abyss. It was like stepping into os, yet it had no stars.
Bke thought for a sed. “Actually, Nagato, I have never experimented with this, but maybe you want to try to enter inside? Rather…try stig in your finger first and see what happens.”
Konan had a ed expression. “Are you sure that is a good idea?”
“Nope, not really.” Bke answered truthfully. “But, if Nagato could ehen you three would be able to help me with…finding my new summon, you know. For some reason, that possibility totally escaped my mind.”
“I will try.” Nagato stated, stepping forward. It seemed that he would have done so even if Bke didn’t ask.
Yahiko put a hand on his shoulder. “Be careful, Nagato.”
Nagato made eye tact with Yahiko and nodded. Bke stood o Nagato, staring with i as Nagato stretched out his hand and tapped the bck wall. It didn’t gh. Then, Nagato put his entire palm against the wall and nothing happened again. By his side, Bke stretched his own hand, toug the bck surface. It got submerged within the darkness. It felt as if his hand was uer.
Nagato was clearly even more fused, pushing his entire body against the bess, meetiance, whilst Bke was having no issues whatsoever. Eventually, Nagato gave up. “Your power is…mysterious, Bke. Perhaps even more mysterious than my own eyes.”
“I would be gd if that was true.” Bke returned a smile, bringing oo Nagato’s face as well.
Konan was staring into the darkness.
“Where does it lead?”
Bke turned serious, cheg his ons and whether everything was in pce.
“Opportunity.”
Sighing, Bke everyone in turn. “It’s time for me to go. Remember what I have told you. Also, my guess is that, if I do e back, the door should appear in the same location. Hopefully, you will not be discovered, but if you are and have to switch hiding spots, then che this pce periodically. Please.”
“Sure thing, Bke.” Yahiko stepped forward and took something out of his pocket. Bke looked down to see a Rain Vilge headband in his hands. “I know that you aren’t from this Vilge, but I feel that you have grown on Akatsuki. You are part of us now, and I want you to know that too.”
Bke sidered for a moment before taking the headband. Then, he smiled, and took Yahiko into a hug. Yahiko wasn’t expeg it, but he eased into it, hugging Bke with one hand as well. Bke then gave a hug to Konan and Nagato as well, thanking them.
“I appreciate this…” Bke said as he stared at the headband. “You know, I have been feeling out of pce for a few years now. Back at home, I always felt like I didn’t belong. Yet, here, despite how dangerous it is, I, at least, don’t feel like a stranger.”
“You find life in the pces you least expect.” Nagato stated, drawing surprised gnces from the rest. He coughed, blushing slightly. “What? I read that from a novel.”
“Liar. When was the st time you read something?” Konan nudged him from the side.
Nagato blushed even more and decided to simply remain quiet.
Then a moment of silence desded upon the group, as they exged gnces with each other and nodded. Bke took a deep breath. Fear is death.
“Okay, it is time for me to go.” Bke turned around, fag the darkness. He heard Yahiko, Konan and Nagato wishing him good luck. Bke waved at them with the headband that he received as he slid it up his left hand, tightening it around his bicep.
Then, without further ado, Bke stepped inside of the darkness. It felt like his body was uer, but he could still breathe, yet he couldn’t see anything. It was pletely dark or, rather, simply absent of light, until it was not. Bke saw a light in the distance, and he walked there, though he didn’t uand what he was stepping on.
Eventually, Bke was faced with another door, though it was fully golden. It shoh radiance, urging Bke to open it, so he did. The doorknob twisted and Bke went inside, suddenly feeling sunlight attag his face. Opening his eyes, Bke had to put a hand in the air to protect himself from the rays, as he stared around in awe.
A different world.
The air was crisp and filled with a mix of sts—wildflowers, fresh earth, and the faint aroma of something magical. The streets bustled with adventurers, merts, and townsfolk. Some carried ons glinting in the sunlight, while others lugged sacks filled with the spoils of their advehe hum of life was everywhere—calls of merts hawking rare goods, the g of a bcksmith hammering out a bde, and the faint strains of a bard singing.
Bke marvelled at the city’s architecture—stone buildings adorned with intricate carvings, and magical mpposts lining the cobbled streets. Before him y the sprawling city of Orario, its t walls gleaming in the midday sun. At the heart of the city, the Babel Tower stretched impossibly high into the sky, a bea of power, marking the gateway to the infamous Dungeon below.
Bke was in a different world, where gods have desded to live among the mortal, where heroes go and fight within the dungeon, where Nightmare has died and seeks revenge. Bke pushed away his awe of the y for a sed, assessing the situation. Everything that he had taken stayed with him. Turning around, Bke saw that the door that he had left from was just an ordinary one from this side.
