Episode 1, Chapter 19: Triple Trouble

Nond stands in his boratory, staring at his computer screen. There were three blinking red dots, all in different locations, though one of them was moving. Shock and terror runs across Nond's skin as realization of the situation strikes him like an anvil to the head. MAPI hops onto Nond's shoulder to get a better vantage point, immediately realizing the situation as she sees the screen.

"I'll... I'll go tell the Captain." MAPI says shortly.

  "Y-Yeah... Go ahead..." Nond stammers.

MAPI calls down one of her monitors, climbing inside before heading up towards the Control Deck. Up at the top, Corry was already quite stressed from waiting for Nond's report, until MAPI shows up in one of her monitors. Corry jumps to his feet from his Captain's chair, anxiously awaiting a response.

"Well? Does Nond know where we can find the Grandmaster?" Corry asks quickly, clearly somewhat nervous.

"....Call everyone up here. We need to have meeting." MAPI says grimly.

"I don't like the sound of that..." Corry mutters to himself before walking over to a microphone on the control desk.

"Ahem... Will all crew members report to the Control Deck for a meeting? Thank you." Corry announces.

Nond was still in the b as the announcement is sent out through the P.A system. He silently starts making his way towards the elevator upwards. Chris was in the training chamber, attacking a training dummy ruthlessly. He seemed to be in a fit of rage, grunting and yelling with every attack he threw before finally throwing the dummy across the room. Panting and sweating, he grabs a bottle of water that was sitting on the ground next to his jacket. He takes a long swig when the announcement comes over the P.A system, causing him to look up.

"Did Nond find the Grandmaster? He better have... I have some beef with that guy that I want to settle." Chris states before walking down the hall, leaving his jacket.

Pool was still sitting on one of the benches in the main lobby, looking out the window to see the Earth way below her as the ship soars through the sky. The P.A announcement catches her by surprise, making her flinch and fall off of the bench. When she stands up, she rubs her head and looks up.

"I-I think I know where that is now..." Pool says softly before walking through the corridors.

Nond, Chris, and Pool all meet up at the elevator going up to the Control Deck, all three of them walk in, Chris sort of leans his head over to Nond.

"So, I'm guessing you managed to successfully pinpoint this Keller guy's location?" Chris asks with a sneer.

"...I'll... Go into m-more detail up there..." Nond mumbles.

Hearing this, the look on Chris's face morphs into confusion. He looks over at Pool, who shrugs her shoulders in response.

"....I have a feeling this isn't gonna be a good meeting..." Chris sighs.

When the elevator arrives at the top of the ship, Corry and MAPI were waiting for everyone already. When Nond, Chris, and Pool walk out of the elevator, Corry takes a deep breath.

"So uhhh.... You must have found something, right Nond?" Corry says with an anxious grin.

Nond walks past Corry and turns to face everyone.

"Yeah, so... I was able to pinpoint Keller's location." Nond states.

Chris and Corry cheer, jumping up and down.

"That was all?? You were making us so nervous!" Chris says joyously.

"Hehehe, now we can go take him down!" Corry excims.

"Um, Boys... I believe he has more to say..." Pool says.

Chris and Corry stop and look at each other before regaining their composure.

  "Sorry, go on." Chris apologizes.

"Yeah, we're sorry." Corry says as well.

Nond rubs his temples, now seeming a bit annoyed.

"Whatever... Yes, I found Grandmaster Keller's signal. An energy signature that powerful could only belong to that man, with that strange attack we saw from him. This signature is almost otherworldly I would say... Keller has it..." Nond expins.

"And so do two others." MAPI finishes, climbing into Nond's shoulder.

The rest of the crew stares at Nond bnkly before the realization sets in.

"W-Wait... Two others...?" Pool whispers to herself, covering her mouth.

"He said the energy was otherworldly... Like aliens or something...? That could only mean..." Chris starts, his pupils shrinking in surprise.

"If the energy isn't from here, and there's two more than Keller... That means there are three Grandmasters..." Corry says, realization hitting him like a bus.

"Exactly, there are two more Grandmasters than we originally thought, that is if they are Grandmasters." Nond states.

"What are we supposed to do about that!?" Chris shouts.

"Listen. Though they had the same signal, their strength was much lower than Keller's supposed energy. Keller must be stronger than the both of them." Nond continues.

"So you think maybe we can take them on?" Corry asks.

"If they really are parts of Techway, I suggest that groups of two head off towards the weaker signals first to investigate." Nond says.

