  “KAITO!” she roared, her voice ced with cosmic fury. “You dare cause a universal romantic spike without proper clearance?!”

  Kaito’s jaw dropped. “There’s paperwork for romance!?”

  Jealina’s face flushed green. “Unbelievable! I hereby decre Kaito—the Lazy God—a Public Enemy of Romance! Until further notice, your divine license for flirty interactions is revoked!”

  Kaito stared. “Wait, that’s a thing!?”