Bke wondered how the hell did this Summoning System work, but he khat asking those questions was definitely out of his calibre right now. As Bke was about to walk away, he suddenly heard a shout. “Help! Thief! She stole my dagger!”
Turning around, Bke saw a little kid rushing towards his dire, chased by an angry man with shining armour. He was about to step away, until he reized the little creature. Loli? What was her name again? Anyway, it was definitely her, for she was small and had a huge, ripped hood c her head.
Seeing Bke in the way, the girl dashed past him, only to suddenly hit her head against Bke’s chest. The girl stumbled backwards, hitting her butt on the ground, as she stared at Bke from below in clear fusion. How did this man just appear there? Or was he that much faster than she was?
The angry man behind caught up, shouting insults, but stopping upon seeing Bke. “Good one. Now get the hell out. I already had a bad day, but this little bitch rui pletely. I am going to have my fuing her up.”
The man was already reag down towards the obviously scared girl. Bke grabbed the man’s hand, stopping it. The man raised his eyes, staring at Bke with some amusement. “Fellow, what do you think you are doing? Are you expeg some sort of reward for stopping her? You ain’t getting anything. Now, screw off.”
The man tried to push away Bke’s hand, but he realized that he couldn’t do it. Frowning, the armoured man tried to push Bke’s hand with more foro success. Biting his lip, the man grabbed Bke’s wrist with his free hand. Yet, Bke remained unmoving.
“Move.”
Bke stared hard into the man’s eyes. The man was staring at Bke with extreme ferocity, yet, in the end, the ma go. There was something in Bke’s face, something deeper than just anger.
The man stepped away, whilst Bke bent down, making eye tact with the girl. He stared at her and beamed a little smile. “I am sorry I was in the way. What is your name?”
The girl looked at Bke apprehensively. “Lili.”
“Ohh…so it was Lili.” Bke smiled in tent, seeing the fused expression on the girl’s face. Whilst Bke was smiling, he stretched out one of his hands, palm up. Bke pointedly g the dagger in Lili’s hand. Lili bit her lip, but, in the end, she gave it to Bke. Seeing her pained expression, Bke fumbled in his bag, produg one shuriken, which he pced into Lili’s hands.
She stared at the on with i and some apprehension, assessing Bke from toes to head again. Now that she thought about it, the man looked extremely strange. He was handsome and his attire and the strange headband on his bicep stood out. She would have definitely remembered the man if he was a local.
“I will give you a 20 seds head start.” Bke wi her and stood up, fag the man. Without a sed thought, Lili rushed through the street. The man stared at her back with clear hatred, remembering the way which she left.
“Eh, prick, give me back my dagger before I call my team and smash your teeth in.” The man threatened, clearly growing mitated as Lili disappeared from his viewpoint.
However, Bke didn’t respond, as he kept smiling, unmoving. The man began to grow fused, looking at Bke’s hands and seeing no dagger. A vein popped out from his forehead, as he stepped forward and grabbed Bke by the colr. “Where the hell is my dagger, fucker?!”
Bke kept smiling and then he disappeared into a puff of smoke, leaving behind a big piece of wood. The man’s eyes were wide, his mouth a snarl. The wood levitated in the air for half a sed before falling down straight on top of the man’s toe. He shouted and grabbed his leg in pain. His face was red as he was looking round, disoriented form the situation. His dagger was gohe girl was gohe strange man was gone and, it seemed, his toenail was gooo.
A few streets away from there, Bke was calmly walking around, iing all the peculiar shops and people in the proximity. He pyed with his dagger in his hands, silently strolling towards the dungeon in the middle of the city. It retty good dagger, much better than most of the ons made in Naruto.
Maybe it was because it was mass produced in Naruto?
Anyway, Bke retty tent with his first appearan this world. He had saved a little girl, Lo. Threatened some bastard and then stole his dagger. The man must be bursting with anger right now, but, oh well, not his business anymore.
“It is time to start the mission.” Bke cracked his neck. The pn was simple. Leave this city as soon as possible, away from all the gods and goddesses before he got mixed in with something annoying. Bke didn’t know whether gods would be able to sehat he was, in faot from here, but he didn’t want to risk it.
Killing adventurers iy was also not the best idea, sidering that he would probably get ganged up by their entire Familia’s. Therefore, Bke was left with oion. Go into the dungeon and ambush whoever was there. It was dangerous, sidering that Bke had not actually participated in that many battles yet.
Bke had the training, jutsu’s and ons, but he cked the experience. Yet, Bke had to do what he had to do. You couldn’t gain experiehout actually putting yourself in danger. Sadly, Bke had to leave Nightmare with Yahiko, for Bke wouldn’t be able to summon the creature here anyway.
Walking deeper into the city, Bke finally reached the entrao the dungeon.
His eyes wide the beauty of it all.
Well, he definitely couldn’t see stuff like that oh.
