Chapter 8: My First Day as a God and I Already Hate It

Kaito sat on a throne made of celestial light, rubbing his temples. "So let me get this straight… I just became a god, and I already have paperwork?"

The God of Wisdom, who was flipping through a massive golden scroll, nodded. "Indeed. As a Primordial God, you now oversee multiple aspects of reality. There are divine ws to uphold, prayers to answer, and—"

Kaito raised a hand. "Yeah, yeah, I get it. Bureaucracy is eternal, even in the heavens. But why am I the one doing this? Aren’t there clerks for this kind of stuff?"

The Goddess of Order, an elegant woman with silver hair, gave him a sharp look. "Primordial Gods must take responsibility for their power. Otherwise, existence could colpse into chaos."

Kaito sighed. "And here I thought being a god meant unlimited fun."

The God of Chaos leaned against the throne’s armrest, grinning. "It is… if you know how to bend the rules."

Kaito narrowed his eyes. "I feel like that advice will get me in trouble."

The God of Creation, who had been silent until now, finally spoke. "Kaito, your power is beyond comprehension. If left unchecked, even the smallest action could ripple across the multiverse. You need to understand that."

Kaito crossed his arms. "Fine, I get it. But at least let me do something fun first. You know, something fitting for a newly ascended god?"

The gods exchanged gnces before the Goddess of Fate finally spoke. "Very well. We shall allow you to create your own divine domain."

A new notification popped up in front of Kaito.

  > [You have unlocked the Divine Realm Creation System.]

[Would you like to create your personal divine domain?]

  Kaito grinned. "Oh, hell yeah."

The sky above the pantheon shimmered as Kaito’s imagination shaped reality itself.

"I want a paradise where gods can chill, eat good food, and not worry about divine responsibilities. A pce of ultimate rexation!"

Reality twisted and bent to his will. A vast floating isnd formed in the sky, filled with soft, fluffy clouds that acted as beds. Waterfalls of pure golden nectar flowed into shimmering pools. Enormous feasts appeared on long tables, constantly refilling themselves.

  A new notification appeared:

  > [Congratutions! You have created the Divine Lounge: The Godly Rest Stop.]

[A pce where gods can sck off and avoid work.]

The Goddess of Order facepalmed. "This is a disaster waiting to happen."

The God of Chaos cpped his hands. "Finally! A god who gets it!"

Kaito crossed his arms proudly. "Alright, who’s up for a divine BBQ?"

Several gods looked hesitant, but when they saw the heavenly grilled meat that shimmered with divine energy, they slowly approached.

As Kaito watched them dig in, he grinned. "Being a god isn’t so bad after all."

  Or so he thought…

Because in the next moment, a new notification appeared.

  > [Warning! You have created a realm that disrupts divine duties.]

[The God of Justice is on his way to shut it down.]

Kaito’s face went pale. "…Oh, come on."
