He hoped that she wasn't following him.

  Haruo wanted to walk home by himself today, he had been doing it these st few weeks. He thought it was for the best for his family as he didn't want to ruin the other kaiju's moods if he walked home with them.

  He was often quiet when he walked home with either Masaru and Susumu or with Hanae, Hayate and Fumihito, and he didn't want to walk home with Fuyuko, Kae or Masumi either.

  They would question his injuries again.

  He would rather not walk home with the twins or with Tsuneo either, they were often too happy compared to how quiet or grumpy he often acts even before Haruki went missing.

  Haruo stood by the edge of a road, preparing to cross it as he stood outside of the rge forest. He was pnning to do a solo night run tonight in the forest, hopefully to find the monster---But before Haruo could cross the road, he paused, his eye widened.

  He, could sense something dangerous nearby, It was coming from the woods as Haruo turned towards the entrance, it must be the monster, it has to be.

  He could sense another kaiju too, it felt like, Sota. Haruo had gotten used to sensing the other kaijus at this point and Sota must have found the monster and was fighting it right now. Shit, Haruo thought, he could get killed if he fights it alone.

  But Sota, wasn't alone, which almost caused Haruo to grunt out a shit in the process as he realised that someone was with Sota, and he would need to transform if he needed to take down something like the monster, which means, whoever was with Sota will see his kaiju form, if they haven't seen Sota's already.

  Regardless, saving Sota and the unknown person was Haruo's priority, he ran into the woods, gripping his bag before he threw it onto the side so he could pick It up ter when the battle was over as he charged further into the forest, bumping into a few trees in the process.

  But he focused on following the three figures, and as he did, his eye began to glow brightly through the dark forest as he prepared for the impending battle.

  "Lookout!" Sota shouted to Celosia. He knew he could get out of the way from that multi eyed monster's grab on time, but Celosia couldn't and so he grabbed her and threw himself and Celosia away from the multi eyed monsters long, green elogated hands as the two nded on some nearby dirt, The Monster's arms crashed into a tree, having missed grabbing Celosia, but it slowly twisted itself around towards the two, as they slowly got up from the ground.

  As the Monster turned, the two could hear it's bones snapping into it's new direction, the two looked disgusted at the Monster again as they prepared for it's next move against them.

  "Stay behind me, or just get away from us." Sota looked back at the Monster after warning Celosia, his beige coloured eyes fshed brightly. Celosia obliged his request to not get in the way, she stood by a nearby tree away from Sota and the multi eyed Monster, before watching as Sota began to transform.

  "What, the fuck?" Celosia uttered as she watched as Sota grow taller and his uniform riping open as his body began to get covered in beige covered scales, tendrils began to rip open from various parts of his body as his head swelled up to resemble that of an octopus. Sota screeched at the Monster as he charged towards it.

  "Holy shit." Celosia wasn't scared by Sota's new form, in fact, she was in awe over how cool It looked.

  Sota wrapped his tendrils around the multi eyed monster, who tried to reach out to grab him, only for Sota to have the Monster sm into the nearest tree with his tendrils, he did this a few times before the multi eyed monster managed to grab onto Sota's long tendril leg that he now had before smming him into the dirt.

  Before Sota had time to recover, the multi eyed Monster grabbed his neck and smmed him back onto the ground, the sm was hard enough for custard orange blood to start spilling from the side of Sota's head.

  Sota slowly got up, only for the Monster to send a punch into the kaiju's stomach, Sota tumbled back, but blocked the next punch with a tendril, before whipping the Monster with another one, causing the Monster to let out a hiss, which sounded like it was sizzling rather then the hiss of an animal.

  It charged forward, but Sota moved under and smmed itself into the multi eyed Monster's stomach, above it's mouth, which it began to lower itself down towards, it's mouth sounding like it was breaking and contorting as it slowly moved down to Sota's head.

  "Shit, Sota lookout!" Celosia squealed, Sota could feel the air of the multi eyed Monster's mouth as it slowly moved towards him. He tried to move back, only for the Monster's arms to wrap itself around Sota's back, making it hard for the kaiju to move in the position that he's in, his tendrils frailed in the air before grabbing the Monster's head.

  He tried to pull It of him but it wouldn't budge, Sota screeched as he looked upwards, to see the mouth and the Monster's sharp teeth moving in towards his head, ready to rip into him like it had already done to the entrails of it's previous three victims.

  Celosia gasped in fear, she quickly looked around, trying to find anything sharp that she could use, knowing that stabbing it could cause the Monster to lose focus on Sota.

  There was no sharp sticks, but there was a sharp rock, and it was good enough for Celosia, who grabbed the rock and charged forward towards the Monster in anger.

