I was catching my breath after the fight when I noticed something that was quite annoying. A second dummy had started moving towards me.

  "Seriously? Why is this one moving now?" (Dragonfly)

  "Oh, they do that sometimes. The method to destroy it is the same as the previous one." (Camity)

  Apparently I had to fight more of those. That was just amazing. At least we knew how to handle them now.

  "Dragonfly, I wanna try something! Don't burn this one, please." (Nix)

  "Sure, go ahead." (Dragonfly)

  A moment ter, the dummy was frozen in pce thanks to the ice chunks that had formed around it's joints. Seeing the opportunity, I ran up to it and destroyed it's core along with it's head.

  Looking around to confirm my suspicions, I saw that a third one had activated. This was going to take a while.

  ...

  After what felt like ages, we were finally down to the st of the twelve dummies. Unfortunately, we had an issue.

  "I'm out of mana." (Nix)

  That was a pretty big issue especially since our strategy so far was to use Nix's magic to stop the dummies in pce while I finished them off. We had to come up with something new for this one.

  "Oh, I know! Let's use the power of friendship!" (Nix)

  "What?" (Dragonfly)

  "The power of friendship! It's when you violently beat up your enemies, but with friends!" (Nix)

  "That's not wha- Actually, nah, this is funnier." (Camity)

  That did sound like it could work, actually.

  "Alright, I'll attack from the front, you go from behind." (Dragonfly)

  I began by striking at the dummy's head with my sword, giving time for Nix to get in position. It blocked my swing just to get shoved to the ground by Nix. We then proceeded to kick the dummy a whole bunch to prevent it from recovering. When it stopped moving thanks to the accumuted damage, I destroyed the core with my bde.

  "The power of friendship saves the day!" (Nix)

  "Yeah, we won." (Dragonfly)

  I realised that I was smiling at that moment. I had to admit that that "power of friendship" thing seemed pretty fun.

  "Girls, I gotta go do something, but I'll be back. Should probably go clean myself too while I'm at it too. Have fun!" (Camity)

  With that, the older witch walked out by walking through the wall. I went to poke the wall and discovered that it was actually solid. There was probably some strange magic at py here, but it wasn't worth questionning.

  "Do you know what we are supposed to be doing now?" (Dragonfly)

  Nix looked puzzled for a moment.

  "I have no idea. I don't meet guests that often. Oh! Do you have any cool stories? You look cool, so you must have cool stories." (Nix)

  I wasn't too eager to talk about my past, but it was probably a good idea to do it anyways. Besides, Nix had been quite nice to me so far. I didn't really have a reason not to tell her a bit. As for Camity, I had a feeling that she already knew everything for some reason.

  "Well, I'm not sure as to how cool it is, but I can tell you about how I ended up here." (Dragonfly)

  "Ohhhh, go ahead!" (Nix)

  As I began to talk about my time in the b, her expression quickly soured. It improved by a decent margin once I got to my escape, but she still looked annoyed. It didn't take too long to go over everything important since I wasn't too keen on going over the details. I did also gloss over the strange blessing. Once I was done talking, she spoke up.

  "The Gcius Empire is evil! When we get older, let's overthrow the government with the power of friendship!" (Nix)

  "Wait, that's not needed, I'm not seeking vengeance or anything." (Dragonfly)

  "Well you should! Plus, I don't like them, so I want to get rid of them!" (Nix)

  She seemed quite set on overthrowing the government, for some reason. I really didn't want to do that, however. I mean, taking down an Empire wasn't something that could be done with just brute force.

  "Taking down a whole nation isn't something that you can just casually do, you know?" (Dragonfly)

  "Oh, come on, I'm pretty sure that mom has done it before. We could just ask for her advice on how to do it!" (Nix)

  Camity had told me that her title of Witch of Camity wasn't fitting. Unfortunately, I had no way to confirm if that statement was actually true or not. Even if it was true, she was probably still be able to give decent advice on how to destroy a country considering just how powerful she was.

  "It's really not needed, tho. We have no reason to want to do that, actually." (Dragonfly)

  "What? But they could have lots of ancient magical artifacts and simir stuff. We could take all of it after beating the Empire!" (Nix)

  The chance to get shinies was really tempting, but I prevailed. Being the voice of reason is actually really difficult.