The group looks at each other before looking back at Nond.

"So, where are the different signals?" Chris asks.

"The weakest one is in the Great Pins area of Nebraska, the other unnamed one is somewhere in Wyoming, presumably the Rocky Mountains. The strongest, probably Keller, was seen moving quickly through Canada." Nond expins some more.

"So how do we all go separately to these different locations?" Pool inquires.

"Oh yeah! I told you this ship came with a lot of vehicles, right? There are a couple mini transport shops that were probably used for troops and stuff!" Corry excims.

"That'll work perfectly. MAPI, do you think you could keep the ship moving? Keep out of danger, stuff like that." Nond offers.

"Can do, the ship will still be in one piece by the time you guys get back." MAPI confirms.

"We're not leaving now, some of us still need time to recover." Nond says, pointing to his bandaged arm.

"Then we'll leave tomorrow! How's that sound?" Corry suggests.

"Well, seeing as you're the captain, we don't have much of a choice, maybe the pain will die down by tomorrow..." Nond sighs.

"It sounds good to me." Chris says, nodding his head.

"I do hope we can defeat them..." Pool says worriedly.

"Don't worry about it Pool, remember: We work better in a team, as long as we're not alone, we can pull anything off!" Corry says reassuringly.

"Yes... I do suppose that's true..." Pool mumbles, cracking a small grin.

"Alright, then let's use this time to prepare and recover from the previous fight." Nond says.

"Right!" The rest of the crew says in unison.

The crew all go off to do their own things to prepare. Chris heads back down to the training room, Nond goes to lie down in his bed, Pool goes to take a bath, and Corry sits back down in his special chair, spinning around in it like a small child.

  Meanwhile, in the Canadian Wilderness...

A figure rushes through pine trees, there was an intense blizzard blowing through the air, obscuring a normal person's sight after only about 3 feet. The figure running through the snow had a navy blue cloak and a hood covering their head with a shadow. Underneath the cloak was a bck jumpsuit with cyan lines streaking through the edges. Underneath the hood, nothing could be seen except for rge, round glowing eyes. The speed he was running at was astonishing, bounding about 20 feet with every step. The figure comes upon a rocky outcrop, but does not see it as an obstacle, somehow jumping all the way to the top in a single leap. Once they make it to the top, they turn and stare out into the freezing fog from the cliff. The figure pulls out a radio transceiver and holds it up.

"Grandmaster Keller here, come in." The figure says.

Two voices come through separately, a soft male voice and a female voice.

"Grandmaster Mara here!" The female voice calls out.

"Grandmaster Alx." The soft male voice says shortly.

"Our secret is revealed, a group of misfits now know of us and think they're capable of taking on the full force of Techway's Grandmasters." Keller expins.

"Ah, was it the old man? I knew the fat bastard couldn't keep his mouth shut, he just loves to talk!" Mara says in a snarky voice.

Grandmaster Alx does not seem to respond to this.

"If they come after you, be sure to show them no mercy, I want to see their bodies ripped to shreds by the time you're done with them. As for me, the time is now, those fools probably think I destroyed the grand fleet with Bellow's base. I'm gonna get all of the ships at my hideout up and running. Send all of your men to me, you're not gonna need them against a bunch of insignificant bugs." Keller states.

  "Yes sir." Alx says.

"Aww, nobody with me? You're so mean Kelly... But fine, I'll send them over." Mara says in a fake whine.

"Remember, I want them to be beyond recognition. Grandmaster Keller out." Keller restates.

  "See ya!~" Mara sings.

  "Out." Alx says.

Keller puts the radio back inside of his cloak and starts bounding away again.

"Ehehe.... This conquering stuff is so fun...!! Everyone will finally be able to see true order.... I'm so excited!!" Keller shouts maniacally, ughing loudly as he disappears into the blizzard...

Back at the Airship, night finally begins to fall on everyone after some time. Corry was asleep on his bed in the Control Deck, he was wearing blue striped pajamas and a nightcap, while also holding a teddy bear. Chris was ying on a cargo crate, resting his body after the workouts he had done. Pool sits in her room, finding herself looking out the window again, it was quite therapeutic for her. Nond had fallen asleep watching TV in the Rec Room, he seemed to be watching a show about people that create inventions and show them off to multimillionaire investors. Everyone was doing their own thing before the big day tomorrow. They would be going after three great evils in just mere hours. Whatever happens next is dependant on how the battles go... They must all be at their best! Techway is preparing for them as well, who knows what could happen...