  "GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAH!" She screeched, getting the Monster's attention, when it slowly twisted itself towards Celosia, she smmed the rock as hard as she could into It's head, deep enough for rose colored gunk to start leaking out from it's head, the multi eyed Monster hissed again, the pain bad enough for it to let go of Sota, who pushed himself away from It.

  The monster Celosia away with one of it's long hands, causing one of Celosia's cheek to cut open as she fell back onto the dirt, breathing heavily, she watched as the multi eyed Monster, still bleeding with rose gunk, charged it's way towards Celosia and prepared to consume the shocked girl, causing her to scream in horror.

  Only for the Monster to be punched backwards by the emergance of another creature that broke through two trees behind Celosia, the creature pulled Celosia away from the Monster and protected her as the Monster charged back towards the two.

  Only for the creature to turn and use his yellow spikes on it's back to pierce the Monster instead. The creature and Celosia looked back towards the Monster, who moved back, now bleeding with more spots across it's short body.

  Celosia looked up towards the scarlet scale lizard creature that saved her just now, it was bigger, around the same size as Sota, Celosia wondered if it was the same type of supernatural being that Sota was.

  "Thanks." Celosia watched as the creature pced Celosia behind him, before he turned at the Monster as It tried to charge at the two again, only for the scarlet lizard to charge forward as well, crashing into the Monster in the process.

  The scarlet lizard smashed into the multi eyed monster and came out of the other side, leaving nothing but rose colored gunk everywhere in the area of woods that they were in, and sharp teeth, that looked ancient and long. They fell around Celosia, Sota and the creature but fortunately none of them were pierced by them.

  Celosia approached Sota and the unknown creature, she knew already that they were safe enough to be around, considering that they just killed the thing that was trying to rip Celosia and Sota into pieces just now. "Thanks, for saving us." Celosia looked up towards the scarlet lizard.

  "I could have died just now." She smiled, the two creatures looked at Celosia, they were gd that she was alright, and yet, they were also worried.

  They couldn't transform back into their kaijin forms, even though Sota had already transformed in front of Celosia, he tapped his tendril towards the scarlet lizard, proving Celosia right that they were reted, she can tell that they were communicating to themselves, and so kept quiet, as she watched Sota be the first out of the two to turn back into his kaijin form, followed by the scarlet liazard, who looked reluctant.

  The sound of bones crunching and twisting were heard as the two boys reverted back to their kaijin forms, Celosia, was surprised at who the scarlet lizard was. "Haruo?" Celosia blurted out.

  "So, this is what you, Sota and everyone else in your family are?" She asked, looking between the two boys.

  "Yeah." Haruo would confirm, a look of fear appearing on his face.

  "W-We can't let anyone know who we are, but because of the circumstances." Haruo looked around at the remains of the Monster, fortunately it couldn't regenrate, but now there was a new problem standing in front of him and Sota.

  "We're sorry, for pulling you into this Celosia." Sota apologised for, everything that had happened just now, Haruo was more worried then him.

  "Fuck, it's a bigger issue Sota! She knows about us now, shit, this wasn't supposed to happen!" In anger, Haruo smashed his fist into a nearby tree as Celosia and Sota looked on.

  "Haruo listen, it's okay, if you're worried about people finding out, then I won't tell." Celosia assured to Haruo, as he took a deep breath.

  "Besides, would anyone believe me if I did tell them that I just saw two guys who can turn into a giant lizard and octopus fight off, some, martian monster just now?" Celosia pointed out, Haruo slowly turned back towards Celosia and Sota.

  "Your, not even the slightest bit scared of us, or want to tell anyone?" Haruo wiped some of the sludge off of his face, confusion now in his voice over how, assuring Celosia was, as well as the fact that she was, calm over everything that had happened, besides the part where she almost got killed by the Monster.

  "You two clearly want to keep whatever you are a secret from everyone else, it's the least that I can do to repay the two of you for, saving me." Celosia beamed through the gunk that was dripping around her, Sota also smiled in relief, and Haruo gripped his arm, having finally calm down.

  He, didn't expect a human, to ever respond this way like Celosia has, normally they would be scared.

  And yet, Celosia wasn't.

  "Celosia." Haruo still didn't understand some things regarding Celosia, but, he seemed apperciative by her gesture to keep what they were a secret.

  "Could you at least, come home with us, so we can help---

  Oh, she might not tell anyone." A voice called out from behind the trio.

  David slowly emerged from the trees. "But I will." He finished.

  "What the fuck!? Your that creep that morning from the hill." Celosia snarled, he had that same stupid grin too, only this time, it went from looking human, to looking uncanny, as if he was some sort of creep that was spying on his next victims.

  "Why in the fuck are you here?" Celosia demanded an answer, but she, Haruo and Sota gasped when David pulled out something from his trenchoat.

  A gun.

  "Oh, you might be shocked now Miss Barnes, but don't worry." He talked in a calm manner.

  "You'll all be giving eternal rest like so many, before you." He decred.
